Ahoy mateys! Call me spacey. Like the thread says, I’m on the hunt for a few roleplays with original stories and characters! Looking for partners that are also 21+ just for comfort reasons. As an aside, if we’ve rp’d or chatted before but got busy, feel free to reach back out if you’d like. Without further ado, I’ll tell you a bit more about what kind of rp I’m looking for and then the specific genres that speak to me.
Just to keep things short and sweet, I’m craving some more rp adventures with compelling characters and immersive worlds. So if you’ve got an obscure plot or inkling that you wanna flesh out and maybe even roleplay, don’t hesitate to reach out and we can chat!
RP Preferences:
- 3rd person, paragraph format
- Literate, but quality over quantity
- Fine with character images or descriptions of partner’s choice
- Mostly writes M characters in M/M or M/F romances, but can write side/bonus characters of all kinds.
- I can also write female leads if partner heavily prefers to write the M in M/F romances, or has a good plot for an F/F story
- Open to writing platonic/more plot focused RPs as well
- Worldbuilding and character development is fun
- Prefer PMs over threads for RP
- No content limits within site rules, but lemme know if you do.
- Prefer original characters and plots, but open to discussing fandom characters
Current Cravings/Genres:
Right now, I‘m just craving writing an adventure of any kind. Worldbuilding, a growing cast of characters, new and fun locations, that sort of thing. For the time being, I’ve had my fill of bleak plots, so I’m aiming for something with more fun and lightheartedness in mind. Not that dark and grit isn’t fun as well, but for now, I want to try writing happy endings, haha. Characters of all kinds are welcome, even with angsty or tragic pasts. For settings, we can make up one of our own or go with a fandom we’re both happy with. Generally, I’m open to your ideas, but here are some of mine to get the ball rolling:
Those Who Chase Starsy
- In the distant future, energy is gathered from collapsing stars by brave pilots called starchasers. During a mission, one starchaser finds something strange in the supernova— a human being, encased in a sort of amber…
The Heroes We Were (slice of life, superheroes and villains)
- A group of superpowered teens grew up and lost access to their powers upon saving the world, but when their arch nemesis awakens once again, find that they’re unable to live as civilians.
Everyday in this Extraordinary World
- A pair of characters get isekai’d into an RPG-inspired world with dragons, demons, and dungeons, only to find out there’s been an error of some kind and they’re only given the abilities of normal NPCs.
A Slumbering Dragon to Wake the World
- With the old gods on the verge of awakening, a group of heroes embark to awaken the dragon that can end all calamities, only to find the only way to awaken it is to play a five-part melody.
Short Glimmer of Glory
- A valkyrie awakens in a modern era without heroes and makes it their mission to personally train a goodhearted person into vanquishing evil and living a life of honor.
Second Vein in the Wild West
- When the lone lawman of a frontier settlement is killed in a massacre, they are assisted by an unlikely ally— a vampire whose loyalties still lie with humanity. The undead duo sets off for vigilante justice.
To Sing Once More, As We Did Before
- Historical figures and great artists of all kinds are resurrected as synthetic ‘echoes’ for the pleasure of an erudite echelon. However, they are given the chance to be more than toys when their creator dies and creates a ‘competition’ in their will, with the winner gaining a true rebirth, with full humanity and all the freedom that comes with it.
