Ghostly Presence
Okay so, I found a bunch of starter sentence generators online and started writing little drabbles with them. I guess I'll just drop 'em here for shits and giggles.
The locker room was completely cleared out, except for a switchblade in the corner. Faint light from the widow just above the lockers made the red gloss of the thing shine alluringly. Like prey drawn to the light of an anglerfish, Jaye Lowell practically floated over to the weapon. A tanned hand reached down to pluck it from its place on the wooden bench in the corner. Her fingers curled around it and lifted it up only to immediately hiss and throw it back. On the other end of the room, lanky red head Sharron Dunn perked up and looked over her shoulder at Jaye, who was now cradling her right hand.
"Jaye? You alright?" Sharron asked as she zipped up her bag and slung it over a bare freckled shoulder. Jaye shook her head as she stared at the switchblade, now laying on the ground. The thing had burned her, made obvious by the very clear burn mark now adorning the skin of her palm.
"Uh.. yea. Let's get out of here. I'm hungry." Jaye curled the fingers of her hand around her burnt palm, concealing the mark. She picked her bag up off the floor and made her way over to the door with Sharron.
"Man, I feel you. I could totally eat a horse right now. Wanna head to Luke's? Klide said that's were the were headed."
"Yea, sound fine." Jaye said distractedly, eyes locked on the switchblade still laying on the locker rooms tile floor until the door closed and blocked her vision. When she finally looked up to continue following Sharron. If she'd been looking at her hand, she would've seen the flicker of flames from her closed fist.

I cared about what she thought, so when she dared me I knew I was in trouble. Of course, it would've been easy to just chicken out with anyone else but I couldn't do that with her. I had to impress her, and what better way than by doing this dare? A dare that had everyone gasping and turning my direction to see my reaction. I felt all those eyes on me but the only ones I could see where her baby blues. She leaned forward, clasping her hands together with a smile that seemed almost cynical and for a moment I was frozen. Everyone around me, including her, waited with bated breath for my answer. I could her Andrew mumbling something about "dumb games" and bouncing his leg impatiently. On her right side, Donna's light brown eyes were wide with a mix of surprise and excitement. Donna's twin Katelynn picked absent-mindedly at her black nails, not the least worried about this dare I had just been given. Gil laughed like it was a joke but shut up the second Donna shot him a grave look. Eventually the four of them were all looking my way, watching, waiting.. well except for Katelynn she was just annoyed and made that very clear.
"Hey, dork, are you gonna answer or just sit there and stare?" I swallowed thickly as Donna hit Katelynn on the shoulder and chastised her twin for being "mean". Katelynn simply rolled her eyes and leaned back against a surprised Gil, "What? It's not like she's gonna say yes anyway, she's too scared." Katelynn emphasised the word scared the way a child would when making fun of someone. I wasn't about to be made fun of, not in front of her, of Shannon.
"I'll do it."
And that's how I ended up sitting in the police department at two in the morning with Shannon Freedman, in my underwear, for climbing to the top of the courthouse and throwing my clothes off. But Shannon was smiling so wide, her eyes still wild with adrenaline, as she wrapped her jacket around my bare shouldes that I couldn't seem to care at all.
