Clan history: The Mibu clan was formed when Kyoshirou went all over Japan collected all the yokai human hybrids like himself. The clan expanded when the Hyakki Yagyo was added to it when the original Nurarihyon retired naming Kyo as his successor. The merger with the Hyakki Yagyo is closely guarded secret until it's neccessary to be revealed. So some of the full blood yokai among the Mibu Clan are not allowed to assume their true forms unless absolutely neccessary

Specialty: They're a Demon Clan that is higly coordinated thanks to their leader being part Nurarihyon. have a variety of yokai among them and each yokai has their specific talents. But generally the Mibu's advantage is their ability to attack night or day as well as their ability to attack swiftly and heavily while being able to withdraw just as quick. They have unnaturally fast troop movement for an because they are an army of yokai not humans. This is due to the various abilities of the yokai and particularly the use of certain yokai races as the transport for others such as the Takarabune who's true form is that of ship or a Tsukumogami which could also have true forms of ships. Ultimately the Mibu can travel over land, sea, and air rather easily.

Family history: The Shirobara was not a military or political clan before, but instead they started as a kenjutsu dojo. The kenjutsu clan back then was just a small school of swordmanship, it's fame only regional and none of the powerful lords knew of it. It was not until Hiroshi became the headmaster that the fate of the clan had changed. He traveled all over Japan to find and duel with all the talented swordmen in the country. In his travel, though he fought many great warriors and swordmaster in the land, he never lost a single match and held a record of 41 wins, thus became an urban legend.

It's when Hiroshi at the age of 32 when he was invited by the head of the Katagami clan for their famous swordmanship. He was asked by the warlord to be their sword instructor and retainer. Hiroshi became a minor daimyo for the bigger clan with his job mainly was instructing kenjutsu for the army and the Katagami children. Name: Shirobara Hiroshi

    Age: 51

    Gender: Male

Appearance: Hiroshi, though has been reputed as the legendary unbeaten swordman, stand only 5 ft 9 and has a very thin body build. He has long hair that he usually let free and only tail up a little at the end. Despite being at the age of 50, he somehow keeps a surprisingly young and handsome appearance.

Because of the disease he got, Hiroshi is very slim. He is also become slow and energyless most of the time. He is also gentle in his gesture on how he reacts to things. None has ever seen him angry or being provoked.

Family and power: Hiroshi's known as the founder of Shirobara kenjutsu and the unbeaten swordman in the past. He has brought fame to his family and turned it into a vassal clan to the Katagami. But now, with the disease he has that has declined his ability greatly, most of his power transferred to his first son Osamu. Hiroshi now is the advisor for his son Osamu - who is now the head of Shirobara clan - silently helps his son run the clan.

Personality: Hiroshi, an old man with a incurable sickness, understands well that he has already passed his peak time. He is now not as ambitious as when he was young, but a calmer and more patient man. His gestures always are slow and gentle. He always looks to avoid a fight or making more enemy, this is seen by most other lords is a weakness of the Shirobara clan.
For his opponent, he always respects them and always show kindness. He never hated his enemy, its a weakness in a duel and will cloud his judgement.
Toward the Katagami clan, Hiroshi shows great grateful. He never forgets the fact that if it's not for the Katagami clan, he would still be teaching swordmanship in a small village. He showed respect for lord Katagami Masanori and now he wants his son to aid the young head of the clan Masaki as well.
As he has a sickness, he knew the fact that he would die soon one day, and his sons would need to be ready to guide the clan. Therefore he has very high hope for both of his sons and its very important to him that they must be able to succeeded him. However, that lead to the departure of his second son - Shunsuke - and become his regret.

Bio: Hiroshi became the head of the Shirobara clan at a young age, 23, as his father died of disease. He stated that he wanted everyone in Japan to know about the talented swordmanship of the Shirobara clan and started travelling all over Japan and dueled with every famous swordmen he could find in Japan. In his adventure, Hiroshi was shown to the world, he defeated every other dojo and swordmanster that answered to his challenge. By the time he was 30 held the legendary record of 41 wins and had never known defeat. His goal was more or less reached as everyone then knew the name of Shirobara kenjutsu from all over Japan.

When the words had already spread, lord Katagami of the Katagami clan was impressed about the tale of a man who never defeated in a swordfight and invited Hiroshi to observe his swordmanship skill. He then offered Hiroshi a place in his side to fight and become the instructor for swordmanship for his children, to which Hiroshi agreed. After that the Shirobara clan became a noble clan and vassal clan to the Katagami clan. Hiroshi himself became a minor daimyo and controlled a small castle. In spite of this, the head of the clan Hiroshi didn't have much military power and had to fight whenever he's summoned.

He became a retainer for the Katagami clan for almost ten years until his sickness didn't allow him to serve anymore. He stepped down and his first son Osamu then became the head of the clan. Hiroshi now is the advisor for his own son, stay behind the line to aid his son.

Clan: Tsuchimikado

Current Head: Tsuchimikado Kouryuu

Home Province: Yamashiro

Home Castle: Nijo Castle

Clan history: The Tsuchimikado themselves are a small clan but they command much power and several larger minor clans and small minor clan in addition to the fighting men of their territory that compose their army. What makes the Tsuchimikado such a powerful clan is the fact that it's also a clan of Onmyouji, those of the Tsuchimikado bloodline are practioners of the esoteric art of Onmyodo meant originally to combat beings such as demons, yokai, and spirits. During the times of demon wars many turned to and pledged their banners to the Tsuchimikado Clan in return for their aid. The small minor clan under the Tsuchimikado is actually a branch family responsible for using their Onmyodo for forging weapons and armor for the Tsuchimikado clan and for those under them who they deem worthy. This lead to the Tsuchimikado amassing much support and power.

Specialty:
This is a specific supernatural art that was born of several other supernatural arts that is practiced by the Onmyouji. It is a blend of yin-yang, wu xing, 8 trigrams, alchemy, ofuda, divination and similar supernatural arts, making Onmyodo something like a super art. The core of Onmyodo is the understanding and manipulation of the two opposing forces yin and yang. It’s original purpose was to be used against evil apparitions such a demons, yokai, and other such entities. When one becomes an Onmyouji they gain a spiritually awareness, a sort of sixth sense that allows them to sense supernatural things.

Sometimes referred to as Ofuda, Onmyouji can inscribe esoteric symbols or runes upon paper to create paper charms. These can cast simple elemental spells such a fiery explosions and solid rock walls. They are used to set up barriers and wards to keep unwanted entities away. Th are good for exorcising possessed beings and for sealing entities away. They can also be used as a form of long range communication depending on how skilled the user is with their extra sensory perception skills. The use of paper charms is common for lower class Onmyouji as middle and higher class Onmyouji can cast spells without them.

Middle class Onmyouji can cast magic using the Wu Xing elemental manipulation The Five Wu Xing elements are Fire, Earth, Water, Wood, and Metal each have an element they are superior to and elements they work well with. These five elements can be manipulated in their normal forms or combined in various combinations to make new elements such as magma and acid.

High class onmyouji can use the 64 commands of the hexagrams formed by the 8 trigrams. These 64 commands can be order and used in various sequences to cast various spells. The complexity of these spells outclass the complexity of the Wu Xing elements which is why an Onmyouji able to use the 64 commands is consider high class and generally a master of the art.

Onmyouji are known for being able to summon spirits known as shikigami. Shikigami have various levels of power and abilities but also require an onmyouji above or equal to their level to manage them. If an onmyouji cannot manage their Shikigami and lose control over it, the Shikigami can end up attacking its summoner.

After the death of lord Komori, his only son Takahiro became Clan leader and vassalized the Hikkigaya along with one of there other neighbors. After that the three clans forced the other remaining prominent clan in the area to surrender, Bingo Province was unified at last. When the Eurpoeans arrived in the west the Komori were quick to adapt the musket and introduce it into the army. Using their new found skill with the rifles and there old ways of night fighting, the clan took up the call of the Emperor and joined in the great war. What happens next is to be seen.
