Clan Name: Tokugawa
Clan History: The Tokugawa clan was founded by Minamoto no Yoshishige, and was first an offshoot of the Nitta clan. At first z they were nothing more than a powerful military force. But then things got...interesting. You see, there was once two brothers, twins to be exact, who both wanted control of the clan. The older one, Shin, was the better warrior, but the younger one Takeshi was willing to do anything to win. So, according to legend, he went to a hidden shrine and sold his soul to a demon in exchange for the ability to beat his brother. And he got just that, the infamous"Devil's Release" style. Takeshi killed his brother, forever tainting the clan with it's demonic heritage. It's tradition that the oldest child challenge to Lord of the clan, and to kill his own father to be the true heir to the Demon's Release.

Clan specialties: The clan is known for their excellent swordsman, and their rulers are some of the best in Japan. They start from a very young age, and no one, regardless of their place of birth, is denied the chance to swing a sword for the clan.

Personality: Shin is a quiet, considered warrior. As the eldest of the clan, it is his duty to inform day kill his father to rule the clan. He takes his duty very seriously, and rarely has any time to relax. He does enjoy being with his wife and children, though. His personality has been dulled a bit due to his use of the Demon's Release, though he has slowed it down through focus and meditation.
History: Born the eldest son of the clan, Shin knew from the second he could talk that he would one day kill his father. He started training with his younger brother, Hiro, and despite how different they were, were very close. Despite the brutal training, they stayed together, and we're inseperable. Eventually, Shin was named the heir, and suprsingly, there was no animosity between him and Hiro. Hiro didn't want to be the leader of the clan. But soon fate took a sour turn. Their mother was soon assassinated, Hiro being blamed. He was banished, stripped of his title and made a ronin, forbidden from ever using the Demon's Release again. Shin took this hard, having to pull himself out of a deep depression before he met his wife. He now has two children and is expecting a third.

Clan history: Given their small nation state, Mori has always born their nation on the backs of their main magic caster focused on defense and rally. Struggling between the powers that reside in the south, even under the close eye of the former shogunate, they had to struggle to keep their land from their preying neighbors. Their nation also retained a strong naval force doubling as land forces when needed because of the lack of men.

Clan Name: Otomo
Clan history: An ancient and strong clan. Long ago they secured the Ashikaga shogunate only to find their loyalty forgotten over a century later. Powerful clans rising all around them the looked to a greater power. A lesser lord had risen up and staved off both invasion and rebellion by signing with the devil and it was clear there was power in their actions. With the Shimazu taking a stance in the south and the Shoni gathering support in the north. Wars happened but they were happening more and more day by day. A new age of war was evident in the future, the Otomo would not let it pass them by. Already growing as disliked as the Shogunate it was clear that allies wouldn't be their saviour, at least not native ones. Because of this they made a change. They saw a great power, rivalling that of the mages, the power of christianity, not in its gods but in its gun. In its ships. In its wealth. A deal with the Devil could save them and so they signed.

Clan Name: Uchiha
Clan history:
The Uchiha are descendants of Indra Ōtsutsuki, the elder son of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki. Through Indra, the Uchiha inherited Hagoromo's "eyes", granting them powerful spiritual energy and chakra. As part of the so-called "Curse of Hatred" first displayed by Indra, Uchiha are subject to powerful emotions: these emotions typically start as love for a friend or family member that then become overpowering hatred when the object of their love is lost. This loss, whether actually experienced or merely threatened, awakens an Uchiha's Sharingan. It is due to the Sharingan that the Uchiha have received much of their fame and notoriety.
The Uchiha have been fighting the Senju clan for centuries, a rivalry that traces back to the days of Indra and his younger brother, Asura. When the Sage of Six Paths was dying, he selected Asura as his successor, believing Asura's desire for peace through love was better than Indra's peace through power. Indra, driven by his Curse of Hatred, fought Asura to claim what he believed was his birthright. The Uchiha and Senju, descendants of Indra and Asura respectively, continued their battle through the centuries, though none still remembered this reason for their conflict.

By the time of the Warring States Period, the Uchiha and Senju had emerged as the strongest shinobi clans in the world. When one of the fledgling countries of the era would hire the Uchiha to fight in their wars, the opposing side would hire the Senju. The constant warfare between their clans only fueled their hatred, with all Uchiha owing the death of a loved one to an Senju and vice versa. But centuries of conflict began to wear on members of the clans; Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju met as children and became friends, bonding over their disapproval of the combat and death that they and their younger brothers were constantly subjected to and dreaming of a time when children wouldn't need to fight. Unable to do anything about the world at their age, Madara turned away from their dreams.
Madara and Hashirama continued to face each other in battle over the coming years. Driven by his desire to defeat Hashirama and through competition with his younger brother, Izuna, Madara became the first Uchiha to awaken his Mangekyō Sharingan. With its increased power he took control of the Uchiha. Hashirama, by then leader of the Senju, tried to use their positions to broker peace between them and finally achieve their childhood dreams. Despite growing interest in peace amongst the Uchiha, Madara was unwilling to agree to peace after Izuna was killed by Hashirama's brother, Tobirama. Using Izuna's eyes to acquire "eternal" Mangekyō, Madara challenged the Senju for supremacy one final time. He was defeated, but even then refused Hashirama's offer of peace, insisting that Hashirama kill himself first. When Hashirama agreed to these terms, Madara was moved to accept, withdrawing his request for Hashirama's death.

Clan specialties: The Uchiha are known for powerful fire magic, illusion magic, and a very small amount have a special ability known as the Sharingan. The Sharingan are an eye based ability giving them the ability to cast illusion magic just by looking at someone, copy movements and non-clan specific magic, and see details as little as the smallest muscle movements. These eyes can be trained though and evolved to give the user even more powerful abilities.
