    Appearance: Lord Ueno is already an old man. All his hair is alredy white and he has a small body build(5 ft 6) but the daimyo makes sure nobody will take him lightly. His eyes alone show that he's a cunning and experience man and he's everything you should be careful for.

    Personality: Though he's already an old man, his mind is still cunning and sharp. He's the kind of man that always has something behind his sleeve. He ensures that everyone must know what he's capable of and stay caution of him.
    To his allies, he show them reliability but let they understand that if they turn their back on him, they would suffer something worse.
    Again his enemy, he ensures them that he's dangerous and they have to be careful of him, even when he has nothing in his hand.

    Biography:

    Early life and becoming a daimyo

    Ichiro was born into the Ueno family, their third son. As begin only a third son, he was just a retainer, aided his brothers for many years. His first brother, the rightful heir and head of the Ueno clan, died when he was 34 and the second brother became the head of the clan. It was not until he was already 54 that he was made daimyo due to his second brother death. No later, he showed that not only that he could succeeded his father and brothers but proved to be a more effective leader to the clan. He raised his land in all production, politic and military to be better than even his brothers or his father time.

    The rapid siege of Kawachi

    The Ueno Clan, who owned the Yamato Province, has been a long time rival to their neighbor from the west and lord of the Kawachi Province, the Yamada Clan. Two clans had been at war for generation until 20 years ago when both came with a peace agreement and split their border.

    In 1556, right after receiving the order defeat the tyrant Watanabe Yoshiro, Ueno was the first to publicly showed his support to the Shogun's family by declaring war to their long-time neighbor Yamada Clan, who's an ally to the Watanabe Clan at the time. He started an campaign to attack and seize the Yamada's three castles (Iimoriyama, Shigisan, Takaya) that lies near to each other. He began with leading his two army taking the first castle Iimoriyama on February 6th and was victory in the first week. In the next 3 weeks he engaged with Yamada's force.

    On March 10th, Lord Ueno finished the campaign by taking over the third castle Takaya and drove the Yamada away. This victory led to Ueno clan taking control of the Kawachi Province and drove the Yamada to their last stand in the west. Ichiro in this victory showed not only cunning tactics and his might in battle but also his talent in negotiating, a talent which he used to make an enemy's officer to betrayed their lord. After the battle Ueno clan became one of the biggest force that support the Shogun and Ueno Ichiro's known as one of the most powerful daimyo in the region.

    Specialty: Lord Ueno Ichiro has shown to be a brilliant ruler of his land and leader of his clan by having improved the influence of his clan greatly ever since he became daimyo. In war, he's both feared and respected as an exceptional strategist that managed to turn many battles around despite the odd, the rapid siege of Kawachi was an example. To subordinates, he's well-liked and respected for being closed and treat them like his family.

Tatsuya was not pampered with materialistic items nor was protected by his father from which he quickly learned how to protect himself and to not be put down by others. During a peasant uprising within the Kuroda domain, Tatsuya was appointed by his father to put down the uprising. Tatsuya proved himself worthy as he swiftly and effectively put down the uprising with the support of his bastard brother and fellow commanders. After the uprising, he quickly fixed the aftermath by focusing more resources into the welfare of the peasants. His father abruptly fell ill and died, leaving Tatsuya to become the next Daimyo at the young age of 22.

    Specialty: Being tutored by the best possible, Tatsuya is averagely skilled in most educational subjects as well as martial arts. The family combat weapon of the yari (spear) is deeply imprinted into Tatsuya’s technique and is quite skilled. He is recognizable on the battlefield by his blue yari “Sora”. Other than his above average skill with the yari, Tatsuya is a skilled logistics keeper. Keeping the supply within his domain in check as well as his people.

Biography:
Yuji was born out of Daichi Kuroda’s wedlock with a concubine. As such, he is usually looked down upon in the Kuroda’s court. Initially scornful of his father’s neglects after Tatsuya’s birth, Yuji eventually picked up the sword to honor his father’s death. He was later given commission of his own detachment of ashigarus by his brother during an uprising that had erupted because of his legitimacy within the Kuroda clan - of which he exiled himself to the northern mountains, before returning to Mina at the behest of his brother’s request. It was in the mountains, that Yuji learned the way of the sword. Over the years, Yuji developed his martial and strategic skills, being an avid reader and the curiosities of the sword. By training and working closely with his comrades-in-arms, Yuji eventually earns his station of respect via hard work and dedication to the clan. He is now the retainer of the Kuroda Clan, as well as one of its renowned commanding officers. He is married to Yui Tachibana, of whom have now been assigned as the diplomatic adviser of the Kuroda court.

Specialty:
Yuji is an ardent student of the martial arts and bushido. He is known for his distinguishable white linen-wrapped yari “Fuyu” (Winter), of which had been told to be imbued with the spirits of the mountain samurais. He is skilled with his spear and a moderately capable strategist. Aside from his skill with the spear, his zen training during his time in the mountains had given him expansive awareness of his surrounding. Yuji is your average samurai through and through. He is easily distinguishable by his white spear that accompany his steel-blue armor, cloak and bird-crest kabuto helmet.

    Personality: Xun is a free-spirited beauty who doesn't want to be tied down to anyone. As a girl who is content to roam wherever she fancies, she acts on her own volition without over-thinking the details. Xun is also clever, kind, and genuinely caring person. Xun is passionate for literature and even has a interest in writing . Aside from her interest in writing and reading prose, she also likes cooking. Xun would happily stand up to danger, even if she ends up getting hurt. She's the type to use her cleverness to her advantage, and thinking outside the box during a battle/fights. She also tends to always keeps her promises. Xun also tends to have a bit of a stubborn streak.

    Biography: The Fujimoto Clan is a quite old and very wealthy clan. For generations the clan leaders were the very respectful and quite traditional in the way they did things. But then came along Masami, he turned out to be more wild then other past leaders of the clan. He gambled, squandered his money and spent a lot of time drinking. He also was quite the ladies man. The other men who held high postions in the Clan were most unhappy with Masami. He was bringing a bad name to the Fujimoto Clan. They eventually just took over the work The Daimyo would do but even then they had little say since Masami was the one in charge. They would give advice to him in hopes he followed it.

    Masami also liked to travel but the only place he had been outside of Japan was China which the Fujimoto Clan had connections there. The last time Masami was in China he fooled around with a woman named Yi Ng. Who later became pregnant. Yi wrote a letter to Masami who disregarded it saying he had no need for a daughter the woman should of gave him a son. Of course his advisor was more concern with the fact Masami had just had bastard child. The men close to Masami went off on the man asking him how could he be so careless to have child like that. But for once and they weren't happy with this but maybe ignoring it was the best thing to do. The Fujimoto clan already had enough problems but having a illegitimate child would just make things worse. But they did advice Masami to at least write to Yi and explain the situation and even send some funds down her way but Masami never did it. Yi was left in the dark and never heard back from him. Years later the Fujimoto Clan continued to have it's bad reputation with it's Daimyo but then one morning a servant found him dead in his room. He had seemed to be murdered but by who no one was sure. Masami did have a lot of enemies but the Fujimoto Clan it's self would never kill their own leader. So it had to be outside work or it could of been one of their vessels. But no one knew for sure. But the Clan now needed a new Daimyo but he never married so would take over? Well the his advisor and his close men were the only ones who knew about the daughter Yi had it was never told to the rest of the Clan. So the advisor wrote letter to Yi and then headed off to China to go get the new Daimyo.

    Xun never knew much about her father. Her mother didn't like to talk about it. But it was quite clear Yi had been heart broken but luckily she did fall in love again this time with more stable man, named Jingyi Jiang, who cared about her very much. He was General. Xun had gained a interest in learning how to fight but she really didn't have anyone to teach her. She would watch the soldiers during their training and copy them. Her step father happen to notice Xun saw a lot of potential with her and took her under his wing. As she got older she grew up to be quite a talented fighter and was quite smart as well. She had grown interest in reading liked to come up with her own stories. The kids in her village would gather around her and she would spin a tale for them. Xun lived a pretty simple and good life but then one day her mother received a letter from the Fujimoto Clan and it seemed like Xun life was about to take a dramatic change. Of course at first Yi was against it. When the advisor showed up she refused to let Xun got with him but in the end Yi understood how important it was for the Fujimoto clan to have some one of the family blood line. So Xun left her home and went off to Japan to begin her new life. Which Xun had to admit she was little excited but at the same time nervous she knew it was going to be a big responsibility and her father had left the Fujimoto Clan in a bit of a mess and having a illegitimate child to come take over it didn't make things better. She had just arrive in Japan and what she doesn't realize that she's about to take on more then just Daimyo looks like she's about to be thrown into a war that she may not be quite ready for.

    Personality: Kagatame is an ambitious young man with dreams of greatness burned into his heart. He is determined to see that his clan not only thrives but rises to greatness by whatever means necessary. He has a tendency to be rather shortsighted on issues and pours almost all of his energy into one thing at a time. Many would himself as a mere replacement for his father, a son trapped following in the shadow of his father’s greatness. describe him as being exceedingly vain but those close to him know otherwise, in truth he sees

    Bio: Kagatame was born the eldest of two children to the Wild Boar of Musashi Nakane Moritame. Being the only son Kagatame from a young age was raised to become the next head of the Nakane clan. As well as being raised to lead he was trained in the art of horsemanship and combat just like all young boys of the Nakane were trained to do. He didn’t seem to have any talent in the area of ruling but his natural ability with horsemanship had earned him praise. Eventually at the age of ten he would gain a sibling in the form of Nakane Ayumi, his younger sister.
    In 1551 Nakane Moritame led an invasion into Sagami. Within a year the province fell under Nakane control with clans either peacefully surrendering or being forced into submission. The invasion was a huge success and Kagatame couldn’t wait to congratulate his father. However, fate had other plans as Nakane Moritame fell victim to a poison arrow shot from an assassins bow. This was a serious blow to the Nakane and it meant that the fifteen year old Kagatame would become daimyo.

    With Moritame’s death the anti Nakane clans in Sagami who still had the resources to fight rose up in reblellion in the winter of 1551 and it fell to Kagatame to lead his men. Lady Rinko Kagatame’s mother tried her best to keep Kagatame from going into battle but he would not be stopped. Taking up his Naginata and his father’s sword he mounted his horse and led to battle. By mid-summer of 1552 the rebels defeated and Kagatame stood victorious.

    He would spend the next four years doing his best to strengthen and uplift the Nakane from the despair of Moritame’s death. Still lacking in skill when it came to ruling lady Rinko took over as Kagatame’s civil advisor while Moritame’s best firend and practically a uncle to Kagatame stepped up as a military advisor. With the help of these two Kagatame was able to proudly join the Coalition of lords who wanted to stop the Watanbe’s conquest of Japan.

    Specialty: Superb Mounted fighter and skilled in combat with both sword and polearm.

Personality: Masamoto despite his age is very stern and scolds anyone that is not disciplined. Masamoto only drinks for special occasions like winning a battle. Masamoto has a great amount of ambition stored inside him and upon the death of the current Daimyo would seek to be Daimyo but of course, if his skills were lacking he would allow his older cousin to have the position as Daimyo. Masamoto is quite a warmonger but does still care for the men under his command. Masamoto would never disgrace or bring great shame to his clan. Masamoto does not like taking orders from Tatsuya and would rather follow orders from Kuroda Yuji. Masamoto believes Tatsuya is incompetent and believes that Yuji is a far better choice for the title of Daimyo, he believes that a bloodline dispute is not more important than the fate of our clan.

Biography: Masamoto is the younger than both of his cousins and looks up to the oldest of his two cousins Kuroda Yuji, and attempts to be like him but excludes being lazy. As a child Masamoto would spend a lot of time learning about the way of the sword like to be Daimyo of the Kuroda Clan but would not kill his brothers for it, Especially not Yuji but he has contemplated killing Tatsuya. Masamoto received training from one of the best swordsmen in Japan, Tetsuyama Matsukaze and exceeded in fighting with the common katana.

Specialty: Due to Masamoto being in the Kuroda Family was able to gain excellent knowledge about sword fighting and gain a lot of experience even before he was a retainer as well as being a good tactician. Masamoto is fearless and so are his men, all trained by the same man he was.

Alias:: Inui (Dog) - A nickname given by his lord for his loyalty

Gender: Male

Appearance: 6ft 0, long white hair and facial hair. Strong eyebrows and wrinkles around his deep eyes proves that he's still sharp despite having been through a long life of being a warrior for his lord.

Clan/Organization: Fujimoto Clan - Owari Province

Position: Retainer - Samurai

Personality: Keiji's known by many of his allies and lord to be a veteran warrior but still goes to every battle with a youthful spirit. Some admired such thing about him, other consider it his weakness - that his failing to see his own age would bring danger to himself one day. But despite their doubt, for years, Keiji has proven to be more capable than many other young samurai, he has been in more battles and slaying more generals than anyone can count. Now at his late age, he's shown not just skill but more experience and wisdom in the battlefield, which makes him even more deadly.

To his master, the daimyo of the Fujimoto clan, he shows the highest form of loyalty. For serving the clan for more than 50 years, through 3 generation of Fujimoto, Keiji already decided that his destiny would be to serve them until his death.

Bio: Keiji came from Mikawa, he initially served Mikawa's lord. In a conflict between Mikawa and Owari, he was challenged into a duel again the Fujimoto's general for a castle. The duel lasted for a day without a winner before both retreated to their camp. Went back to his lord, the Mikawa's daimyo was furious that Keiji wasn't able to win. He doubted his retainer loyalty for it and ordered him executed. But before the execution could've taken place, Fujimoto army assaulted the castle that night. Saw Keiji in the dungeon ready to be executed, Owari lord (Fujimoto Nobuyuki - Masami's father) recognized his talent from the duel and persuaded to serve him instead. Keiji was impressed by not only the Fujimoto's lord talent in war but also in how he treated his men as he agreed to serve for the Fujimoto. Ever since, he has served for the Fujimoto clan through 3 generations from Xun's grandfather - Nobuyuki, then his son and Xun's father Masami and now Xun herself. During that time, he has fought many battles and became one of the most important man within the Fujimoto clan.

Specialty: He's known as an elderly warrior that highly skilled in archery for the Fujimoto clan. Beside his archery skill, he's also a an excellent swordsman

Weapons of choice:
His signature hankyū bow and quiver.

His personal tachi for melee combat. It was said that this sword belong to a monk warriors clan in Owari, Keiji took it as a trophy in a campaign to repel their rebellion many years ago.

He's also armed with a wakizashi for display and other purposes.

Personality: Cunning as he is, Yoshiro-sama fully earned the nickname other daimyos have given him - The Tango Serpent. He is dangerously mad with power, ambitious yet ruthless again whoever stand on his way. Once a loyal and trusted man of the Shogun, he showed his real face as a tyrant when he use the next Shogun as a puppet and wage war again other clan. Yoshiro-sama is also greatly feared by his own man due to being bad tempered and usually treat his men cruelly.

Biography: Being one of the clan that stay closest to the capitol, the Watanabe clan was long-time loyal to the Shogun and it's daimyo - Watanabe Yoshiro was no exception. Watanabe Yoshiro offered his support toward the Shogun as much as he could. He was soon become a well-liked and trusted clan of the Shogun's family. It was rumored that the Shogun considered him more of a friend than a servant.

But when the shogun died, lord Yoshiro revealed his true intention. He was the first to march into Yamashiro, Kyoto with his army and quickly used his influence to install the only child of the Shogun as the new Shogun. As the child was only 6 years old, lord Yoshiro's intention was to use him as a puppet Shogun for war. With the shogun in his hand, Yoshiro led his army into war with many other clans. Ruthless and cruel in battle, his army by far have slaughtered through Tanba, Settsu and Tajima in the west.

In 1556, an order from the Shogun family was secretly sent to every daimyo in the country to stop the Watanabe.

Around the age of 13 she was then taught swordsmanship by her father and a sword master from the satsuma provinces who were well knows to have the finest swordsman of Japan. Around the same time being fascinated by the Europeans matchlock, she started being tutored by Europeans on how to use it and how useful it is by learning some of the European tactics. Around the age of Eighteen she was a expert in military tactics,swordsmanship,Machlock firearm,commerce, and diplomacy as she need to learn the politics. At the age of Nineteen was the age that changed her life. During her life, the clan was engaging multiple wars with the other clans as they wanted control of Bungo key resources and access to the Machlock. Her father was able to halt there offense as was planning to finish the war, however he was poisoned by a ninja hired by the rival clans in which he died. Soon after that she became the new Daimyo of the Mitsuyo Clan. When she became the new head she got right to work. Intergrating new tactics and offensives, she went straight on the offense using the Machlocks to wither the enemy down and then engage with her samurai. She also did hit and run tactics hitting there supply convoys and reinforcements. The rival clans send there untied army’s together to crush and take over Bungo. Engaging them on a flat plan, she used her Machlock well almost wipeing out there Calvary and killing a large portion of there armored warriors. She also uses her warriors to distract the enemy form the Machlock and when the enemy was weakened,they launch a large shock attack breaking there lines and cutting them down. At the end of the battle Almost the entire coalition of the rival clans army’s was wiped out. Over the next few months she finished of the clans one by one until finished the last clan at buzen. After the war she put Two deals to the clans that fought her people and also killed her father. The key clans such as buzen and Hugo became vassals and had to pay tribute and a military alliance. The others were forced to have a trade agreement with them in favor of her clan. In a short span she saved her clan, ended the war, as controlled much of the other clans either through commerce or military. At the age of twenty one as she creating a navel force she received a letter regarding the current head of the shogun. After reading the letter, she smiled and decide to take the opportunity to only to liberate the shogun from the wicked Watanabe Yoshiro, But also to use this opportunity to also spread the influence of the Mitsuyo Clan and to gain the support of the shogun.

Appearance: Standing at 5,5 Shugachi's long hair that he often puts in a ponytail and snow white skin give him the appearance of a girl. Yet under his armor one would countless scars which symbolise his position in the clan.images-160.jpeg

Clan/Organization: Oniware a mercenary clan made up of those with no where else to go they are often referred to as demons due to their bloodlust for battle and ruthlessness in combat. Oniware live for a single purpose it isn't gold, or fame, it is solely for the excitement of battle. Oniware don't fight for ideals or dreams they fight to win just so they can fight again.

Position: The Oniware have what they call their Demon Generals the top three warriors in the clan which handle orders, settling deals, and are the face of the clan. Shugachi is one of these generals while all three share the same amount of power within the clan Shugachi is seen as the brains of it all leaving him to have the final say in what the clan shall do.

Personality: Shugachi is as he appears he is very distant and cold to others. Although that is only a facade if one simply pushes the right they will find Shugachi had a very short fuse. Once Shugachi is angry not much can calm him down except for restricting him. A job normally left up to Mizuaki who is also the one who normally puts him in such a state. In combat Shugachi holds onto his calm cool mask much better. Able to stay cool no matter how much Mizuaki teases him. He seems to find joy in fights like Mizuaki only he gets it from simply crushing his foes.

Shugachi is also aware and self conscious of the fact he looks like a girl. Like Mizuaki he too will drop in mood when the fact is pointed out. It is sometimes used as a means to calm his rage as he loses all want to feel anything. His cold nature does not reflect his opinion on his clansmates as he does care for them and does show respect for leaders who he thinks are smart.

Biography: One of the few born into the Oniware family Shugachi was trained from a young age to fight. He found he was very good at it and swore to rise up and become leader of the clan. Solely because he thought the position was cool as he got older though his dream changed. No longer did he want to be leader he simply wanted to leave a peaceful and quiet life. He goal is to make enough money to buy a nice house and live out the rest of his days in luxury. When they had found Mizuaki he thought the sorry look in her eyes was pathetic to fix this he would often glare at her. He simply didn’t like her face but he found this had the opposite effect he was expecting as Mizuaki soon became his best friend.

Specialty: Shugachi is the best swordsmen in the Oniware clan his specialty being duel wielding swords, he is also the strategist of the clan and is capable of thinking things through even under intense situations.

Position: One of the Demon Generals of the Oniware in charge of a group of spearmen called The Demon's Fangs

Personality: Mizuaki is 100 percent the nicest member of the Oniware clan often seen smiling and joking around. While she might seem harmless in combat her true nature is shown. Mizuaki seems to find the greatest join in life when she is in the heat of combat her life on the line. For this she was given the nickname “Takemika” short for Takemikazuchi-no-kami. She is also self conscious of the fact she looks like a boy. When it is brought up Mizuaki’s mood is clearly downed.

Mizuaki thinks of the Oniware clan and those in it as her family. Often trying to make those in it proud of her by doing anything she can to prove herself in a fight. She tends to tease and bug Shugachi finding joy in upsetting them.

Biography: Mizuaki was found in the woods by a group of bandits when she was 6. Her parents seemed to of just left her not having the money to support the extra mouth. The bandits took her in and put her to work. Having her lure unsuspecting individuals into the woods only for the bandits to rob and most likely murder them. As she got older they begin having her join in the killing when all the bandits would fall asleep Mizuaki would train in secret. All in preparation to kill the bandits in their sleep. Lucky for her Oniware did it for her the mercenaries were hired by a local village to kill the bandits. Finding Mizuaki they decided to take her in at first Mizuaki’s guard was up. Her plan hadn’t changed the number of corpse had just risen and the target changed. She was still planning to kill them all in their sleep no matter how many there were.
That changed when she met Shugachi when she looked into his eyes she saw herself in them. She felt the people here understood her and she began seeing the clan as her family. She now hopes to make them all proud on in their newest mission of helping the Shogunate. After the war is all said and done Mizuaki hopes to spend her pay on tons of sweets.

Specialty: Mizuaki prides herself as the strongest when it comes to wielding a spear among the Oniware she also has an ace up her sleeve in the form of a knife that she keeps hidden in a holster on her back which she uses to surprise enemies who think they've gotten too close for her to attack.

Personality: Tachibana like all other Oniware lives for battle and was an outcast with no where to turn. Aside from that Tachibana is a playful gal who can’t help but get under people’s skins. She seems to find great joy in teasing her fellow Oniware members. Her favorite targets being Shugachi and Mizuaki often calling herself and them the Demon Generals of Oniware. Everyone else in the clan along with her other so called Demon Generals think the name is dumb. She can’t help but find enjoyment in picking off enemies one by one from afar with her bow. Like one by one smashing a bunch of ants with her foot.

Biography: In a situation similar to Mizuaki her parents couldn't afford to feed her. Unlike Mizuaki though she was sold off already knowing how to fend for herself. Coming from a hunter clan she was a great shot with a bow. The bandits used her as a way of taking out those who were running away again the Oniware were tasked with taking these bandits out. Unlike Mizuaki once again when they had found the bandits base all the bandits were already dead. Tachibana stood around their bodies with a smile on her face. It was then Tachibana asked to be a member of the Oniware meeting Shugachi and Mizuaki who she quickly gained a love/hate relationship with.

Specialty: An expert with the bow Tachibana calls herself the Spider Demon since she able to quickly climb up almost any climbable surface. From there she is able to hit targets with great precision strangely she seems to have an easier time hitting targets that are running from her.

Ōshanrabā Daisetsu

Character Synopsis

Daisetsu is a Japanese male, thirty one years old, 5'7, who is a young Daimyo of the Ōshanrabā clan who is largely wealthy due to his clans placement. He is native to Awaji province and his father was the previous Daimyo.

Clan/Organization

The Ōshanrabā Clan is located in Awaji province and it's small surrounding islands, it is a trading hub due to it's close proximity to all three major Japanese islands, and is also a large naval power.

It commonly uses warships for any real, serious battle, although it is not without infantry in it's ranks, most infantry are trained well due to their small amount although they are still rather mediocre.

It's most common units are naval longbowmen who fire arrows from the safety of Japanese Galleons, another common unit type are Ashigaru pikemen which are used with great efficiency in capturing and holding points.

Daimyo - Ōshanrabā Clan

Personality

Ōshanrabā Daisetsu is still a child at heart because of his pampered upbringing, and has not had to deal with many actual problems. This makes him seem arrogant and bored at most times because of his inexperience.

However, Daisetsu carries a big heart, and does genuinely seem to care for his subjects and so will fight tooth and nail for their safety and wellbeing in an attempt to seem like a capable daimyo.

Biography

In his childhood Daisetsu was sheltered and constantly showered with love, he was given a formal education and his father even attempted to appoint him as a retainer, however Daisetsu seemed more interested in the trade of goods than battle and so he became a treasurer for his father in his teens.

When Daisetsu turned twenty-five he was greeted by the sudden and untimely death of his mother to disease, his father died soon after in a fishing accident and Daisetsu was overcome with grief, he was thrust into the light of the public and the expectations of his father were passed onto him, only causing him to run his clan in the most decent way he can. He doesn't want to be a memorable daimyo, his only wish being that he runs the province well enough that everything stays fine.

Now six years afterwards, Daisetsu is doing his job much better than before and has been able to exceed expectations, he is still shaken from how quickly he was made daimyo, however he has learned to love his job, and especially love his people.

Specialty

Daisetsu is a royally trained bowman, he was, at one point in training to become a samurai, however his skills have gotten rusty after the years.

A more relevant skill is his relationships with people, he is the Daimyo of a fairly wealthy province and so, can find material gifts for his guests much easier than most. Especially with Awaji's naval significance.

Weapon of choice

The only weapon Daisetsu carries on himself at any time is a ceremonial Katana, made heavy with the amount of decorations on it, and dulled to encourage serious, and not playful use of it. The best it could be used for is parrying, and even that's a stretch.

(Either way Katanas are trash though so lmao.)​

Hisakawa Riko has a sharp mind, always careful and attentive at everything. With her cold gaze and silent voice, she instantly puts off strangers. That isn't to say she has morals, but she isn't a priestess either. She's willing to get her hands dirty, but would always make sure her fights are fair, or at least isn't blatantly unequal. The Hisakawa Clan is a clan of retainers for the Fujimoto Clan. For generations, they served each Lord of Owari faithfully, serving as one of the leading clans under the Fujimoto rule. They have helped to maintain and expand upon Fujimoto's wealth, being a political and military advisor. Due to the recent relative peace, the Hisakawa clan is moved to grooming political advisors, both in inter-clan relations and in civil administration.

Hisakawa Riko was raised to take on the political and civil duties of the Fujimoto Clan. Her parents had assumed that any child of that bastard Masami would be just as bad as their parent, and as such, they trained their daughter more on politics than any other in the family. She lived a relatively strict life, following her parents word. While the main focus was on politics, she picked up archery as a way to practice some combat. Riko had one younger brother she would care for whenever it was needed.

When Riko turned 14, she began to be brought to meetings with other vassals and retainers, as well as civil duties, where she was slowly introduced to be the leading retainer of the next master. Both the fact that the illegitimate child was a female and close in age to Riko helped to solidify the family's argument against other retainers. Eventually it was settled that she would serve alongside the Shibata clan, each with their respective specialties. Riko herself didn't mind, as she knew it was what she was bound to do. And so, when news of Masami's death and Xun's departure to Japan came, Riko prepared herself to serve her new master.​

Hisakawa Riko's specialty is in her political advice and civil administration. She has provided many cunning (and yet fair) political advice for the Owari Province, as well as carefully watched the political climate of Japan. Her eyes pierce through her opponent in every negotiation. It isn't wrong to say that she sometimes wins arguments through intimidation. While she has some skill at the bow, combat isn't her area of expertise.​

    Position: Left Hand of the Council

    Personality: In a normal situation Hayate likes to stand back and listen and observe before speaking up and presenting his points. Many people say that he is the more dangerous of the twins because you can't tell if he is angry with you. His father called him the little ocean because a calm surface can hide all manner of terror beneath the surface. He also follows the Tenants of clan much closer than his sister and if he gives in to fight someone with honour it's because he has already found a way to ensure it doesn't come to that. Hayate also finds in fairly easy to adopt different personalities as the situation demands, be it a friendly and outgoing one to gain friends or a more regal and refined one to take part in negotiations.

    Bio: He was born 20 minutes after his sister and 2 hours before the stress of their birth took their mother's life. They were raised then by there father and the rest of the clan because while their father did not hate them he decided that since they had cost him his wife then they would be the best they could possibly be to honour her memory. Hayate trained hard and began to spend long periods of time with the healers it seemed obvious to him that if something could give life it could take it away just as easily, to aid this he petitioned the blacksmiths of the Kita to make a number of arrows that were not designed to only pierce but tear and inject, these arrows have since been named viper arrows for even being skimmed by one can lead to great pain and often death.

    Hayate continued his time in the woods growing to know the sounds of the trees and animals as his sister grew to know the soldiery, he became an excellent Tracker finding trails and tracks that few others had hope of spotting. A chance encounter with a bear left him crawling back to the nearest outpost bloodied but unbroken, however it marked the start of him being saddled with an escort whenever he journeyed to far from an outpost, courtesy of his sister. Deciding that it wouldn't do to have this escort blundering around blindly while he was hunting quarry, or even trying his hand at infiltration as he was want to do, he trained them as he trained, in the cold harsh gaze of the mountains. This lead to the birth of the Kita Rangers.

    After a few years the left hand of the council died due to an infected wound and in light of his sister being elevated not 10 months prior it was decided that he would serve as the left. His promotion lead to changes in what is now called the fingers of the hand, while before they were simply clansmen who travelled and gathered information Hayate recalled them and ensured they were trained in the more subtle arts of infiltration and information gathering as well as passing on some of his own knowledge of the various toxins and poisons that can be found throughout Japan.
