hello! i go by selkie here on the internet, and this here is my partner search on rpnation. i'll be editing this every so often to fit what i'm looking for at any given time.
About Me
as i previously mentioned, i go by selkie. i'm 18 years old, about to graduate. i'm genderfluid, so i'm switching up pronouns a lot at any given time. asking is much appreciated, but i'll try to leave some indicator in a bio in different platforms. i have obsessive-compulsive disorder. i live in the central standard timezone, and i only really speak english.
my response times may be a little erratic, depending on my mood and how busy i am. if i take more than a week or two, remind me. i'll generally be more active in ooc chatter. the length of my responses may also vary - i consider myself semi-literate, and i can write up to three paragraphs on a regular basis, but sometimes i find that shorter responses make more sense (e.g. during dialogue), and i'm trying to not pressure myself into writing super long messages. it drives me into a blockage pretty easily if i force myself to write more than i really can naturally.
i do have a couple triggers, mainly relating to horror. horror is the one genre i absolutely cannot do. it exacerbates certain mental illnesses of mine, and it's just not a fun time for anyone. i enjoy macabre themes, but i can't have full-on horror (think the exorcist, grady hendrix, etc.). real-world superstitions, especially relating to religion or widespread haunting stories, are big nos for me.

this is a somewhat abbreviated list, but it's the most important stuff and i already sorta outlined the rest in my about me.

i am a fandom roleplayer! i only do original plots with people i know better for personal reasons. here, i'll list my fandoms, who i'd like to write, and who i'd like to write against. i'll just be listing my top priorities, i can write pretty much anyone in said fandom as long as i have a good grasp on them, there are just some i enjoy more than others. i have writing examples and such in a google doc, ask for that if you want it.
