Relationships:

Eddie: Dated in school, before she came out. She actually owes a lot to the rascal. He showed her his kind side and used his charm to her advantage. Granted it ended up winning his house the House Cup, so things evened out.

Trey: Trey’s family warned him to stay away from her, but that did not mean that he did not see the need to help her. He even fought for her ‘honah’ when it looked like Eddie dumped her. She is fond of the little bookworm, but not too fond. After all, he took Riri.

Harriet: The first real friend she made outside of Eddie or her girlfriends. She intends to keep her as a friend. After all she doesn’t give a damn what Selena’s name is or what it means, and that means the world to her.

Riri: Love at first sight, that was painfully torn away. Still, the girl seems nice enough, and was kind to supply her, kinda, with a dress to the Welcome Ball, so she’s ok enough in Selena’s book. More okay than most people at any rate.

Appearance: A slender, tanned young woman with black hair and eyes. Eyes that seem untrusting and quiet. She never tries to stand out, preferring to be in the middle of the pack. That may change with this new school. Still she is pretty and the people here don’t know the stain of her name, so she’s more likely to come out of her shell here.

History: Selena is a black sheep in a family that prides itself on blood. After refusing to provide a suitable heir after her parents’ failed coup attempt, she was cut off from the family. She lived in her family estate, learning to care for herself all through her 6th and 7th year. She hates people who think blood is what defines you. You are yourself in her eyes, not your family or blood status. She grew up in a dark house, with her family teaching her that her parents were noble, but foolish. They should have waited for Voldemort to finish the Potter boy, then use his help in the coup. Instead they are on the run. Thankfully they either cared enough or too little about their young daughter and left her behind.

Selena broods a lot about how her family treated her. As a thing. Property. Only useful to squeeze out another Pureblood. She is now glad that any offspring she may have would be useless in their eyes. At least they would not use him or her in foolish power games. Let the Two-Birds name die for all she cares.
