Help Seem to be getting inconsistent notifications

Ever since the site switched over again, I have been getting rather inconsistent notifications and emails from the RPs I am in. I have all the threads I want watched, and all the "email me" things checked, and I have double checked alert preferences, yet I might receive like, maybe one every two weeks, even if there is a ton of activity. I am totally fine with being sent a ton of emails.

On the "flag notifications" that appear on the top right, I will always get a notification from a staff post if there is one, and might get some for some threads every now and then, but it seems inconsistent. It's caused me to fall behind in some of my roleplays, and to not be notified when people are waiting on me. Even if someone tags Vaneheart , it might not always show up.

I hope this is something simple, like I didn't check a box or something.

You'll only get notified once for every thread that needs notifying. Even if fifty people reply, you'll still only have one alert. You have to actually go to the thread to 'reset' the system so that you get notified again when someone posts. You can find all your unread watched threads here or under the Forums section of the nav bar.

Just make sure you're watching the thread and people tag you, that's about all you can do. If there is a thread you really like, it pays to check it regularly even if you're doing everything you can. ​
