Multiple Settings Seeking Writing Companion

In the past I feel like I have done my best writing alongside others, and at the moment none of my old partners are available or interested in writing anymore.

Thus I would like to find someone, or multiple someones, who might be interested in collaborative storytelling, one on one or group GMing.
I prefer sci-fi, often warfare, and running multiple characters personally, but I am adaptable to other peoples' interests as well.

To be brief, one of my settings is set in a space-age Human society run by megacorporations throughout space. A rebellion is brewing, and the corporations are preparing to break the peace between themselves as well. Technologically space travel is still very slow and most combat is undergone on planets, with a mixture of infantry, armour, and 'Mech forces, similar to Mechwarrior. All Humans for now, but I enjoy the character interaction in the midst of things.

I have a higher tech setting with various aliens, less war-oriented. Usually set about on a research station somewhere, more in line with espionage, potentially horror, or just various goings-on on and around the station, or what have you.

If neither of those sound appealing we can discuss something else. I'll be out of town over the weekend but I'll be back around Monday evening.

I think an interest check thread might be more appropriate, the way this is going. I'll flesh out one of the ideas I'd brought up there and link it in here when I get it rolling.

Concerning your idea, i think we can incoprerate both. Though more of the former than the later to add that unkown element here and there

I can work with that. The setting is actually the same, but with the aliens and such arriving later on. If you think playing some manner of alien from the start would be more appealing, then we can begin later, albeit in a peaceful or warlike period as preferred.

Well, the human conflict, i think would be a good start. Especially with the varying megacorporations taking whatever ground they can against their competitors. Me personally, i have no real preferences other than some gosh darn good action and exploration lol

Excellent. That period is right when I've been wanting to write about, and I think a lot of interesting things can go on there.

I read the thread and i must say, im very impressedand anxious to begin, but we'll wait and see if anyone else is interested
