The World of Ayadeen as we know it truly started with the waking. The mortal races were victims of terrifying creatures, curses, demons, supernatural items. Until eventually a woman named Cerith August learned how to harness magic. Magic had previously been something not of understanding, a unpredictable and unharnessed force. One that monsters, curses, demons and otherworldly beings had access to, then it became one of understanding through innovation and understanding.
Great Cities and Kingdoms were forged that could provide society a safe place from the horrors of the world. There the races of Ayadeen could forge society through innovation and hard work. Outside the Kingdoms are the vast dangerous lands of Ayadeen. Only a Seeker is permitted to leave the cities. While only a seeker is permitted to leave the Kingdoms there are however many who simply choose to risk it and live away from society; villages, small towns, groups of people and much more is to be found in the vast unknowns of Ayadeen.
A Seeker is one who chooses to train themselves to be able to leave the Great Kingdoms to find materials, slay monsters, deliver messages to other kingdoms. A seeker can have a wide variety of tasks given to them by their Kingdom.
Valora is the largest Kingdom of Ayadeen. It is ruled by King Antonnio Valora and the Royal Family. Valora is divided into four major cities.
The largest and richest city within Valora, it is where most of the nobility of Valora lives and it also contains the Royal Castle. The Rich live in the higher sector while merchants and commoners live in the lower streets.
Darkwood a gothic secondary city where many nobles also live. Darkwood has a much higher disparity between the rich and poor and the crime rate of Darkwood is extremely high.
Darkwood lacks many of the technological innovations within Highstone and people rely more on alchemy and ritualism.
Kaokotoka a small city where many clubs, bars, shops and other attractions lay. It was founded by foreigners from Jitoshaku, another kingdom in Ayadeen.
Plentwood a village on the outskirts of Valora, most Faeya live here. It is also where most of the food within Ayadeen is grown by the farmers of Plentwood.
Aurumancy is the use of gold, one of the only types of naturally occuring non cursed materials that naturally can be used as a conduit to magic. It's by far the most common type of magic and the most well understood. Through the use of gold it can be incorporated into technology and science to create machinations that can utilize or be powered through magic.
Alchemy is the use of magical materials, usually from monsters or beings that possessed magic capabilities. It usually takes form in chemicals or potions that one consumes in order to gain magical properties for a limited time. Through the use of alchemy one crafts these draughts by mixing together chemicals or materials to create magical reactions that create draughts. It is quite new in the world of magic due to the difficulty of obtaining said materials.
Arcanism a inherent form of magic that is both ancient and rare. About less than ten percent of the population has the ability to inherently cast magic through the use of appealing to various gods or by utilizing the natural laws of magic itself. Someone who practices Arcanism will usually require a teacher because it is more innate and requires hard work and practice to master.
Ritualism the least understood form of magic. It involves those use of curses or cursed items. Some who are cursed may be able to perform innate magic similar to Arcanism although it is much wilder and unpredictable in nature. Cursed items however can be quite powerful and dangerous and can often be as harmful as they are useful. Someone who is cursed or possesses cursed items may fall under negative effects depending on the type of curse. A curse often originates from demons or other supernatural beings.

Some Praeya look very much like humans with a few animal body parts while others can look more beast-like in nature. Praeya usually have greater senses than humans and some can even be somewhat stronger than a human.
Praeya have the ability of nearly perfect vision, whether it be day or night. There are many different species of Praeya, however they are all recognized as Praeya due to their animal like characteristics.
are beings that originated from another dimension. After their home dimension was conquered by demons, they retreated to Ayadeen and made their home here. Of course not everyone still welcomes them with open arms. While they left their dimension over five centuries ago, many are not old enough to have been around when it happened. Fae are characterized by often having wings and their various colored skin.
Faeya are capable of flight over small distances and are often described as quite beautiful. Most Fey do inherently have Arcanic Magic although it isn't uncommon for a Fae to be born without innate magical capabilities. Most Fae are followers of the Faith of Luna, where they worship the Goddess Etluna, the goddess of the moon within the Faith of Luna.
Haeya, also known as humans are the most common race on Ayadeen. They typically only live about a century although they are widely versatile. Some of the greatest and worst of Ayadeen are often humans. They play a part in every job, every role throughout society.
About one-fourth of every Haeya possesses innate magic however many humans are practitioners of the other forms of magic.

Durians are man-made machines, capable of thought and possessing their own personalities. Durians were originally meant to be used as free labour however they would revolt in the Machine war and ended up gaining their own freedom. Many durians would still decide to do paid work for the purpose they were created for, however many would carve their path and pick up whatever work or purpose they ascribed to themselves. As durians are machine they are incapable entirely of innate magic, however they are magical powered through each one having a gold core. They are capable of upgrading themselves or having someone upgrading them to add more mechanical parts to fit various purposes.

So what kind of RP will Seeker be? I want Ayadeen to be a world where the strange happens, the discourse of political events is common, one where all types of myths and rumors are often true to some extent. Perhaps a demon is being summoned on one street and a murder mystery is happening on another. Outside the kingdom of Valora, it is unpredictable, perhaps a coven of vampires lurks inside a strange forest, or a evil cult proclaiming their own god exists is trying to create a new world order.
I am heavily inspired by Arcane, Game of Thrones, Attack on Titan and RWBY and many more with this RP, so i will be drawing inspiration from alot of different fandoms.
You are free to write what kind of character you want and I want us to have a discord server for OOC and news related to the RP. Characters will be over the age of 21 for this RP.
Not every character has to be a seeker however there may come a point where we do have to leave Valora at times and venture out into the unknown world.
