The Fortis City, one of the largest cities in the area. This city is best known for it's action filled days, as crazy occurrences happen daily. People are left to ponder what or who is behind all of it. Even if law enforcement has all the weapons you could think of, they still don't have the upper hand. It's up to the bravest and strongest of the willing citizens to find out.

Lydia Hollenworth

Location: Norm Division - Orphanage

Time: 7 AM

Weather: Unusual Cloudy Day

Lydia wondered the halls of the Stanridge Orphanage. She had woken up somewhat early and seemed to be the only one up. Lydia went downstairs to the main floor, for her room was located on the third floor. When she got to the main floor she noticed one of the caretakers of the orphanage sitting in a rocking chair. Lydia approached the woman and tapped her shoulder. The woman looked at Lydia and smiled.

"Good morning child." she said as she then stood up. Lydia nodded before going to the kitchen. She got an apple and returned upstairs. Lydia thought now was a good time to head to the Resistance hideout. The city still seemed to be asleep, for it was the weekend.

When Lydia got to her room, she made sure not to wake her roommate and got dressed and then grabbed a backpack with several books in it. She put on her backpack then went downstairs. Lydia walked up to board with all the children's names on it and had buttons next to them. Lydia pressed her button till it turned yellow. Yellow meant she was out. Lydia then went to the front doors of the orphanage and quietly snuck out. Once she was outside she walked casually to avoid drawing attention. Now all she had to do was get to the hideout unnoticed.

Mason got punched in the gut, skidding backwards in the ally. "Hey Outcast. Do something won't you?" A guy spat at him. He was bleeding from his head and arms. He knew if he fought back in this area he risked being shot dead. "I won't." He hissed as another man elbowed the back of his head and Mason hit the wall before the guy smashed his head into the dirty bricks and dragged him across before swinging him off the wall, causing him to fall on the ground in a puddle. "We'll return later to collect ya shit and torture you. Don't. Move." A bigger guy lifted him up and stabbed his hands, going right througb them as he hung the orange haired boy to the wall. The guys departed, laughing after they took pictures. "I'll die here in peace if i must. Thats when they return if they actually do..." Mason croaked.

Lydia wondered a bit as she was walking. She noticed a group of men walked away from an alleyway. She looked at them closely. They seemed to be a bit dirty, and they were talking about returning to the alley. For what though? Lydia waited till the men had disappeared from sight. She walked down the alleyway. It was very dark and seemed like a fight had happened. There was blood too. Lydia became very concerned. She walked further down the alley until she noticed a boy. He was badly injured and was hung to the wall. Lydia ran over to the boy and tried to get him down. Lydia couldn't use her magic in front of this man. What if he told the leader of the Norms? Lydia managed to get him down and noticed his stab wounds. She removed dirt from the wounds and then ripped a bit of her skirt before wrapping his hands with the cloth.

Lydia stood up and reached into her backpack. She was about to dial for the police when she took a better look at the boy. There was something about him that wasn't normal. She didn't want him to go through more torture. She sad by the boy.
"Who are you, and why are you in the norm division? Also who were those guys?" Lydia asked.

Mason winced as he was taken down and his hands were wrapped. "I'm.. I'm a outcast. You shouldn't be helping me." Mason hissed as he slowly got up. His shirt was ripped in the front, a cut along his twelve pack. "Thanks for getting me down but you shouldn't be around me." The kid coughed. On his pantleg he had sewn his name in orange. Mason Flames.

Lydia ignored the boy about not being around him. She looked at his leg and saw his name was sewn in orange.
"Mason Flames..." she muttered as she stood. "Well I am here, and you are going to have to put up with me. If you're an outcast then I have every right to be around you." Lydia continued. "Look, I can't just have you running around Fortis in the wrong division. If someone found out you're screwed!" she said sternly. Lydia was debating on what to do with the boy.

"They already knew that." Mason stood and started going off. "You have to go. I'll be perf-ECTLY! Fine." Mason gritted his teeth as his ribs finally broke from the crack in them. He couldn't heal as quick but he would still heal.

Lydia sighed. She looked behind her, and no one was around. She also ran down the alleyway, temporally abandoning the boy, and saw that the alleyway took several turns and went on for a while. Lydia returned and made sure no one was around again before holding her hand out to the boy. She wasn't going to help him up, but she was going to help him.
"Surface..." she said before a glowing magic circle appear below Mason. "This will make the trip easier for you." Lydia said. The magic circle levitated and Mason along with it. The circle was solid and was holding Mason up from the ground since she could tell he was in no condition to move. "I'll have the healer at the hideout help heal you." she said as she began walking down the alley, and the magic circle followed behind. "You are to behave and cooperate. Anything other and there will be consequences."

"Magic user in the Norm then. Figures as much. And a member of the resistance as well." He sighed. "Look... I could kill you. Why trust me?" Mason asked. 'She wouldn't be that bad of a fighter with training. Oh well.' The kid thought as he snorted what seemed like gray smoke but it vanished quickly.

Lydia ignored him more until he talked about the fact that he could kill her. She muttered under breath and her fist began to glow. She knew the risk she was taken using magic openly and helping an outcasted, for there are reasons they are called that.
"I am fairly aware of that. I am helping you cause you could be of use." she retorted as she looked down another alleyway, no one was around and she continued. They were nearing the hideout now.

"Of use? For what? Becoming a sparring partner?" He asked irratibly. "If ya think i'd do it i probably would." He grinned at the thought of training others and beating them without too much pain.

Lydia Hollenworth

Location: The Hideout

Lydia listened to him as she walked and as he finished his sentence she a had reached the hideout.
"You won't be doing any of that. We will obviously question you first. After that it's up to Imana to decide what happens to you." Lydia said smiling. She opened the door to an abandoned building and entered closing the door once Mason was in. She walked up a few flights of stairs till she got to the fifth floor.

When she reached the floor there were only two people there. Zachary was there and a girl who was the record holder of the resistance. Zachary approached her with a big cocky grin on his face.
"Who the heck is this guy?" he asked as he looked at Mason. "... The housewife of Jesus." Lydia said before walking to a door and knocking. A woman said to enter and Lydia entered. When she was in she snapped her fingers and the magic circle landed on the ground before disappearing. There stood a woman with brown hair and red eyes. She glared at Mason before walking over to him. Lydia bowed before leaving the room.

(Imana and Zachary's CS will be short and sweet and posted soon.)

{/|\Mason/|\}

Mason cracked his elbow then neck. "I just had to float here and look helpless..." Mason sighed as a girl walked up to him. "Why such a harsh glare? Is it because i was dragged here even though i'm an outcast?" He asked as he stood there. If he had too, he'd escape.

Imana Keith

Location: Office at the Hideout

Imana shrugged as she went back to her desk.
"You look like crap, I had a feeling that Lydia just acted out of instinct. Then again she could've just decided this over turning you in." Imana said as she sat in her chair and rested her elbows on her desk. "I can tell you aren't the one to pick fights unless provoked. Don't worry, I have no intentions of killing you. If I did I would've already had you shot." Imana said as she pointed to a bookshelf. She pulled on a book and the bookshelf moved revealing a young boy with a gun. He had a perfect view of the office. "With a simple hand signal he would've fired." Imana then smiled at the boy and he took his gun and himself out of the room.

Imana closed the bookcase and looked at Mason.
"Why is an Outcast like you here in the Norm Division?" she asked.

"Ooo. Sneaky punk. Sorry but i smelled another in the room in his direction." He winked as she asked a question. "I walked a woman and her children home after her small ones almost got killed by a ice user." Mason stated. "Why ask anyways?" He looked at the woman in her eyes. He knew now he had to be serious.

"You didn't answer my question. Though I see we have a feral magic user, huh? I'll just send some of my strongest out tonight to search." Imana said as she looked at Mason. "Mason Flames, I have rights to believe you are here to cause trouble. If that is not the case, you are to stay with the Resistance until you can prove you are no threat. Your identity as an outcast will be kept secret. I must say though, you have every right to decline my proposal." Imana said as she pulled out a paper from a folder. The room shook a bit and she could hear a male and female fighting over something trivial. She ignored it for it was common for her followers to fight and spar.

Of course Imana was observant of Mason's odd behaviour, like the ability to smell one's presence. She had her arms crossed as she looked at the paper on the desk. It was an agreement paper, one used for when someone comes to join the alliance. Then they will receive another paper later on that says whether they have been accepted or not.

Mason signed the paper. "Now what? Shall you force me to pleasure you?" He asked jokingly as he grinned. "Or shall i go break up the fighters and have them try and beat me?" the teen suggested.

Imana took the paper and placed it in a different folder before standing.
"I rather you not interfere, but feel free to watch. I have a feeling it's two of my strongest four." She said with a smile before getting up and opening the door. As she did she activated a shield to protect herself as multiple shards and lightning strikes went flying towards her and she closed the door to keep Mason safe until he had some method to protect himself, but of course she was cautious about leaving him alone.

Mason followed behind the lady and the second he shut the door he got struck by lighting. "OKAY THAT'S IT!" Mason shouted. "Whoever did it, you'd better own up quick. If not, i'll find ya myself and i'll do more then send a little lighting into your veins." He hissed. People had to control their magic instead of using straight up brute force.

Imana Keith

As Mason got struck, Imana had separated the two fighters. It was Lydia and the boy Mason had seen earlier.
"Mason, one attack from you and you will face punishment like these two." Imana said as she was holding Lydia up by the back of her shirt and keeping the boy away by stepping on his back. "Zachary, just make this easy and apologize." Imana asked as she looked at him.

Zachary Monifield

Zachary looked at Mason with a pissed off look.
"Can it, Outcast!" he yelled at him as he squirmed under Imama. He still had the urge to settle things with Lydia and sent an electric current through his body. He was unaware Imana had a shield up and this prevented the current to get to Lydia. "Damn..." he muttered.

Lydia Hollenworth

Lydia stuck her tongue out at Zachary then glared at Mason. She was still in a fighting spirit but knew further provocation would only make their punishment worse. Though the punishment given to them doesn't sound bad, it really is. Feral Hunting. Feral Hunting was one of the punishments given, and if requires Resistance members to hunt down a feral magic user till they are exterminated. They have five days, and if the extermination doesn't happen, the member is then give twice the work than usual.

"I say. You seem like you are the cocky type." Mason seemed to have healed alot more. "If you'd like to try and make me be quiet, we can go. You'll find i'm not as weak as i look." Mason smirked, heat rolling off his body. "Punish me with Feral hunting huh? When i was alot younger someone tried that. Let me remember... Suzanna and Zaviak was it...? It don't matter. I couldn't control myself and they roasted along with the guys who tried to kill me. See. You gotta control your magic before someone you care about gets hurt." Mason let the heat on him die down. "Try and attack if you get permission. Your lighting won't do what you plan."

"Mason!" Imana yelled at him. "Not another word." she said before dropping Lydia and getting off Zachary. "You two go get ready." Imana said before hugging them both. She smiled before looking at Mason. "It's common for people to fight here, they aren't really cold and heartless. They just get caught up in the moment." Imana then thought of something. "For your punishment of provoking him, you will watch over them. You don't have to get involved, just make sure they don't fight tonight." she said. "First off, they will track their Feral by day and then attempt the execution by night." Imana said to inform him before returning to her office.

Zachary Monifield

Zachary walked with Lydia to the training room. Both teens had melee weapons. Zachary's was a sword. It was lightweight but powerful when he combined his lightning with it. He looked over at Lydia. She got out her bow and put on her quiver.
"Are you sure bringing that outcast here was a good idea?" he asked as she stretched. He was concerned with Mason's presence. He was also concerned about his behaviour which wasn't human at all.

Lydia Hollenworth

"He'll be of use to us. We can ask him about all the occurrences. More so why magic users are turning feral and attacking the innocence, and why monsters randomly appear." Lydia said as she left the training room before returning to where they had faught. "We'll be waiting outside." she said before walking down the stairs to the main floor.

{/|\Mason/|\}

Mason hung by the underside of his kness from a tree awaiting the two. "Oh hey! Seems i gotta watch you both." He commented as he dropped down, twisting to land on his hand and knees like someone mimicing a frog before he stood up, dusting off his hands. "Hunting the iced user? If it is, He's Boonkal Hashin. I ran into him with the people i saved. I had to use the smoke to obscure us escaping." Mason crossed his arms. "I can choose to get involved but i'm mostly to make sure you don't fight. Lets go. I already know where the man is." With that he gave them a warm smile.

Zachary Monifield

Zach looked at Mason. How exactly did he know all of this. If he saved these people this feral would've been gone by now.
"Yes that's him, but afterwards me and Lydia have to split and take on Ferals for something else..." Zachary sighed remembering a fight he and Lydia had the other day. "We expect you to cooperate, if you threaten us or try any funny business, it won't end well, for any of us. As far as I know, magic isn't just words. Telling me you can beat me won't help you." Zachary said as he looked at Lydia. Both of them had gone under extensive training by Imana. One of her sayings was that "words don't define strength" and that was the least Zachary could tell Mason. He turned to Lydia. "Let's- .... Something wrong?" he asked concerned.

Lydia Hollenworth

Lydia stayed relatively quiet. Something wasn't right in this scenario. It was quiet. Even for an abandoned part of the city, it was just too quiet. Lydia did her best to focus but she couldn't. Lydia took an arrow and drew her bow. She waited and didn't notice Zachary took out his sword. Despite them seeming like reckless children who don't know how to comprehend magic, they were very attentive to surroundings and quite powerful.
"...." Lydia turned to Mason then looked around.

"I'll attend to Boonkal. Your going after him AFTER i mentioned him attacking people to your leader." Mason stated before he turned on his heel and was ready to bolt before something hit his nose. "Oh my fuuuuckin god." He hissed. He stood up just as a hand grabbed his ankle. "I swear if there is a necromancer summoning the dead i'll make their corpse so ripe!" He growled as he felt the hand tighten as something came from the ground. Before the dirt revealed whatever it was, Mason shook off the hand and did a axe kick, pushing the thing back down along with the dirt to some degree as blood spat out of the mound.

(See, idk what to post in this case so...)
