Fandom Searching for Naruto RP Partner(s) (PLEASE DELETE)

I haven’t finished Naruto Shippuden; I finished Episode 37. I watch it everyday, though, so this’ll change. So please be careful with spoilers beyond this point.


Anyway, I’d like to do an rp that involves both Naruto characters, and my character(s). It doesn’t have to follow canon entirely. The main character I want in the rp is Gaara, since I really like the character, and would like a friendship between him and my character Reina/Rubyshard:


One x One - Reluctant Warrior of Twilight (WIP)



I don’t yet have a pic of her human form drawn by anyone, as this drawing was for me. I hope to find someone soon.


I also like Naruto, Kakashi, Sasuke, Shikamaru, and Haku. Any other characters can be used, too. Although...I’m not sure how someone like Haku would work since he’s dead...there’d definitely have to be a change to canon for that.


Reina/Rubyshard and my other characters are not from the Naruto World, though that can be changed if need be.


Rubyshard's human (and true) form, Reina:



Her name is Reina (Rubyshard is her warrior name in her Reptiline form), and she is 16 years old. She is 4’11”, and weighs 110lbs. (maybe). She is a Christian, and her alignment is hero, with shades of anti-hero.


She is a fire and lava elemental.


She is a small, short, and slender Naruto-style anime girl, with short arms and legs, and small hands and feet. She has no muscle or fat. Her skin color is white.

Her hairstyle and length is like the hairstyle circled here, but with a pointed tuft on the back of the head:

Clothes:

She wears clothes that are modest, comfortable, and practical. She hates things like dresses, skirts, and skorts.

She is wearing a purple t-shirt, and black shorts with red, vertical lines; she wears no socks or shoes anymore thanks to her wild side.


If I need to put her personality, I will. I just don’t want to reveal too much about her all at once.



Human Form with Reptiline-like attributes:



In this form, her eyes have slit, cat-like pupils; her ears become like the Reptiline’s; her teeth become fangs; her face has whiskers; her fingernails and toenails become talons; and she grows wings and a tail. She is more physically fit in this form.



She is able to utilize the abilities and power of a Reptiline in this second form, which can further morph fully into a Reptiline.

Don't take this personally, but your character sounds like a mary-sue. You will have a hard time finding people who will be willing to work with her unless you reign in a lot of things.

How does she seem like a mary-sue?

Indicators:

Being a mash of three species.

There are a bunch of things that make her seem majorly out of place, and need explaining, like her being a Christian in a place that is primarily Buddhist.

A complex description.

Having different forms when hardly anyone does, especially nonhuman forms.

The warrior name


Something that needs correcting: you have to have earth release as well as fire to have lava release.

You left out her personality which isn't inherently bad, but when you initially present a character, show a few flaws, or they seem perfect, which is a big no no.

Overall, she just seems to be too complicated, and again, out of place. I'm not saying you need to scrap her, but take down a few things. Being a cat-like OR reptile-like human, like Kisame is a shark like human, is interesting enough.

Since she was made long before getting into Naruto, this is how she naturally is; she wasn’t made specifically for the Naruto Universe. The creature she turns into is a feline/reptile hybrid, made up of different felines and reptiles, which is why I called it a Reptiline. I will change some things, but can I still have her be able to switch forms and keep her species, since it’s the most important part of her?

The switching forms is something new I came up with when rping with her elsewere. Part of her story is that she was born human, but was changed into a Reptiline. Now something has happened that allows her to switch forms. A Reptiline is naturally fire and lava elemental, but again, I’ll make changes if I need to.

She had something placed in her mind that is evil, and struggles to take control over her. She calls the entity the Beast, but that may be a little too similar to the tailed beasts, although it is something that has differences; I can get rid of it if necessary.

It’s nowhere near as powerful; all it really can do is make her mindless and murderous if it takes control from her. It will possess her and make her kill anyone and anything, and she has to either fight it off herself in a mental battle, or get outside help. It isn’t as intelligent; it can’t speak. It can’t be redeemed. It feeds off of her and her negative emotions.

It needs her to survive, but she doesn’t need it. It takes strong negative emotions, and/or either or both her and it being threatened to trigger it. It looks like a massive, evil, twisted version of her in her Reptiline form. The Reptiline form and species isn’t evil, but when the Beast takes over, it will transform her into that. She can change without the Beast, but will start out not knowing how. The only way the Beast can be killed and her freed from it is if the one who made it is killed.

Honestly, outside of the Naruto universe, I can't say there's much of anything wrong with her. Trying to shoehorn a character into a universe that it really doesn't fit with tends to make it more sue-like.

Um... take away a lot of things to make her more fit for the universe, or create another OC crafted for the universe?

She can still switch forms, but no Beast entity and just fire, no lava. Maybe hard to control instincts instead of the Beast entity? Just go by her human name and not the warrior name, and no religion?

That does make her fit in a lot more. I still think the form changing is over the top, but things are better.

Personality:



She is good, loyal, and compassionate at heart. She can't stand to see others in pain. She is capable of mercy and understanding, and can be gentle. She is attracted to friendly people, and those who are broken; she herself knows what it's like to be broken, and to have a dark side. She truly does want at least one friend, but is too scared and paranoid to get close at first. She hates showing vulnerability and 'weakness', such as crying, although it can leak out whether she likes it or not.

Once someone does break through, though, she can form a deep and intense bond if she feels close enough to them, and will trust them enough to show her vulnerability. She likes hugs. She is playful and intelligent; she's sarcastic even when in a good mood, but it's a teasing kind then instead of acidic. She can also be a serious and contemplative type, thinking deeply about certain matters. She is introverted. She likes time for herself, but doesn't want to be alone forever, either.

She can be mean and cold-hearted if pissed off enough, and will verbally lash out at others. She can be very defensive of herself and others. She is capable of feeling guilty, though, and might apologize if she feels she was in the wrong and/or went too far. She is stubborn and tenacious; taking a lot of punishment before going down. She has a short temper, bitterness, and is sarcastic.

Hm... Okay. Sorry temper is good, bitterness, good... I'd say one more. Everything else you've listed kind of applies to everyone.

Self loathing might work, but those are really common in characters.
