Hello there!
I am new to the site but not new to roleplaying. I've been doing it for years and honestly I love it because it allows me to get in touch with my creative soul. I love to read and write so this site seems to cater to my beloved hobbies. I love to create stories that are deep on an emotional level, creating new worlds or sticking with reality. I really enjoy creating characters that we can connect to or live vicariously through. I am hoping to find a partner that has the same passion for writing and story telling as I do. I am open to ideas and plotting out wonderful stories. Below you will find some basics about me as a writer. Have additional questions? Feel free to ask.
The Writer
- I love to play several different characters. I can play either female or male characters. I do not restrict myself to one gender, as I am a write and enjoy the ability of depicting both with my characters.
- I enjoy a good modern role-play but do also dabble in modern fantasy ones as well. Anything beyond these two I request that my partner have some patience with me. These two genres I do often and there for I am just comfortable and better at them.
- I do like to have some elements of romance in my role-plays but it does not or should not be the primary focus. I love role-plays that are a melting pot of different elements, romance, drama, tragedy, etc. That being said the romance will be kept at a PG-13 level as specified in website rules. As for pairings, I am familiar with MxF and FxF (if we must label them).
- In regards to frequency of posts I do try to get at least one reply out a day. I do have a life outside of the virtual worlds we create, so my I request that you respect that. I will of course respect yours as well.
- The length of my replies can vary. I do believe in quality over quantity, though most of my replies will be over a couple of paragraphs in length. When it comes to intros I can get carried away but do not let that intimidate you. I cannot help it when I'm inspired. I enjoy writing.
Original Plots
-Modern: This plot centers around a friendship that had started at an early age between a oil tycoons son and one of his lower level employees daughter. Though they came from different backgrounds their friendship grew through the years until high school. Everything changed when the son was sent away to school, an attempt by his father to keep this less than desirable romance from developing between the two. Through the years the two grew up in different realities. He had gone off to college to learn about the business world he would become apart of. Her on the other hand fell into the cycle of working hard to help out her parents and all the while she is working towards her own dreams in music trying to provide a better life. She quickly becomes a thorn in the oil tycoons side when she becomes a fierce advocate for her father who suddenly has fallen ill along with other employees. She suspicions lead her to the oil companies door steps. Her persistence has the tycoon summoning his son to step in on the situation. This is all done in hopes of derailing her current course. Everything changes when allies become enemies and the past brings up truths that could dismantle a fortune, and shatter dreams.
-Modern Fantasy: It is a Heaven vs. Hell type with demon hunters stuck in the middle. It's a group of demon hunters, their kind having been around for centuries. They are of course fighting for the good guys but at the same time Heaven treats them as the red headed step-child. Anyway they are there to protect mankind from what they can't see, the evils of the underworld. It's a thankless job but something they are experts at. What makes them different from mankind is that they posses powers of their own each unique to themselves. They are a band of brothers, the thin line protecting the innocent. Their world, however, gets turned upside down when a well known demon comes to their city. He has plans to bring about the end of days and in order to do that he has to find his precious key. This key is not like any normal key, it is a living breathing person, a young woman. She holds the power to bring about the apocalypse and he will stop at nothing to to get her. The hunters stumble across his plot when they save the girl from an attempt to kidnap her. They all have no idea what kind of hell they have walked into and slowly along the way they discover she's not just a normal human. Through the twists and turns, ups and downs, one of them ends up falling for her. This causes a problem as Hell is searching for her and Heaven wants her dead. The choice to kill her is on the table but with one of their own tangled up in this web and their promise to protect the innocent, the choice is not as easy as it might seem.
These are just two ideas I have. If they are not your cup of tea I understand and I am open to any ideas you might have. I love to brainstorm and plot with my partners.
