Here we go!
+Please be 21 or over. I'm 27 now, and I really don't feel comfortable roleplaying with anybody younger than that -- sorry, that's a strict rule.
Honestly, the older your account is the better as I'll admit I'm a little particular about this.
+I'm looking for something pretty active, once a day would be ideal if we're not writing essays but I'm open to options!
+I prefer to roleplay with females due to a few uncomfortable experiences in the past, my apologies.
+Please be committed, I'm into long-term things generally. If you have any issues then we can talk it out like adults, I'd prefer not to be ghosted!
+I tend to really like slice-of-life, and I don't plan things strictly. If you're after action at all times then this might not be for you. I love fluff as well, haha
+ I tend to write a paragraph or so per post, so please keep that in mind. One or two sentence stuff is fine, as long as I can understand what you're saying.
+ I'm up for any sexuality pairing at all and I'm super happy to double!
If you're keen then I'd prefer a PM but you can post here too!
I suppose this is a bit of a strange request but I love subverting expectations while also being a bit of a history nerd. This would be set either in the Victorian era or the '20s, whichever you'd prefer.
I'd like to play an androgynous character who's pronouns are she/her for the most-part mostly because I'm a creature of habit when it comes to writing, but...I'd be interesting in roleplaying a universe where one's gender is influenced by how they behave more than anything else.
A little like Gentleman Jack, my character's role in society leans toward the masculine & she's readily embraced in smoking-rooms swilling brandy while the 'women folk' are discouraged. She wears suits, has her hair short and avoids sitting in parlour rooms drinking tea.
MC is an arctic-explorer who's well-known for her rough methods and adventurous spirit. She frequently travels the world, going on adventures and returning wind-swept. She's brash, stubborn and ill-suited for sensitive society.
She's accepted by her fellow adventurous who see her as a drinking-buddy, really, and they have enough crazy stories to last a lifetime.
I'm looking for someone to play MC's wife, who encapsulates the traditional femininity of a Victorian woman. She's stern, no-nonsense but a loyal partner and completely compliments MC's craziness. She's perhaps a very high-class young woman, the daughter of a lord potentially who never really approved of the relationship.
I think we can do a whole lot plot-wise! MC's adventures abroad, her reappearance back into society, their marriage, etc.
I suppose that since MC is biologically female, this would be an FxF. I just wanted to emphasise that she's very masculine-aligned, no dresses or sensitivity sent her way. Hell, I'm thinking that MC is even a little hypocritical - not necessarily approving if her wife, say, drives an automobile or wears trousers. One's 'chosen gender' holding a lot of sway in this world.
I like the concept that all things considered, our characters are very traditional haha. I suppose it's not a common thing but I've had this character for years and I feel it might be fun to finally use!
