I'm looking for some partners to roleplay with me.


My tentative ideas:


The Game of Life


Our characters have died prematurely and want desperately to return to life. In the afterlife there is a game for those types of people. If you lose then you stay dead but if you beat everyone else involved you return to life and have a near-death experience.


Arbor


Arbor is a city filled with superheroes and villains although all of this changes when Alex Miller a charismatic villain takes control of the town. He forces all of those with powers to either side with him or go into hiding, but a rebellion is stirring.


Shade


This next idea is from the Inheritance series written by Christopher Paolini. Please have read all four books because this idea is spoiler-y. Essentially the story is about a rider and his dragon who are intercepted on their way to Eragon's training school by powerful magicians and the rider is turned into a Shade. The story will be about the resulting chaos in Alagaesia.


Let the Games Begin


There are many clans in this made-up world and when the princess becomes of age a competition is held for her hand in marriage.


I'd also like to play historical fiction. Like in Ancient Rome, Greece, Egypt or something more modern like World War I. I'm a history major so I love this sort of stuff.


I'd also be interested in a roleplay using this guy below. I don't know how, but he just looks so boss.

I'll probably add to this list, but this is all of the ideas that I want to roleplay that I can think of. I'm open to suggestions.

I need a few extra role plays it seems since those I have are slow, or well my characters are being difficult.


If you don't mind I would love to try a 1x1 with you.


I just hope we click, usually that's what makes a good role play for me, players that click and feed off each other plot wise and what not.


History is probably one of my worse subjects so sorry when it comes to that but I do love the Greek Gods myself.


All you're ideas seem fun except for Shade but that's probably cause I haven't read the book.
 
Hey. I don't usually do romance but the Let The Games Begin one sounds interesting, especially if you had a few people playing suitors, instead of just 1x1, but that's fine too. I recently went and saw the new disney movie, Brave and it was quite good. Maybe if something happened to interupt the games, like the town where the games are being held comes under attack by an enemy kingdom or maybe a prince from the enemy kingdom actually comes to join the games anyway.
 
Alexina - I actually adore the Greek Gods. Mythology from the past is the reason I took some history courses in university. I hope that we can click, the roleplay partner makes all of the difference and how they write. What idea were you interested in? Would you maybe want to join Tylar Annell in Let the Games Begin?


Tylar Annell - I definitely got my inspiration from Brave. I was thinking that it would be fun to roleplay the competition aspect more. I genuinely like your suggestions, it would be interesting to have the games interrupted AND perhaps a prince from an enemy kingdom join. I think there are too many potential characters so I might have to make this a public roleplay because I'm not sure if this would play well enough as a 1X1, what do you think?
 
Any of those outside of Shade I can attempt to do if you want. Be it 1x1 or group based I don't mind.


Oh, I'm not a fan of battling in rps though @.@ that's the only thing.


Maybe we can do a greek/roman god off take. Have people pick a god to play and what not compete. Same base but they design their own gods for the roles needed.
 
Yeah, it would work better with more people/more characters for the games. Character interactions would probably be a main part of a roleplay like this, so it'd be better with more people playing, rather than just a few with multiple characters I think.
 
Alexina - I would want the Goddesses interacting heavily so I don't think using the Greek gods for this roleplay would work. I'd like to work something out with you using the Greek gods in a roleplay however.


Tylar Annell - I think I'm going to make the roleplay and since it is driven heavily by character interaction I think that I'll make it public and therefore you can join. I'll ideally get around to it tonight.

While it will probably have some battles it'll probably be in the form of the tasks for the competition and won't play an overly large part. It'll be much more about the character relationships and intereaction. We're just a little low on rpers and it'd be great if you joined in :)
