hello! welcome to my partner search thread! my name is lotus, my pronouns are they/them, and i am twenty two years old. lovely to meet y’all

just returned from a long, long roleplay break - i did leave this site for a little while for mental health reasons, though now in a much better place and craving some goods rps again so i have returned. i do apologise to anyone i was mid-rp with and disappeared - if you’re reading this and we used to have something going, feel free to dm me and i’d be more than happy to pick it back up, even if we go for a new plot!

with that being said, if anything in this thread catches your eye, feel free to shoot me a dm and i’m sure we can work something out!

about me ​

• literate roleplayer - i definitely enjoy going into detail, and most comfortable with multi-paragraph response, though in general i do try to match length.
• i would prefer if partners are over eighteen! (nothing against those that are younger, just for my own comfort)
• i do play any gender. pairings wise, i do prefer fxf or mxm, or anything with nonbinary characters. whilst i’m not currently looking for it, i may be open to mxf in rare circumstances.
• i try to reply in character at least once a week, depending on how life is going - i do unfortunately work full time so cannot guarantee consistent responses, but i try my best! in general, always happy to chat out of character between responses.
• ghost friendly! i absolutely understand that Life can happen, or something things just don’t click, and that’s absolutely fine. not a problem either if you disappear for a while and then come back later, always happy to pick right back up where we left off.
• most of my roleplays typically involve some sort of romance, although outside of that very open in terms of genres and plots!
• i love a little planning before we jump into anything! discussing what we want from the plot, what our characters could be, etc etc. i do also love a good character sheet prior to the roleplay, although it’s absolutely not required - please do let me know your preferences on this!
• personally not a huge fan of faceclaims - i’ll give it a go if it’s something you absolutely require, but in general always prefer to opt for a written description, or even something like a picrew in terms of visual aid.
• absolutely love some good angst and even a darker plot - please if you wanna play a more ‘villainous’/meaner characters i would love that, though otherwise, just. all of the drama please. let the characters suffer
• most importantly though, i’m just here to have fun and make some friends! and hopefully create something wonderful whilst we’re at it ^^

original pairings ​

here are some pairings i’d be interested in trying out! bolded is the role i would prefer to play (if i have a preference). most of these i do have at least a vague plot for, but of course, if you have any plot ideas for any of these, feel free to run it by me as well!

plots ​

here are a few plot ideas! again, bolded is my preferred role. feel free to alter any of these as well if there’s something you’d want to add!

• character a is a pirate captain who has had a recent disagreement with the ruler of a coast-side kingdom. they hatch a plan to capture the child of said ruler, character b, and hold them for ransom until the ruler meets their demands - but what happens when character a grows to like character b a little too much? and how do they react when it turns out that character b would rather stay?
• character a is a runaway who seeks shelter in an old house in the middle of nowhere, not realising that house is inhabited by character b. thankfully, character b is more than hospitable, and to their surprise welcomes character a into their home - little do they know, it comes at a price. as it turns out, character b is a vampire, and what better way for character ato repay their debt than with blood?
• character a is a human abducted by character b, an alien, who intends to study the human race, not quite realising how intelligent they actually are.

fandoms ​

for the most part, i am looking for either canon x canon or oc x oc here! unfortunately not really an oc x canon sorta person. can play a range of different characters and ships though, so feel free to run anything by me! plot wise, we can come up with something between us, or even take a pairing from above and work that into it!

• mcyt-based fandoms (mostly life series/hermitcraft/empires/ect)

• stardew valley (willing to do oc x canon for this specific fandom if we’re treating the farmer as an oc!)
• night in the woods

• the owl house
