Roleplay Type(s)
Hello! Just a quick search. I always seem to get a huge craving for horror around this time of the year. Oddly enough, I've never really had a good RP in that kind of a setting, huh...

I am looking for a mature writing partner that enjoys dark, spooky themes. I am in my mid-twenties and I'd prefer someone that is closer to my own age (20+ at least). I can write lengthy novels if my partner likes them, but I can also do more casual (~500 words) post length. If romance is desired, I'm only willing to do mm// at the moment. I'm completely fine with keeping things platonic.

As for the plot, I have some small ideas but I'd prefer to work out details with a partner. So please, send me a private message (I won't discuss plots in this thread) and tell me what kind of a roleplay you are looking for! Feel free to share any ideas that you have or add to the ones that I have listed here. ^_^

- Exploring abandoned locations and finding something you did not expect.
- Hunting for ghosts... with a ghost.
- Light sensitive monsters.
- Stranded somewhere with something trying to kill you.
- Zombies - but maybe more human than you usually have. Infected humans that can utter a few words, but are unable to stop themselves from attacking the people around them.
- Something Stephen King Pet Sematary inspired - Someone dies, but when they come back, they are different.
- Also craving to include a... slightly sociopathic character, I guess? Someone that does not feel fear.

PS. Despite the horror genre, please keep in mind that I will not do abusive, unbalanced relationships between our main characters. For example I will not pair a serial killer with their terrified victim. I am willing to pair a serial killer with another serial killer though, and so on.

So I love Fearless Individual and Ghost Hunting With Ghost.

I think for fearless individual it would be fun to do kind of a odd couple team up in some kind of dark magical world. Fearless is forever putting themselves in dangerous situations due to lack of fear and just general curiosity perhaps? Their partner can sense danger and has the ability to protect others from it. But the downside is they are bombarded almost constantly with all the multitude of ways things could go wrong. And being with Fearless forces them to get out of their own head and react. Which in turn gives them a better quality of life.

For Ghost Hunter. I think it would be cool to do sort of a really creepy take on Scooby Doo. The ghost is actually possessing a dog (possibly actually a dog, only with human intelligence and the ability to speak).

The Ghost Dog is in charge of basically doing Maintenance work in the human world. Rounding up all those wandering spirits and sending them back to their after life. Human is someone who can see ghosts and has sort of been enlisted into part-time work for Death. Maybe the human is learning how to sort of send Ghosts back to the After Life from the Dog.

My own idea that I thought I'd pitch. A world where magic comes from there places : Blood Sacrifice, Spirit Possession, or Creature Inheritance. A previously "Normal" person suddenly finds themselves a part of this dark world. And has to grapple with a whole lot of blood shed and some surprisingly good natured monsters
