SCP-5016
"The Ghost In The Machine"

Item #: SCP-5016
Object Class: Euclid

Name: Formally SCP-5016, preferred 'David Calgary'.

Age: Object was manufactered in 1997.

Strengths: Object is able to anomalously manifest abilities, however they only seem to work in arm's reach, Object is also semi-immortal.

Weaknesses: Object is obviously unable to move without assistance, and requires a running power source. Object also relies on ink and paper to communicate.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5016 Is to be kept in the Site B logistics office, atleast one security guard is to be kept in the vicinity per usual and no more than two D-Class are to provide SCP-5016 it's required luxuries at all times.

SCP-5016 is to be referred by it's preferred cognomen so to avoid insubordinance. SCP-5016 will be supplied with a weekly tour through the Site B garden, kept powered with a wheeled generator and conmected to it's required sensory items1.

SCP-5016 will be issued a weekly psychological meeting and interview per routine. In the event of a containment breach, SCP-5016 is to be neutralized immediately.

Description: SCP-5016 is an HP brand Laserjet Colour copying machine, it is sapient and commonly insubordinate. SCP-5016 was discovered in a warehouse near the town of β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆ, Virginia. It was notified to the local police on the date of 9/4/19β–ˆ after a warehouse worker powered the object and was quickly issued multiple complaints from SCP-5016.

SCP-5016 prefers to be addressed as "David Calgary", and communicates through writing, SCP-5016 has expressed the ability to alter reality on minor levels, and has caused a singular casuality with these abilities [Refer to incident IB-65283]. SCP-5016 has agreed to work as a Site B logistical manager2.

Incident IB-65283: On the date of 3/15/20β–ˆ SCP-5016 was assaulted by a Site B logistics accountant by the name of 'Jeremy β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆ', object immediately manifested anomalous abilities, causing the subject to commit suicide forcefully via [DATA EXPUNGED].

Addendum
1. Microphone, Videocamera, etc.
2. Note from Junior Researcher Flanagan: "Hes not a fucking manager, hes a godamn copier, can we atleast address his job without shame?"

Hope you like the format.

D-11201
"The Man Who Knew Infinity"

prison_bitch__prisoneramericaxframedreader__by_vienna13-d6s79ra.png

Item #: D-11201 / SCP-11201

Object Class: Safe

Name: William Hawthorne

Age: D-11201's was born on β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆ/β–ˆβ–ˆ/β–ˆβ–ˆ.

Description: D-11201 is a regular human that appears to possess true immortality. Upon the body sustaining fatal damage and ceasing to function, a new body is materialised into the near vicinity of the previous via extradimensional means. D-11201’s consciousness remains constant in all the new bodies it inhabits with a small lapse in memory during the short delay between death and the new body arriving. While the subject's body is capable of being locally altered via training or ageing, the subject is reverted to its original form at the time of SCP exposure. It is unknown if this is the extent of D-11201’s abilities, further testing is required.

As a scientist, D-11201 used to be a timid and somewhat fearful individual, scurrying around to please others and do his job correctly. Upon SCP classification, he has adopted a careless attitude but still remains cooperative with the Foundation staff. He is known to be easy going, amicable but somewhat lazy. While he no longer fears death, he does not actively seek it and appears to still strongly dislike the pain that comes with termination.

Special Containment Procedures: D-11201 has been allowed to freely roam Site B as he pleases. He has been granted a more comfortable cell with various recreational activities and upgraded furnishings. D-11201 may also choose to visit other SCP entities to talk, accompanied by at least one agent of the Foundation. Instances where D-11201 is left alone outside of the facility, it can be assured that he will return to the facility of his own accord. MTF transportation may be supplied with Level 3 Clearance.

Footnote: Joining the Foundation as a member of the Science Department in SCP Testing, William aided primarily in the setting up of SCP experimentation by organising the sites and preparing the SCPs accordingly. It was on one unfortunate experiment that SCP β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆ broke containment with William nearby and attacked him. [Data Expunged] When the Foundation security team Mobile Task Force initially arrived to recapture the escaped SCP, they also found multiple instances of deceased clones of Mr Hawthorne, currently referred to as SCP-11201-1. D-11201 received a minor safe SCP classification and was demoted to D-Class so as to not compromise Foundation security. Since then, D-11201 has continued to participate in SCP experimentation and assists the Foundation as a live sacrificial test subject for SCP Keter classifications and below.

Addendum 1: D-11201 has participated in multiple Keter-class SCP tests. A description of the most notable are as follows:

SCP-173: D-11201 entered the test chamber timidly [Note: This test took place on β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆ/β–ˆβ–ˆ/β–ˆβ–ˆ , several weeks post-SCP classification.] and was instructed to observe SCP-173. Upon blinking, SCP-173 immediately killed D-11201 via snapping his spine at the base of his neck. After two (2) seconds exactly, a new instance of D-11201 materialised within five (5) metres of the deceased body displaying expressions of fear. This cycle continued for 23 hours. At the end of this period, SCP-173 was observed to have effectively given up on killing D-11201, remaining unmoving facing one corner of the test chamber regardless of D-11201's eyeline. D-11201 was retrieved and reported to have displayed severe symptoms of chronic insanity. Class A amnestics were applied to remove the subject's memory of the event, but this only proved to be partially successful. Further amnestic testing required.

SCP-092: D-11201 entered the test chamber [Note: Subject appears to have lost its timidity and displayed relaxed mannerisms.] and was instructed to observe SCP-092, which was turned from the subject. Subject did so for ten (10) minutes before growing curious and moving to observe SCP-092's front. [Note: By chance, D-11201 had never been informed as to the true nature of SCP-092 and thus had no idea how it worked.] Upon having its face viewed, SCP-092 began its usual process of increased weeping and eventual screaming. D-11201 had backed to the far corner of the room with a slightly worried expression. Upon reaching the climax of its cries, SCP-092 sprinted at D-11201 and proceeded to claw open a large cavity in the front of his torso, effectively killing the subject. Two (2) seconds passed and a new instance of D-11201 materialised nearby, notably averting his gaze from SCP-092. SCP-092 did not make any further attempts to attack D-11201, apparently satisfied with the subjects previous death. The test was ended without issue.

Independent Experiment #001: D-11201 was euthanized via electrocution and the corpse left behind was taken for experimentation. Resuscitation was technically successful after several attempts, however the SCP-11201-1 instance displayed no neural functionality and remained in a non-responsive vegetative state. Terminating the subject proved that all instances of SCP-11201 do not share the same anomalous effects of D-11201, suggesting the subjects abilities are linked with its consciousness.

Independent Experiment #002: D-11201 was led to a small testing chamber with a projector and screen. Subject was asked to memorise several images that would be displayed on the screen. The images flashed on the screen for two (2) seconds each. D-11201 was then given Class A amnestics and asked to repeat the images he had previously seen. D-11201 was able to remember over roughly half of the images displayed with a high degree of accuracy despite successfully having been administered the amnestics. It was concluded that D-11201 apparently possessed a degree of psychological resistance to mind-altering drugs, and later other memetic abilities through further testing.

SCP-1516
"The Written Man"

Item #: SCP-1516
Object Class: Euclid

Name: Palabra Quintero

Age: SCP-1516 was discovered on β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆ .

Strengths: Whenever SCP-1516 enters in direct contact with a single noun written on any suitable surface, said word will detach itself from the paper and will deform to fit a tridimensional and functional object depicting the previous concept of the word (hereby called SCP-1516-1). Instances of SCP-1516-1 share the same physical characteristics with SCP-1516 itself. For a full list of SCP-1516's abilities, see test log-1516.

Weaknesses: SCP-1516 is analogous to a human in respect to the majority of its needs and weaknesses. SCP-1516 is unable to use more than one word in its primary anomalous effect and is bounded by SCP-1516's knowledge and understanding of the word, and how complex the concept is. Some words such as "Γ‘rbol" are too difficult for SCP-1516 to manifest.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1516 is to be contained in a standard humanoid containment cell at Site 49, furnished with instances of SCP-1516-1. SCP-1516 is to be provided with written words referring to food and nourishment. Under no circumstances is SCP-1516 allowed to interact with written words describing harmful and/or dangerous concepts that may cause damage to the vicinity or the subject itself, or text/inscription based anomalies, including SCP-1672, SCP-1889, SCP-2140. As per request, SCP-1516 has been allowed to possess an audiobook copy of the Bible.

Description: SCP-1516 is a living typographical illustration of a human being measuring 1.9 meters in height and 78 kilograms in weight. SCP-1516 has a semi-variable appearance and is composed of β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆ typeface letters and words. Each part of SCP-1516's anatomy is composed of the Spanish word deformed to fit the shape of that part of the body. SCP-1516's anatomy is always labeled with the simplest possible term for the body part. When viewed from a closer perspective, SCP-1516's form will slowly change its shape to the terms for that part of the subject's body (i.e: its legs would be a deformed "leg" word, and arms, chest, face, etc will follow this pattern). This effect continues down to the subcellular level. When examined by electron microscopy nuclei isolated from SCP-1516 are full linked A's, T's, C's, and G's linked by the word "sugar". While SCP-1516 is aware of this aspect, it appears to be unable to control it in any way.

When SCP-1516 performs any action that would produce a sound, it will produce written words and/or onomatopoeias from the source of the sound instead, floating on the air for approximately 5-10 seconds before suddenly vanishing. It is of note that digital audio recorders can register them as sounds, but cameras and other visual recorders may register a visual image of them.

The following is a list of the experiments conducted to test SCP-1516's effect on different words at varying situations:

Word: "SofΓ‘" (couch)
Result: Upon contact, the word suddenly detached itself, grew in size and deformed to form a tridimensional couch.

Word: "Cama" (bed)
Result: Similar results as per previous test.

Word: "TelΓ©fono" (phone)
Result: Upon contact, the word stayed inert. SCP-1516 has claimed that it doesn't know how a phone works.

Word: "Tomate" (tomato), "lechuga" (lettuce) and "cebolla" (onion).
Result: As expected, all the words were effectively turned into SCP-1516-1 instances. Dr β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆ used a standard kitchen knife to prepare a simple salad. When mixed together, they shifted into "ensalada" (salad). When allowed to consume the salad, SCP-1516 was capable of identifying all involved ingredients.

Word: "Vase"
Result: No change. SCP-1516 has claimed not to know what the word means.

Word: "Vase". This time, SCP-1516 has been taught about the meaning of the word.
Result: Upon contact, the word changed in the usual way.

Word: "Perro" (dog)
Result: Upon contact, the sample shifted as expected. When inspected, it did not show any life signs.

Word: "Papel" (paper)
Result: The sample stayed inert. SCP-1516 has claimed the word "paper" is immune to its effect.

Word: "Una silla rota" (a broken chair)
Result: No change. SCP-1516 has claimed it cannot affect anything beyond an isolated word at once.

Addendum 1: SCP-1516 was discovered on β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆ, Venezuela. Following several reports of a "man made of letters" living in an abandoned house on the mountain. Foundation agents were dispatched to investigate and confirmed the situation. SCP-1516 offered no resistance to capture. Witnesses were interviewed and treated with A-class amnestics. Forty-seven (47) instances of SCP-1516-1 were found on the vicinity and confiscated.

Addendum 2: At β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆ/β–ˆβ–ˆ/β–ˆβ–ˆ SCP-1516 was approved to receive English classes 3 times a week. Due to the apparent lack of difference between oral and written communication, the subject showed a remarkable advance during courses. 10 weeks after the classes started, SCP-1516's body presented an irregularity when several body samples showed 12% of the total mass to be written in regular English. English course was suspended and several tests were run on SCP-1516's body. SCP-1516 expressed no physical discomfort for this event and requested to continue its English classes. After several discussions, SCP-1516 was allowed to continue its classes. At week 14 body mass changed into English had been increased to 20% and confirmed that English transmutation was directly proportional to SCP-1516's English skills. At week 37, SCP-1516 reached perfect use of English language and English transmutation stopped at 48% of its body mass. No objective secondary effects were visible, but a slight change in SCP-1516's personality has been noted connected to the language it uses to communicate.

Trying to use Arion's format.
