  𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐚𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐚
  The world of Vaelora is home to life of all sorts, most notably being humans as they are the dominate race in the world. With the advancements in human technology over the centuries, civilization has grown exponentially over time. While there are lush green fields and forests that scatter the wilderness, the task of finding small towns and villages has never been easier, in fact, even with the largest city in Vaelora is nothing compared to the size and scale of the Capital of Eldralis where only the wealthiest and most powerful live.
  
  Before the appearance of the Rifts started to appear throughout the land, Vaelora could be considered as modern as one would expect. While there were disagreements among different governments every so often and wars would be waged between nations to resolve an issue, in the end the world still found peace in some way or another. Once the appearance of the Rifts had shown how much of a threat they proved to be, it was the first time that the world had ever seen all the nations come and work together as one. For years now, as the war continues to be waged against the Rifts, The Infernos and the Aberrants, humans have advanced further and technology to this day continues to rise in all different fields such as medical, and weaponry.

  𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬
  The largest known city throughout all of Vaelora, built with the help and funding from all the nations governments uniting together to combat against a single common threat. Originally the city was meant to house just the politicians, War Generals and any other personnel of the government that held high ranking. However, after the completion of the city and news had rung throughout the world, many of the wealthy believed that because most of the world's military leaders were located here, they would be most protected if they were to live there. So, by opening their pockets, they attempted to buy their way into living at the Capital and it worked.
  
  Even if the nations governments now worked together, it did not mean they still did not need money to get any of what they needed to get done, completed and none of it could actually be done without funds. So, aside from being home to the wealthy and the government leaders, the Capital eventually also became home to another influential group, the Holy Sol Temple. While they were the last to join the Capital due to how long it took the government to accept the religion, eventually the religion had found its way to the Capital and soon was considered to be the main Temple out of all the other Temples throughout the land.
  
  Those who wanted to join the religion but wanted to fight and protect as a Vanguard were sent here but only if the military leaders and the head of the Holy Sol Temple in the Capital all came to an agreement that the individual was set to be loyal enough to the religion and strong enough to withstand the process of becoming a Vanguard.

  𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐬
  Tears in the fabric of reality itself. Rifts are strange pockets of black, purple and white. The space within Rifts is unknown and as to where it leads to is a mystery to even the greatest minds. All that is known is that the Aberrants come from them and the Infernos only started to come about after the Rifts were discovered. full sized Rifts are extremely dangerous to ordinary humans as approaching one without being a Vanguard is sure to kill and turn any human into an Inferno in a matter of moments. Scientists still have no answers as to how or why Rifts appear but it seems that after the creation of a small manmade one and the project to make Vanguards, the power that a Vanguard wields can counteract the power that the Rift exerts and cancels out the Rift causing it to close.
