Beutelwolf
The Overlord
Hey guys! So I’m out here looking for a horror partner to do a somewhat specific plot. Really, all I have fleshed out is a general plot outlook and an idea for my character. The other details can be added as we go and adjusted as needed.
I would like to add, I want this to be HIGHLY detailed. So I’m looking for a person willing to flesh out probably more than 3 paragraphs (this number can be changed and stuff but just a general rule.) this being said, I’m a busy person. I get life comes in and throws a wrench at our spare time. I do not expect you to reply like 8 times a day For sure this is quality over quantity. If we get a bunch of posting in, good! If not, it’s not the end of the world.
Located in the spoiler below is a little detailed blurb about my idea for both setting, plot, and character. I’ll say it now, this is kind of an alternate history type thing. So we can play around with culture, timelines, events, etc. If you have any questions, just let me know! I’m also at work, so that’s why it sounds choppy. This is an incomplete plot. So if you notice any plot holes or incomplete/vague things, that means they’re customizable!

So basically, this takes place in Chernobyl and Pripyet Ukraine a certain amount of time after the nuclear meltdown that left the place uninhabitable. Besides looters and animals, the place has remained relatively quiet.
Your character is some kind of the adventurous type (reporter, looter, insane, investigator, whatever you want that would give them reason to be hunting mine down.) and somehow caught wind of some strange occurrences in the city of Pripyet and the reactor site itself. After months of hunting, they finally manage to track down my character.
A research scientist at Chernobyl, he happened to be on site when it all went down. Barely making it out alive, he didn’t bother reporting in. As far as the USSR (they’re still the USSR in this), M/C died in the blast. Thousands of miles away from any Soviet territory, he finally managed to outrun his past with nothing more than a couple burns and vision problems.
Y/C corners M/C about their identity and the incident, which MC fully denies. It takes a while, but YC finally convinces (or blackmails) MC into traveling back. On one condition. MC is adamant that they’re only going to Pripyet. Of course while they’re there, things start to unravel.
Seemingly normal at first, it doesn’t take long things to go wrong. What starts out as a simple trip quickly turns into a thrust for survival, where not everyone might make it out.
