Fantasy School of Angels

(I'm going to occasionally write from Gabriel's point of view so don't be startled by that) Daniel shrugged, " Mother died when I was young . I'm used to it. That's cool, I've always wanted to live in San Fran Sisco or someplace , well warmer!" He laughed at his own joke.

"Yes the other teachers will be here soon. I am glad they are all angels." Said Dr. Maxwell. Sometimes mortals could be difficult to work with, especially when they had to keep them in the dark. "The headmaster should be here soon."

"San Fran is alright, but too busy. At least it has a few amazing museums." said Vayne smiling.

((WOrks for me.))

"Do you guys travel much?" Aella asked curiously. Aella had never the state before. She only really left the city when her father took her out to go sightseeing at some random little tiny location or out to a special restaurant.

Barachiel nodded, "Good. Let's just pray this all goes smoothly and according to plan."

Daniel's wiry figure shifted its weight to the other foot. He had always liked the idea of true friends. He had a few buddies in his past schools but none had peaked his interest like these two. "I think they are about to begin. Shall we find seats? " "No parents makes for little travel" he added, gesturing into the doorway.

Vayne nodded, Daniel was right. They had already been standing there for an hour now. "Travel has its ups and downs. Traveling by a moped, not so much."

Dr. Maxwell looked up at the clock. It was time for the Orientation and the Angel Alex would be going down there to talk to the students in a moments time.

Daniel made his way through the door, quicjly finding a seat close by and promptly putting it to use. He had grabbed his stuff before he left, which he brought out and began to work again, despite the immense noise ringing in his ears. He sighed, work calmed him. It always had this way of making him very numb and focused. He always liked being calm and collected, which was one reason he believed he adopted such a passion for music.

"I wish I could travel," Aella says as she walks in and follows Daniel. She sits down and waits.

Barachiel notices Dr. Maxwell looking at the clock and looks up himself. "Ah, it's time. Shall we head in then?" he asks standing up from his chair.

"Welcome everyone." Came a booming voice as a short angel walked into the gym. He had an energy around him that made him enjoyable to be around. "I am Alex. Seriously call me Alex. All that Mr. crap is dull. Now I am your or shall be your gym teacher, and wellness trainer. This will include survival skills if you decide to sign up for that class. Anyways welcome to Heights High School. Yes we know we are a new school. So let's get this started. Look to your left and to your right. This is your new family. Get to know them. Go ahead and introduce yourselves. I'll give you five minutes to talk."

"Hello, my name is Daniel and I am musician." He had raised his head and turned to joke with Aella. He was still uneasy, hoping he hadn't gained too much weight over the time he had preparing to come to this school. He made an attempt to pull his stomach tighter, but it was no good.

Rin stood out side the school compound his worn out military bag, at his shoulder was a beautiful katana wrapped in red silk blanket. He let out a long sigh and though to himself what's the point of me being here......chances are I'll just end up being expelled...... damn that old man.... Rin let out a sigh and began walking away from school. Before Rin could get any further a voice called out.

"Oi! Where the hell do you think you're going. The orientation is that way." shouted Faust as he approached his son, with a blink of an eye Rin found himself in a headlock.

"What the?! Are you trying to break my neck old man?!" gasped Rin, Faust scowled and finally let his son go.

"Come on kid, let's get going. The first day of school and we're already both late." sighed Faust as he grabbed his son by the ear and dragged him into the orientation. Rin complained but complied anyway. The father and son finally arrived half way through the orientation.

"Listen up. I'm going to talk to the other staff members. You stay here, don't cause any trouble, and don't you dare think of ditching." Faust then quietly made his way towards Maxwell.

"Tch...... fine..... I'll just wait over here." muttered Rin as he watched Faust walk away.

"Faust." Said Dr. Maxwell as he saw his son. "Weapons are not allowed on premise. Well not freely. If you would be kind enough to get it we will store it until training. It amazes me that you were able to tell your son so easily. I hope we are all as lucky. And don't worry I already have a cover for your son so they don't think he is a demon. The other students wouldn't like. And on a similar note remember now isn't the time for the others to find out. We will tell them before this week is over though."

"Aella," she smiles lightly before yawning a little bit.

Barachiel walks into the gym and over to Alex. He smiled at thew new students and quietly stood there while the students talked to one another.

"Ah and here is Mr. Barachiel." Said Alex as he turned to the angel that had just come in. "Now I am going to turn the mike over to him. He might have a few words for everyone."

Vayne smiled and introduced himself to Aella again who was on his right and then to another guy that was on his left. It was all casual but the students seems to have to be allowed to talk. It took them a few minutes to quiet down when Alex had spoken once more.

"...... To be honest with you Maxwell..... My kid is unaware that I'm his real father..... he only sees me as an old priest...... oh and thanks....hopefully I can get Rin to make some friends...." chuckled Faust as he waved over to Rin, he signaled his son to drop his belongings where the other students dropped their stuff off. Rin nodded and put his stuff down, next to another students bag. He then made his way to the back row trying not to draw any attention to himself.

I really want my sword back...... but I have to try my best not to get into trouble..... damn it I really don't want to be here...... thought Rin as he slouched in his seat.

"Ah. Very good then. I thought for sure he knew. Then what made you think it was a wise idea for him to bring the sword?" Asked Dr. Maxwell not angry just curious.

"Welcome," Barachiel smiled slowly gaining the students attentions. "I am Mr. Barachiel and I am the History teacher here. All the teachers and I are happy to see you all here. We are all excited to meet you." Barachiel looks over the students. His gaze goes to his daughter for a moment and he notices two boys sitting on each of her sides. 'The first friends she makes, of course, have to be boys,' he groans mentally.

Aella watched her father speak from her seat. When his gaze landed on her, she could see the tiniest of change in his eyes. 'What's with him and not even letting me look at a boy?' she asks herself wanting to disappear into thin air. Hopefully no one else could tell like she could.

"Rin's a good kid......The sword was his mothers family heirloom.... before she died she told me to give it him..... She said that one day.... with that sword, Rin will be able to protect the people he cares about. She hoped that one day he'll become a hero...... haha..... If you don't mind, let him carry it around, it's the last thing he has to remember his mother by. Besides, Rin has never drawn his blade against another human.... Hey...Maxwell.... have some patience with him, he's a good kid. Tell me if he does anything to disrupt your class, I'll be sure to nag him till his ears fall off." smiled Faust as he gave off a nonchalant aura.

Rin looked around and realized he was the only one who wasn't talking to anyone else. He sighed and tried to strike up a conversation, but in the end Rin remained silent.
Whatever...... there's plenty of time to chit chat with the other students..... though Rin as he glanced over to his bag and his sword.

"Can't let him just carry it around. I am not worried about him using it, but someone else might." Said Dr. Maxwell as he scratched at the scar on his arm. It bothered him from time to time. "But perhaps we can let him keep it in his room only. I'd tell the same to other students wither they brought a sharp stick or one of those tiny little pocket knives people use for cutting fruit. Besides we do have some safety regulations to follow. But he can train with it when the kids get their real lessons."

Daniel sighed, generally disinterested in the orientation . his work was progressing well. He continued, the flow of musical terms continued to spill from his mouth as he worked on the piece. He hoped not to disturb those listening.

"I think Rin would appreciate that, I'll go ahead and tell him after we get this thing over with hahaha!" chuckled Faust as he watched the students.

Rin listened to the teacher speak, he yawned and dozed off to sleep in a matter of minutes.
