The Lotus Academy, home to a diverse amount of students from all walks of life. The first day of school started without a hitch, all students gathered in their classes after a lecture in the auditorium.

 

[CHIMNY]

Uzaki had been playing through out the whole speech, he just beat his high score after the speech just ended, "What now." says Uzaki as he checks his schedule - Go into your class. "Ill stick through this day just to find out more."

"Hey did you hear the rumor?" One girl asked another, " you know that one that happened last week?"


"Oh you mean the student who got attacked right? I hear they said it was just a dog or something."


"Yeah sure but I hear there is a video of it. Did you see it?"


"No, did you?" The girl was getting scared.


"I saw a little bit, it barely had fur I think, it was super creepy." As they walked away one last gruesome detail could be heard,"it had no eyes..."


"Ew gross no way, you are making that up."

 

[CHIMNY]

Uzaki had heard the 2 girls talking, he was interested, Uzaki pulled out his new pen and notebook he wrote - Goal #1 find the creature, try to kill it. Uzaki put his notebook back in his pocket.

Mayu slowley woke up from her nap and tried to adjust to her surroundings. "Wha?", she gazed around to see people walking about and out of...the auditorium?!? 'Oh no I slept throughout the whole speach', Mayu's color drained from her face and she quickly got up and started to run down the aisle way to get to the hall. Unfortunately, she ran a bit too fast and ran into the door, throwing her back onto the ground. 'Ha ha, this is not the best day.'

Uzaki walks into the classroom were he is told to be, he sits all the way in the back, left corner of the room.

Pulling herself up and dusting off her skirt, she proceeded to walk to her class. If only she could remember where the room was. "No matter I shall find it myself!" She declared and marched onward. After a few minutes of marching, she had found the class she was assigned. Thank goodness they didn't start yet. Slipping into the room, she sat at the front desk, right in front of the teachers stand. Getting out her notebook she began to write.

Uzaki sees a girl enter the room, as he starts observing her and everyone else, Uzaki writes down their description and what he thinks of them, but the girl, he felt something different about her.

'Hmm.' Mayu thought, she put her hand to her chin. She could sense a guy in the back watching her, but she had to keep her cool....Or not! She spun around to look the boy directly in the eyes, then smiled happily.


"If your going to check me out, you can at least say hello." She beamed

The teacher entered and tapped a ruler on his desk, "Ok class attention, due to construction the first and second years will be sharing classrooms. Also we have new foreign exchange students. Shade and Reila..."


The two entered with a strange aura about them. The girl gave off a calm dominating feeling whereas the males seemed more like a brewing storm. They introduced themselves and went to their chairs.

Mayu spun around to pay attention to their teacher. She slightly waved from her seat at the pair as they entered and sat down, smiling brighter then before. She watched then sit down. 'Hmm...the girl seems in power and by her stance is used to feeling like this, dominant. The boy seems more stand offish then she does....still wouldn't hurt to say Hi later! They seem super cool!" Mayu thought to herself, smiling through closed lips her attention again, turned to the teacher.

The teacher gave a lecture for a couple of hours before making an announcing, "For the rest of the day you may look around campus to get acquainted with where things are. Dismissed." With that Shade and Reila vanished heading to the roof.

They went out of the room so quick Mayu almost didn't have time to react. She quickly gathered her books and ran to catch up with the pair.


"Wait!" She yelled, heading down the hall to where they were, hoping they would respond.

Shade ignored the girl, at first but then decided to befriend her. Reila decided to cross her arms.


"Hello can we help you?"


"Ugh, Shade, do we have time?"


"I am sure it will be fine. How can I help you?" He asked her with a smile.

"Gute-Hello! My name is Asuski Mayu! But you can call me May if you like. Your new here right? This is my first year at this school too! Though I enrolled so I wasn't announced as a transfer student. I thought we could explore together!" She said happily. Smiling she held her hand out to shake to the boy who talked to her, Shade.

Smiling to himself he tilted his head, "Don't mind her, we are just about to discuss work. We can't talk for long but I am sure we can at least help you..."


"I will meet you on the roof," Reila said turning on her heel, "Don't forget we have a job to do."

"Oh you two are employed? That's awesome! Sorry if I bothered you but you both seem like really nice people!" Retracting her hand she smiled and then looked at his face, purple eyes blazing with regret. "Umm..This might sound weird but do you know where the cafeteria is? I've looked when i first toured and can't find it anywhere." She blushed slightly but still smiled. "Sorry if i scared your friend away. I tend to do that."

"No she just really loves working." He said putting a hand on her shoulder, "The cafeteria is downstairs by the library. Pretty straight forward."

 

[Yngwie Schutz]

"Thank you very much! Again, sorry if i interrupted anything. Thank You for helping me! Maybe we can hang out when your not busy." She said happily. Bowing, she walked away and headed off toward the cafeteria. 'Now', she thought, pulling out the empty skirt pocket, 'how and I going to pay for food this month...'. Her pace increased as she tried to get away, hoping Shade didn't see her look.

He crossed his arms watching her leave. "Now that is settle.." he headed to the roof. Finding Reila she began talking.


"You are far to nice to them," she said noting that the roof was empty, "besides I guess that can be ecpected from you though. Always making friends despite the situation."


He chuckled to himself. "Sometimes making extra friends can help the cause. You know that right?"

Mayu apologized to the lunch lady, apparently, she had no money left in her account and there was no emergency lunch. "Guess I'm going without dinner today", she said out loud. Walking to go home, she needed to work in order to eat. Opening the doors, her foot caught on the edge of the frame tripping again, this time landing flat on her face. "Owww." she moaned feeling her nose, bleeding. 'I guess I'll have to fix that when i get home', she thought. Standing up she ran home, trying to forget about her stomach.

The moment she left she was being watched. Despite this whatever it was wouldnt do anything to her.

Uzaki saw the girl turn around, he waved a hand to her, then he saw the twins, he felt very strange around them too, Uzaki somehow can get a feeling of what kind of people are around. He ignored it, after class was over he went straight to the cafeteria, he heard Mayu and the twins talking. Like always Uzaki sat all the way in the back, he pulled out his phone and ham sandwich and began to multitask.

School was slow but before long it wound down to a close. And once the bell rang the two students were gone without a trace.


Another student, a boy, was walking by the rails of the local train station. He heard a strange noise and when he turned he saw nothing. Mustve been my imagination..." turning back to continue to walk he realized he was surrounded by 3 wild dog like creatures. "Shi.." Was all he could manage as they all rushed in to attack him.


One grabbed his left leg, the other his right arm and the last one sank uts teeth into his neck. Screaming and kicking the creatures pulled the student to the ground to drag him away. Each of their sharp hooked serrated teeth dug into his flesh without mercy. "Someone save me!" He cried out, "Please!" He wasnt sure but he thought he saw another student nearby. Why were they doing this to him, these creepy human skin colored, eyeless dogs?
