Hello everyone and here is my idea of a role play that you can think of as somewhat similar to the Narnia chronicles. Below I will provide Rules, some basic information that will make up each character, and an introduction to the world of Heremus. If you know me from The Elementalists of Versaes thread, you will find the rules similar and that this is a Detailed role play. Here we go!
Rules
1. Follow all RPNation Site rules; no exceptions.
2. This role play will have heavy violence; keep in mind, torture is prevalent when it comes to war. Attacks from elements will be gory but avoid anything too grim (splattering brains out, etc.).
3. Important, love and romance is allowed but fade to black before the explicit scenes occur.
4. Profanity: Curse words are allowed in this role-play but keep to a minimum (Have you seen The Heat before? Yeah, don't follow that movies example despite how funny it is). I'll warn you if there is too much but I'm flexible.
5. Post anywhere from two to four paragraphs of quality information and dialogue. I like to see dialogue in role plays and battle scenes explained BUT you must use proper grammar and spelling. EDIT, EDIT, EDIT if you make mistakes - so, check over your responses before and after they are posted to the thread. I have trouble reading anything that does not properly convey dialogue, information, etc. You won't be kicked out for making mistakes but please be sure to EDIT all of your posts.
6. This role play will be developing new characters and plots along the way, so please use the OCC section to ask, suggest, possibly change, or bring up anything not already discussed in the plot.
7. Please use past tense and third person, except of course during conversation. Utilize the edit button! I type fast and may overlook silly mistakes in the initial post but I will edit them! No worries for silly mistakes but try to catch the obvious ones!
8. Please be active and creative! Be aware that this role play will be semi-fast paced but not enough to skip over important dialogue and plot carry out. I want this role play to make a universe with you all as part of it!
9. Since this happens in role plays with diverse players, I want you to talk with me regarding any issues or concerns, through PMs. This thread needs to be comfortable for everyone and I do not want to see negative conversations going on between each other. If anyone violates RPNation rules and courtesy guidelines, then I will ask them to leave if they can't show me a change in behavior post initial warning.
10. Life is very busy for all of us, I would rather not worry about reminding people to post, so for the convenience of us all, let's stick to posting a minimum two-three times per week BUT check into the thread EVERY day for any updates and OOC conversation even if you don't respond immediately. If this is unreasonable and something occurs in your life, please let us know in OOC or me through PM. If you are inactive with no posts to count within the week, I will remind you through PM as a warning. If you are still inactive even after the warning, your character will be booted.
11. Tagging: When dialoging with or directing actions or the like in any other way towards another role player's character, please use the appropriate tagging method, @NAMEHERE, and place it at the bottom left of your post.
12. I will enter any special characters (pre-created; mystical creatures) in this format:
~.~ ENTER: Name of Being or Creature Here ~.~
Details of entrance (e.g. actions; dialogue)
@NAMEofPLAYERHERE (if applicable)
13. Ask questions whenever and keep chat within OCC.
14. Post Character dialogue in bold with quotes, thoughts in italics, and descriptions in plain text.
