Lillian finally exited the Beginners Magic class, but Koir wasn't there for some reason. Did he just not want to show up? This puzzled her, but she just continued on to her next class. History.
As she walked in, she noticed her dormmate already there. She was sitting alone. Lillian sat next to her and tried to avoid eye contact. It's not that Lillian was avoiding her, she just didn't want to set off a bomb that could quite possibly explode. Soon a female voice began to speak and called the class to attention. Lillian stared at the female, she was quite interesting. She had bear ears and dark purple hair that made her ears stand out. Her visage did not show an older age, but it did show a quite younger face. As if she were in her late 20's maybe. The woman had bright silver eyes that were bursting in energy.
"Okay, class!" She sang. "Today we have a new student. Lillian Myerison, would you please stand?" Lillian politely stood and looked at all of the different people. That's a major thing that Lillian quite enjoyed, the difference in race/species. Lillian took her seat once more, due to the growing awkwardness as the lady carried on. "Okay, Lillian. I am Miss Moon. I will be your history teacher, obviously. Luckily, you have came at the right point in the year! We are learning about our history." Miss Moon gave her a look of sympathy. "Which, I'm sure you dont know very much about." The class looked at Lillian with question as her face turned slightly pink.
"Okay, now I shall continue with the lesson. Yes? Now, as most of you know, our school is protected by a magical barrier which keeps everything out but the students and staff at our school. Weather, of course, never seems to happen inside here. Neither do animals come in here. Why? Well, as you all know, our dimension has a dark force and dark wizard that constantly threatens our world. His name, Mr. Smiley. Our world has to protect our younger folk and that's why almost everyone in this dimension goes to this very school. Now, what does this have to do with our history? Why, this has happened before. Villans tend to rise when one becomes very power hungry. Where do these people get their power? Crystal Falls, that's where. There is a man-made lake in there that contains power if you can brew a potion right," She pauses to write things on the board. After a minute, she returns to speaking what is exactly on the board. "Core. Core is something you need to find within yourself. The stronger your core, the stronger person you are. Your core could do you something extremely good for yourself and this world. If you choose to put evil unto this world-" The bell rang. Lillian was so interested in this topic. Now she has a plan period to herself. She waved to the teacher.
"Lillian?" The teacher's voice called for her attention while the room cleared.
"Uh, yeah?"
"Enjoy your stay here. I will be glad to see you tomorrow." The teacher smiled and let her go. Lillian went out of the classroom and started towards the courtyard, where she sat alone in a corner and started reading more about the history of this place.
