Lord of Sin
Bureaucratic Saboteur
Humanity has fled Earth, leaving it to those who cherish the restoration of a world wounded by its very children. With the humans, came the monsters of old, often hidden in plain sight as they soared across the great void.
The Vampires, being old and used to long term planning, used their influence and resources to fund a massive colonial expedition to a galaxy comprised of many Red Giant stars. The galaxy was dubbed the Sanguine Spiral for its blood red hue and rotation. Few realized the irony in the Vampires plans for these worlds as colonists set forth to their new homes. It is an old galaxy, but has plenty more to give before the end.
It was a shock when the colonial contract holders unveiled themselves to be vampires. They declared the Sanguine Spiral theirs, but shockingly invited humans to come live under the security of monsters. It comes as no shock that refugees from various other wars and atrocities elected to move there. Humanity has shown itself to be violent and savage enough on its own. Blood animated corpses surprisingly seemed more tame.
Current Status
The Sanguine Spiral is ruled by the Blood League, a loose alliance of vampiric factions under the rule of the Sanguine Emperor Sikander and the Senate. Vampiric Senators debate and squabble on the floor of the Senate, representing their worlds in the League.
The League itself is built of self-governing worlds, each governed generally by a dominant faction of vampires. The five major factions vie for power or simply try to hold onto what they have.
The League also supports independent organizations to protect the groups as a whole. This includes its military, the Blood Legion; its recon force, the Void Rangers and its colonial logistics, the Crimson Way.

The Game
Players will assume the roles of vampires within the Sanguine Spiral. Preferably you will be the ruler of a world, recently having taken power or you've just started your colony. Believe it or not, humans continue to migrate to the Spiral since Vampires are often the least of their worries.
Rulers aren't the only option. You can serve under another player or enter into the more direct faction issues. Senators are also a major option for political types along with direct Imperial servants. You could even just be trying to survive in the Blood Legions or Void Rangers as an officer.
You will participate in the political intrigue and possible battles. It is not unknown for worlds to fight one another in trade or territory disputes. Vampiric society is rife with conflict as the undead pursue their agendas.
Any takers?
