I'm new, I've joined RP sites before but I've never really stuck around or bothered much to get into them because of my own lethargic behaviors.
However, this site seemed simple and decent enough and I thought I'd give it a try. I hope I'll end up liking it and becoming a legitimate member of this community rather than abandoning the site after a couple days.
I've already read through all the rules and stuff, haven't made any posts yet and I thought the best thing to do was start out here.
I've been role-playing on and off for years now. I'd say that my level of commitment to a RP will reflect my performance. If I'm very serious about a RP that I know I will thoroughly enjoy, then I my performance will be at its peak. However, I'll probably be mostly casually role-playing here, so unless I find a RP and partners that are like-minded and will fully commit, I wont be wasting my time giving out full effort to others that are playing casually.
Of course, I won't engage in RP that I know I won't stick with. I have a habit of abrupt abandonment when I realize I don't fit in with a RP or enjoy it the way I expected to. So I'm going to be more careful about selecting what I will engage in. And if I end up abandoning, I wont just abruptly do so. From now on, I'll politely excuse myself. I strongly dislike causing trouble or inconvenience despite my impulsive behavior saying otherwise. Then again, I don't know much about this site, I'm just assuming by my past behavior, and who knows, I could probably adapt very well to this site.
Anyways, I look forward to being a member of this RPnation. I'd like to make it clear that I'm not interested in making any friends, though. Just RP associates and partners. I'm here to have an imaginary interaction through my characters, not real interaction despite this being virtual.
