Hi hi! I'm super interested in possibly joining this RP, it looks fantastic! Though, I do have a small question. I mostly have characters that are yokai, as in the whole genre of supernatural creatures within Japanese mythology, and I believe two or three of my yokai characters could be fantastic teachers, however they're not listed on the lore page's species list. Can I use my yokai characters? If not, I can use other characters, it's totally fine.

I don't know a lot about them, but they seem to fit the mythoi category, which is pretty much a catch-all for established mythological creatures from various cultures, so I'd say go for it; I'll tell you if any edits need to be made to fit the lore, but I don't expect there to be any.
If any of them are demons or have something to do with the afterlife, pm me, though.

Okay, so the thing with demons is that the supernatural community knows little more about the afterlife than humans. They know that worship-based magic works on gods associated with the underworld and that the Egyptian afterlife exists to an extent, because y'know, mummies, but other than that, there isn't and shouldn't be any information available to them. On top of that, anyone who's lived for an extended period of time is unlikely to want to attend high school; maybe college, but not high school. I would suggest possibly having your character's mother be a magically-attuned vampire that tried to steal her life force and have your character have somehow gotten to Egypt, become a sensation among the people, and died in her teen years; from there, she could've been reanimated a year or two ago, allowing her to be completely reformed.
