Mizaki Tsukiyama

Location: Sakura High| Interacting with: Hachisuka Hayamoto | Mentions: StaidFoal StaidFoal

Mizaki was able to calm down as the boy reassured her, a small smile making its way to her lips again. "Well, I do prefer my friend groups to be small." she said, shrugging. She wasn't sure if that was the truth. Sure, she never felt the need to have more than a handfull of friends, but nowadays she had started to feel lonely. Mizaki had noticed Hachisuka's smile fade a little before returning to his face, causing her to wonder if he was all right. She didn't feel like this was the time and place to ask how he was holding up however, but she did make a mental note to keep an eye on him if she could.

She noticed how the crowd had started to move on, allowing for whoever hadn't yet checked the billboard to do so. Before he spoke up again, Mizaki noticed his smile had faltered once again. They didn't know each other so it would be weird of her to ask if he was okay, yet she couldn't really help herself. Just as he had finished talking, and she was sensing he was about to be on his way, she hesitantly reached out for his arm. "Are... are you alright? I'm sorry, it's not really my place to ask but... maybe I bumped into you a bit hard?" she wasn't sure what to ask and to be frank regretted this course of action straight away. It's not like she would have liked some stranger to go prying about how she was doing, and especially not this early in the morning.

Mizaki looked up at the boy, not sure how he would react. She expected him to brush it off and walk away. She felt as though she had made it rather awkward, but it was in her nature to check up on the people around her. Sometimes annoying them in the process. Not everyone appreciates being asked how they're doing, and it was something Mizaki had told herself in the past she need to work on. And yet here she was. She wanted to blame it on her lack of sleep, but even she knew she would have asked him either way.

“Well, it ain’t any of us now shove off important conversation going on here.”

Pamela's eye twitched at Goliath 1's words. This guy just ignored her like nothing!

"Listen here you-"

Another guy walked through, nit really caring about what was going on, the nerdy boy ran away and the playboy laughed at her. Pamela felt her eye twitch and her balls curl into fists. These people were making her mad, and in her first day! She didn't find the idea of going to the principal's on her first day appealing but this was for a good cause. With these boys ignoring her, it was difficult. Oh wait, they were leaving now. She couldn't let them! They didn't have a piece of her mind yet!

"Aargh..You're all making me so ANGRY!!"

Pamela zipped open her bag and pulled out a slipper, which she threw at full force at Goliath 1 and it boomeranged towards Goliath 2 and Playboy before boomeranging to her hand, which she put in her bag.

"That's what you get, idiotas"

Pamela huffed and made her way to her class.

Yuuto Kojima

Yuuto's awfully long train of thought was derailed by an "Mm..." His eyes widened when he turned to look at Yurika, stretching her arms as she woke up. Yuuto's face paled and his mind was now screaming: PANIC! PANIC! PANIC! Her glasses were off, and he noticed her pretty green eyes. As of now, more dire matters were on hand at the moment. He tried to quietly get up from the desk, but in that moment Yurika had noticed him.

She screamed, making Yuuto jump away and land with a hard 'thud.' "I-I'm sorry," he tried shouting, fixing his glasses, but instead sounding as if he were talking normally. "I-this room, I-I used to go here if I wanted p-peace and quiet, and..." he quickly ran out of words to say, spotting another pair of glasses beside him. He looked back at Yurika, also on the floor, hyperventilating and raising her arms against her chest. She looked terrified, and it only made Yuuto all the more guiltier. He quickly picked up her glasses and went over to here, kneeling down to her seated height with a concerned, nervous look. He avoided looking into her eyes, the tension clawing at his awkward-blushed face. Carefully handing her the glasses, he hurriedly muttered, "I saw you in here sleeping peacefully, and I-I just thought you looked pretty..."

Great. He's already dug himself into a grave. Just great. Thankfully, he was quick thinker. "Uh, pretty... normal?" A quick thinker, yes. Good word choice? Not by a long shot.

Hachisuka Hayamoto

Hachisuka turned to walk away, but felt Mizaki tug on his arm. He turned back in confusion when she asked, "Are... are you all right?" His mind blanked out the rest, his smile fading. He looked at her with a blank stare for two seconds. She had grabbed him out of genuine concern, unlike those rich girls who just enjoyed being around other popular kids. The only other woman in his life that had done the exact same thing was, "Himari..."

After realizing he had muttered that out loud, he ripped his arm free of her grasp, his face pale. "I'm fine!" he shouted, making the other students look at the two. Why'd I say that? Why'd I say that? He quickly took one or two breaths, then saying, "Sorry... about that. I-I'm fine, really." She did that for his sake. Why? Why did she have to remind him of her? And on the first day of school, too. Sighing one last time, he forced a smile and said, "Like I said, class is going to start soon, and if you don't wanna be late we should both get going."

He turned back again, walking away while ignoring whatever Mizaki did if she tried anything else. He didn't want another Himari Higashi; that meant a tighter leash held by Takeda Hayamoto on his son (that's what Hachi thinks). Just make it go away, just make it go away. Hachisuka wandered the hallways to his classroom. Along the way, he noticed a girl stuffing a slipper in her bag, walking away from three head injuries on two other popular guys and one giant of a man. Aside from the tons of questions that raised, Hachi skipped right by it.

By the time he reached the classroom, Hachi was back to his original self, wearing the confident smile and not giving a care in the world. He walked in, eyeing the seated students. Okay, sure, he was late. Strangely enough, he was earlier than Yuuto. "Don't worry guys, I'm right here," he said to the students, who either sighed expectantly or smiled in amusement. He then laid eyes on the rather tall, white-haired woman. He waved at her without giving another glance, walking over to an empty seat, and dismissed whatever the teacher said. As he sat and put his feet on the desk like the cliche cool guys do, the teacher shook his head, choosing not to call that out based on past experience.

She jumped a little at the sudden raise of his voice, not quite expecting it. Quickly regaining her posture, Mizaki wasn't dumb nor born yesterday, it was obvious to her that Hachisuka wasn't doing all that great. Digging deeper was out of the question as she quickly picked up that he by no means whatsoever was interested in talking about it. She let go of a breath she didn't know she was holding as he walked away, staying behind by the billboard for a little while. Curiosity arose in her; Himari? Wasn't that the name of his girlfriend? She stared in the direction Hachisuka had left in, not realizing she might be running late. Noticing there were very few students still outdoors, Mizaki started walking into the school.

The hallways were still pretty crowded, despite class starting in just a few minutes. Keeping to the wall of the corridor allowed Mizaki to walk by rather unhindered as she made her way to her classroom. Once she got there, most of her classmates were already seated. She stood in the doorway scanning the classroom for an empty seat before her eyes stopped on a girl with short, straight hair. The desk next to hers was empty, so Mizaki decided to make her way there. Once seated, Mizaki offered the girl a smile before noticing she forgot to tie her shoelaces. She was tempted to prop one foot on her chair to tie it, but quickly and luckily realized she was wearing a skirt and wasn't in the mood to flash everybody her panties.

As the rest of the students got in their seats and the teacher started with the introduction, Mizaki drifted off into her thoughts. She had been intrigued by this Hachisuka Hayamoto and was very curious to know if the rumors were true, and if so, how much of them. Had he really killed her? He seemed like a sweet guy, but she supposed anyone could put on a mask. Huh... that's kind of an eerie thought... let's not open that door. She realized his looks influenced the way she might feel inclined not to believe the rumors. Could a killer truly be good-looking and charming? Still, Mizaki felt really guilty for making him so uncomfortable and she worried she might have reminded him of something he would rather not think about. Hopefully, Mizaki hadn't ruined his day too much. She was inclined to look him up during lunch to apologize, but came to the conclusion she would probably just make matters worse. Way to ruin what could have been a friendship.

Yurika saw him fall, which she found... strange. But it was not enough to make her drop her guard. But wait, did he just apologize as well? She didn't react to his words, she just kept staring at him, watching his every move.

When he suddenly picked up something from the floor, got up and walked towards her, she got startled. She kicked the floor, pushing herself just a few centimeters away from him. With each step he took towards her, she trembled more and more. What is that? Why was he coming for her? She made her frame as small as she could out of fear.

But then, he kneeled in front of her and extended his hand, holding something out to her. Why did he stop? She didn't know, but couldn't feel any ill intent. For the first time, she drops her guard and stares at his hand. Could it be...? She slowly extended her hand toward his, hesitating once, then took what was in it. She recognized the feeling instantly, it was her glasses. She put then on and finally recognized the boy. "The tackler..." She whispered to herself, though he could hear her clearly. She relaxes a bit now that she had her glasses on, visibly stopping trembling and breathing slower.

Now with her head clearer, she could process what he had been saying. So he used to use this room? She never saw anyone else there but herself, until today. And he called her pretty...

"Please..." She sighs, then looks away, looking exhausted. "Don't do that. Even if you find me... pretty." She didn't think she was pretty at all, but the tall girl did call her cute earlier. She wondered if something was different today. The fact that she was able to think such things showed that she didn't see the boy as a threat anymore, for the most part.

Hana Takesheta
Location:
School Hallway
Mentions: Doughnut Doughnut (Masato)
Interactions: frogmilk frogmilk (Mizaki Tsukiyama)

Hana Takesheta booked it out from that hallway of horrors as fast as her legs would move her, taking especial care not to trip over her own feet that caused her to careen into Masato head over heels. She was still red faced from embarrassment over the whole situation. It was so unlike her. That kiss though was what truly through her off balance. She wasn't expecting it and it was unwanted. Right?

Hana arrived at the classroom and took an open seat. It seemed that there were many open seats still. Strange that there were still people out in the hallway when the class bell was about to go off. Especially on the first day of all days. Not a good first impression to give to your teachers. You only get one chance to make a first impression and if you decided to be late on your very first day of classes. that will stick in the teacher's minds forever. That is a stigma that is difficult to come back from without a lot of hard work.

She sat calmly into the seat and got out her notebook so that she would be ready to take notes as soon as the teacher started the lesson. She was ever prepared, which was why the fall into Masato and the sudden kiss had frazzled her so badly. She wasn't ready for it and wasn't prepared for it. And having been betrothed, made it a very precarious thing.

But still. Her fingers gently moved up to her lips and caressed where Masato's lips had touched hers. It was her first kiss. Both quick and in fact, lasting eternity. He took that from her. Or alternatively gave that to her. She was so conflicted on it. Not in the least because he treated it as though it were nothing and that she was nothing. Calling her plain. But if it was nothing, than why would he take the kiss as an apology? She just couldn't wrap her head around it. Especially the part of her that liked it. That part, at least for just a moment, just a fraction of time, made her feel that she could be wanted by someone else other tha who she was already promised to.

Hana was torn away from this process of thought by a girl with dark hair sitting down next to her and giving her a smile. Almost absentmindedly, she smiled back. Perhaps she should just throw out this line of thought and get on with her day. "Good morning. My name is Hana Takesheta, what's yours?"

Yuuto Kojima

"Y-You saw that?"
he blurted, face flushing red with embarrassment. "I-I didn't mean to crash into her, s-she--it was an accident."

She looked away, pleading for him to not do it again, only making Yuuto all the more ashamed of his actions. His mind was full of adrenaline at the moment, and he couldn't think of what to say for at least a minute. When he took some audible breaths, his stuttering seemed to go away for the moment as he found the right words. "I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking right when I came in here." He looked around the room, remarking to himself the work Yurika put into making it like a classroom for whatever purpose. Fond memories of the place flooded back as well. "I would stay here almost all the time in my First Year. Then I made a friend, and I left this place to collect dust in my absence." Yuuto quickly realized that he was speaking his thoughts, and the embarrassment instantly returned.

He guessed that the pretty comment had affected her a little, as it would to any shy person. Yuuto didn't mean to let the comment about her looks slip, but taking it back would make him a far worse person. So, he sucked it up and let her go on. It wasn't normal for him to have a conversation like this, but sometimes silence didn't cut it. As a shy person himself, Yuuto could have an educated guess as to what she was thinking. She knew that he thought she was pretty, a very unfortunate slip of the tongue. She must've been panicking about the possible outcomes...

"D-Don't worry, I'm not going to kiss you," he began, desperately hoping that he knew what he was doing. "I mean, I don't know anyone who would kiss people they knew for less than a day." Right after saying that, the playboy Masato came to mind. "I mean, some people do, but from what I've seen they either do it as part of some sick dare or..." The girls fawning over Hachisuka even after Himari's death came to mind, those selfish jerks. "Or they're just trying to manipulate someone's feelings for personal gain." He wanted to assure Yurika and make her feel safer, and at the time he felt that saying this was the best course to take. He looked away from her once more, realizing that this much talk of romance might become awkward. "S-So don't worry about me. I'm not like those people. Besides, I'm sure there's already someone you have your eye on, who's much more..." Better than me.

KAGURA MINAMOTO

Place: theater club room, 2nd year classroom

Kagura woke up early, in the first day for school she had many responsibilities as a theater club member, some more as a student council member, and certainly many more as the president of the ethics and discipline committee.

She gave herself a last look on the mirror, her uniform was impecable and well ironed, not a single wrig on the fabric and not a hair out of place in her ponytail hairstyle. And of course, honouring her nickname of 'elementary schoolgrader', she ensured her skirt reached to her knees, because a proper lady dress properly.

'Oh I almost forgot', she said to herself as she took a white armband from her night bed, it had the logo of the Sakura High school on it, it looked well on her black uniform, but she smiled thinking in her nickname -the 'gestapo'- and thought 'I do look like a nazi'.

As soon as she got her glasses she got 'look' that characterised her, so composed, so serious and so ... boring.

She entered in the school when there wasn't any student yet, she went to the student council meeting room, she did a little paperwork and left some yellow chrisantemum flowers on the table, she did the same in the ethic and discipline committee, and finally in the theatre club also. She took a look on the flowers and touched its petals gently.

She walked to leave the theatre but as she walked until she heard a grind, she realised she was walking on the wooden floor of the little stage that theatre clubd had to practise, as she turned she found herself in front of a few empty seats.

She would have normally gone straight to the hallways to supervise the students, but as she was alone she decided to take a break of her stressing responsabilities.

She closed her eyes, put her right hand against her chest and extended her left arm aiming to an unexistent fellow actor, she finally cleared her throat and said:

"But once I kill you, you beautiful, fake woman, I do not know the magic that could bring you back. When I’ve plucked this rose, I can’t make it grow again; it will have no choice but to wither and die.
Oh, that sweet breath almost convinces me not to kill you and carry out justice. One more, one more kiss. If you’re this beautiful when you’re dead, I’ll kill you and then love you afterward.
One more, and this is the last".

She giggled covering her mouth with the hand, it was fun to act that scene of Othello, especially because nobody was seeing, but as her giggle slowly dissapeared and returned to her normal cold expression, her funny break ended too and it was time to come back to her duties.

She walked out the school theatre and helped some students to find their classrooms with the politeness that characterised her, she helped to solve some disagreements, although one or two might have passed unnoticed, "a boy kissed a girl without her consent?" she said barely able to hide her surprise after hearing about an episode of sexual harassment, "and a gaij... an exchange student almost got into a fight?, she replied to the information provided by another Ethics and Discipline Committee member, although usually it was more a gossip than reliable information, she sighed regretting having lost valuable time in her secret performance, tomorrow she would be earlier to supervise the students.

However, she went to her classroom, she entered carrying a brown leather briefcase, she could heard a few boys and girls talking immediately as she entered, she was used to that, and really don't care if they hate her or love her, she ignored them completely and simply sat took a book and started reading.

First row of the class of course, where the 'good students' teacher's pets sit.

Interactions: Open

A sigh of relief hit Jackson like a ton of bricks as the ‘hallway of drama’ finally seemed to settle down, god knows how much time he had wasted in this random hallway but he wasn’t happy that was for sure he was no place closer to finding his classroom which is what caused him to enter this hallway in the first place. ‘The hallway of drama’ still had a few things to throw at him before his hunt could carry on, A small chuckle escaped Jackson’s mouth at the tall boy’s response it was perfect just what he wanted to hear. Jackson and this guy would get along great if the tallish boy could get past the initial reaction that most people have to Jackson’s personality but that was still a long long way off yet as so far the two had only been at each other throats.

The last thing the ‘hallway of drama’ had to throw at him was something literal a slipper. It seemed the short Latino girl was not happy with the response Jackson gave even if it was the truth. The physical signs told Jackson one thing that he had made her angry something he seemed to specialize in as on the first day he has managed to piss off two people, two more in one day and it would be his new record. Jackson turned away about to walk off before he felt something hit him in the back, it was a slipper, the small girl had thrown a slipper at him, biting his tongue Jackson simply walked off throwing his middle finger up at the girl as he did. He was doing a great job at making friends so far.

Jackson had one goal to find his classroom, this was his original goal and the only reason he in the first place had entered the ‘hallway of drama’ but he had made zero progress on it. Taking a left down one hallway and a right down the other Jackson froze outside a classroom door, double-checking the classroom numbers compared to what he remembered he had finally found it, his classroom this whole time if he had taken the left at the end of the first hallway he had entered he would have been there and would have avoided the earlier drama.

Jackson entered the classroom, ducking down in order to get through the doors clearly not made for someone of his height and took a seat right at the back of the room. This was actually out of compassion rather than wanting to be one of the bad boys at the back of the room after all, who wants a giant blocking them from being able to see the teacher. The second Jackson sat down is the second his head hit his desk after all the drama he had been apart of today this was the first real bit of peace and quiet he has had all day.

English was probably one of the easiest subjects for Kento and Masato due to the work of their parents. Having needed the language on multiple occasions otherwise they wouldn’t understand a single thing of the guests they had met. It was an advantage for high school indeed, not needing to study much for the subject and still succeeding. The rest of the class was pretty boring, except the fact that he got seated next to his cousin once again. It really felt like the teachers were actually aiming for that to happen.

Once class ended, Kento immediately got up, taking his lunch box out of his bag and almost fleeing out of the room. One could compare him to the roadrunner to a certain extent. Anything for getting out of the boredom that lingered around there.

Eyes shifting over the people, making sure he didn’t bump into one at his speed. He really didn’t want to crash into another person for the second time today. Especially not into the goliath. Hell, he might be seriously murdered if he did that again. But… the guy did say “like” while looking at him… Stop. No. Don’t think about it, it wasn’t worth the time as there was a high chance of him misunderstanding it. Shaking his head as he tried to get it out of his system.

Sighing out of relief as he safely managed to get to the cafeteria. Almost celebrating for it. Maybe a little overreacted, but still… The drama was seriously upped this year. And here he thought he was going to have it easy. Rubbing the bridge of his nose as he sat down at an empty table at one of the windows so he could look outside. The weather was good but he just didn’t feel like eating outside as mostly he would be attacked by bees or something. Call it bad luck.

The food still looked good despite having been shaken up due to the running from today. One good thing that finally happened. Starting to eat in a calm demeanour as it was never good to rush on eating.

English was easy as usual, Kento was the same. The cousins were pretty good at the language after all with a good reason for it. Stretching out his arms as he saw Kento speeding off again, the guy really hated to be in a classroom for too long. Well, Masato was the same but he didn’t really care anymore, as long as he didn’t need to sit still and listen to the endless ramblings of the teachers. Despite his reputation, he was actually a pretty good student, not letting himself be distracted in class even though girls did ask for it. He wondered if he should go and sit with his cousin for a change, the other wouldn’t dislike it… probably.

Taking out a juice pack from his backpack together with his bento box. Sipping from it, letting the tangy taste flow through his mouth while walking out of the classroom. Since the weather was nice, he could probably go and eat outside. In the summer it tended to be too hot to even be outside, and then he didn’t even start on the humidity… It was heaven and hell at the same time. Though, he could probably go to Disneyland then. Perhaps with Kento? They both loved amusement parks so that was bound to happen anyway.

With these thoughts streaming through his mind, he walked through the hallways, up to the courtyard where picnic benches were at.

An accident? Yeah, right. She saw his blissful face after Miyuku stood up. She didn't believe a word of that. But what she did believe was him using this room before her. He did seem like a shy guy, very awkward. He probably needed some time alone, just like herself. She sympathized with him, somewhat. She knew she was not the only person in the school that needed time alone. But he... he said he found a friend and left. Maybe she would leave this place behind as well? She turned her head in his direction, cautiously looking at his face. She wanted to know... "How did you-" She said in a very weak voice, but he spoke again.

...Kiss her? She didn't think he would kiss her. Why would anyone... She froze mid-thought while listening to his words. Why would she... Her chest hurt, but her mind told her he was right. There was no reason for why she did that. There is nothing to gain from feeding her lies like that, from kissing... No. Maybe it was a dare. It was not the first time people had approached her as some sort of test of courage, or even peer pressure. She shook her head, trying to erase those thoughts from her head. But the thought still lingered on the back of her mind.

"It's fine." She tried to stand but her legs were still weak, so she grasped the desk beside her to use as support. "You don't need to apologize." She stared down at the floor, hiding her eyes behind her bangs. "You are right. You are different from them." Despite agreeing with him, she didn't sound comforted at all. In fact, she sounded colder than before, as if pushing him away.

Yurika walked a few steps to her desk and retrieved her bag. She opened it, making sure everything was there, then closed it again. "You can keep using the classroom if you want." She put on her bag and left the room, not looking at him again.

Even smaller gurl.png Miyuku chatted with some of the students in her class, many of them having more questions to ask her. One boy even tried to ask her out, but she calmy shut him down causing some chittering in the room. She took him out into the hall away from the class. When he came back in Miyu was gone but the rejected boy had a smile on his face. What she had said to him one could only imagine.

The girl made her way down the halls back to that empty room she was in with...Yurika the girl she kissed...But instead, she found the guy she accidentally planted her boobs onto. "
Oh it's you, I guess you've seen Yurika by the look on your face. Anyway, I guess I'll go find her..." She said as she walked towards the obviously nervous and confused boy. "If you wanted to touch me, you should have just asked." She cooed giving the short student a hug, his face firmly planted in her chest.

And then she was gone.

Quickly walking down the halls she saw the familiar shape of the small white-haired girl that caused so many events today. "
Um, Hey, are you busy? I was wondering if you'd have lunch with me.." Miyuku said as she walked up to the girl, smiling and blushing.

Yurika had just left the fake classroom a minute ago with no destination in mind. At first, she didn't know it was already recess, but she figured it out because of the other students leaving their classrooms. She wasn't very hungry, but she thought she might as well eat something. As she thought that a familiar voice spoke to her. It took her a few seconds to realize it was actually talking to her and turn around. "Oh, it's you." She stared up at her dumb red face. She stopped herself from thinking she was lovely. "I have time. But I have to go buy lunch."

It was strange that she didn't outright refuse to eat with her. Was she comfortable with it? Maybe. Still, she occasionally glanced around to see if people were watching them talk. Luckily, most students were too hungry to mind other people's business. But not wanting to stay there for long, she turns around, readying herself to walk down the hallway. "...Are you coming?"

Yuuto Kojima

Why did I talk to her about kissing? Of course that wasn't what she was thinking! She must see me as a weirdo... Yurika stood up, using the desk as a support. Of course, she was also taller than him, making Yuuto roll his eyes, which was fine considering that she hid her eyes. Yurika told him that he didn't need to apologize, which would've been a relief if she hadn't said it so coldly. It was as if she wanted to get out then and there. His heart sank, mind racing. Was it something I said? Think, Yuuto, think! Maybe this is just how shy people are? No, stupid! I'm a shy person, too! Why did one of the few times I chose to talk with someone I barely knew end up like this? Why did I even keep talking to her to begin with? Yuuto was rendered speechless as she continued speaking, as if she was trying to be kind but thinking every bad term in her head.

The door slammed shut, snapping Yuuto out of his mini breakdown. He was alone, now, aside from the guilt that stuck at him like a tumor. He leaned against one of the desks, breathing faster and more worrisome than he'd realized. He hoped that he didn't ruin her day just from this one conversation. This was exactly why he hated talking to people in the first place! The door to the fake classroom opened again, and he shuddered, clearly expecting to see Yurika walk in. Instead, it was someone far more terrifying.

"Y-You..?" Yuuto knew he was in danger. The towering behemoth of a woman, hair white as snow and eyes red as blood, stood before him. She was going to kill him for accidentally assaulting her, this was how his life would end. The white-haired girl walked up to him, towering overhead. Miyuku mentioned Yurika, and Yuuto's mind ran rampant. Is she Yurika's big sister? Yurika must've told her what I said, and now she's going to kill me... Like with that giant of a boy, Yuuto was frozen from fear once more. She said what he assumed was a threat before stretching her arms around his short stature. His face was implanted into her chest again, and his mind imploded into total disarray.

He had blacked out, waking up in the fake room classroom to find that he was alone. He sat up, frantically looking around for the woman. Yuuto fell on his back, his breathing returning to normal. He muttered, "Ki-Kisama..." those large honkers haunting his mind like PTSD. Yuuto snapped out after some time, and he stood up and hurriedly darted out of the room.

Checking his phone, Yuuto's mind yelled in horror for the umpteenth time. It was already lunch break. He skipped almost every class on his first day of.

"Yuuto!" a voice called. The nerdy boy excitedly looked at the source, the first sign of relief; Hachisuka. "You look like you've been through hell and back!"

Hachisuka Hayamoto

As to be expected, class was slowgoing and boring. The only thing on Hachi's mind was Yuuto's empty desk. Seconds turned to minutes, and those minutes turned to hours. Before he knew it, class was over and it was lunch break. Still, no sign of Yuuto. He was a tad bit concerned for his small friend, but he figured that there was a good reason for his absence. He parted from the other rich kids, separating into another hallway. As he did, a familiar short boy burst out of an unmarked storage room. "Yuuto!" he called out with a wave. "You look like you've been through hell and back!"

Hachisuka walked over to him, instinctively ruffling his hair. Yuuto was briefly annoyed, but popped up a smile after a second. "You're not wrong, Hachi. I'll tell you during lunch," the shy kid spoke.

Yup. Everything was going to be fine. His first day as a Third Year was going to end well. It had to. Who cared if some girl showed genuine kindness? So what if she brought back those painful memories? What happened was one year from now; in the past, never to be brought up again. He didn't need any therapists, and he wasn't mentally unstable. Especially not after his father tried hiring one to help him, just to tighten the leash--"Hachi, are you listening?"

He snapped back to reality, smiling back at Yuuto. "If I have to be honest... No." Yuuto scoffed jokingly. They arrived the cafeteria, unpacking their lunches as he repeated what made him absent.

Pam couldn't really say her class was boring. It was a bit interesting, so to say. Many students were curious about some student council beauty. She had to admit, this girl was a guapetona with her cute accent and her hair and face. Other than that, everything was normal. Pam was a bit excited for Japanese Literature since Japanese people had a reputation for their scary stories. Sadly, no scary stories were present in the class. Just plain literature. It was a bit interesting though.

The bell rang and Pamela was among the many that sprinted their way out of class, to the cafeteria. After a bit of walking, she realized she wasn't in the kitchen-like area. She was lost..Again.

"Ay, mierda.."

Classtime proceeded quickly and without incident, though her mind truly wasn't on the actual class activities and what was being taught. It continued to lose focus and travel back to this morning's events. The emotions and feelings that were coursing through her. It was abhorrent that part of her even liked the kiss. Perhaps it was just the actually kiss which was little more than a peck, itself and not the fact that it was given to her by Misato in the manner that he had done so. She hadn't been kissed before and if word got out, which it most certainly would, she would be ruined.

Best to just try and pretend that it never even happened then. Deny. Deny. Deny. During her thoughts, she realized that she was walking on autopilot and following the girl in front of her. All of a sudden, she realized that they weren't in the cafeteria, but another part of the school. She must have been following a new transfer student who had never been at this school before. Now was her time to shine.

Hana walked over to the girl and bowed her head slighty. "Hello, I am Hana Takesheta and you seem to be lost. Perhaps I can help you find the lunchroom?" She gave a small smile and slightly tilted her head, letting her short hair sway slightly as she spoke.

Pamela would've noticed the girl behind her, if not for the two of them walking at the same pace, making their footsteps echo in the room, making her think she was alone. The girl's voice made her jump in surprise.

"Hello, I am Hana Takesheta and you seem to be lost. Perhaps I can help you find the lunchroom?"

"Pero que..? I am not lost! If anything, you seem like the lost one here! Can't I get used to the school without being bothered?"

Her voice was outright harsh and she knew it. She didn't need any help! She could find Jose and the cafeteria by herself. Pamela walked off to some random direction and dissapeared for about a minute, before finding her way back.

Pouting and crossing her arms, her cheeks a bit pink from embarrassment, Pam told Hana

"Okay, maybe I do need help.. I-It's just 'cuz I don't feel like memorizing the school routes anymore! Not because I actually need help or anything!"

Miyuku Kozaki

Even smaller gurl.png Miyuku looked down at Yurika, both of them were blushing, and to anyone watching it would be seen as a cute quiet moment in the school halls, if Miyu didn't immediately take Yurika's hand and begin to walk to the Cafeteria, interlocking their fingers and keeping the small girl close to her side. "You can call me Miyu by the way, or Senpai, that works too." She said with a wink and a smile. Clearly enjoying herself, being around this girl, keeping her close. Safe, like a guardian, someone she'd want to protect at all costs. Why she felt so protective, Miyu couldn't tell you but she did and she would.

"Here we are." She stated, taking Yurika into the very large cafeteria and be lining for the quiet table in the back corner, as far from everyone else as possible. It wasn't for herself, but for Yurika, the poor dear was definately super shy if not...Afraid of people. So it just seemed logical. "Want to have some of my lunch?" Miyuku giggled while sitting down and putting down her large bento box.

Kagura remained in the 2nd year classroom a few minutes after most of students had left, she was discussing some issues with the teacher, she had been the class president the previous year and she will be until students choose a new one, therefore some paperwork need to be done. She bowed the teacher and left the classroom thanking for the class, she loved Japanese literature, and literature in general.

As she walked to the lunchroom carrying two bentos, she saw two students, one of them a foreigner -"a ... foreigner, another foreigner", she thought-, they were of 2nd year just like herself, but she didn't remember having seen them before and as the foreigner girl looked confused she thought they might be new students.

She walked to them and bowed politely, and with a polite and barely visible smile told them "Good afternoon, my name is Minamoto, Kagura, president of the ED committee, nice to meet you, if you are looking for the lunchroom this is an informative tryptich that might be of help".

She extended two tryptichs to them, it has Sakura High map and other useful information, but didn't explain what was 'ED' committee or why whe wore a white armband with the school logo on it. "In any case if you are looking for the lunchroom you must follow this hallway, the schedule for lunching is from 13.00 hours to 14:00 hours", her tone was still polite but it didn't hide the fact that she was a person used to give instructions or even orders to other people.

However her aura of authority and confidence was broken when two girls passed nearby pretending to cough while mocking Kagura: "cof-cof-Gestapo-cof-cof". She seemed indifferent to the comment anyway.

Daisuke took his bamboo sword and stood up when the class finished, he didn't like math but he was still a good student -as if he had a choice to be otherwise- after bowing the teacher and telling "No, sensei, I don't think any student will cause any troubles", although names were not mentioned it wasn't difficult to see the teacher was referring to Jackson, whose size seemed to impress the poor and nerdy-looking math teacher.

He went to the lunchroom, thinking his cousin Kagura had already told some teachers he had been part of the ethics committee back in the middle school and had experienced helping troubling students, not only that she had given him an informative tryptich in advance, and she even had told him in which table of the lunchroom she'll be waiting for him. Of course, she had sent a picture of the table and a diagram of the lunchroom to his cellphone, 'You exagerate a LITTLE, Ka-chan' he messaged her through his cellphone.

He walked to the hallway, he knew that Kagura didn't send all that info for nothing, anyway, she had told him she wanted him to join the Ethics and Discipline Committee, he enjoyed spending time with her since they complemented their work mutually, but being around putting order and some fear like they in middle school wasn't an appealing idea now. Perhaps he could avoid her until the classes finished just like he had avoided crossing paths with the giant boy who sat in the last row of the class.

But no, there it was a message of Kagura telling him that she'll be in that table to lunch with him in 10 minutes, which in Kagura language meant he should be there by that time and not a minute after. He sighed and walked when another message from her came, 'get me some 🍊 🍊 🍊 sodas if you have time, su-kun. I have something 4U'.

That chat made him think about joining the EDC again, she was probably the only person who called him that way, it was nice to having someone he could speak freely and who didn't call him 'young master', 'minamoto-san' or any other honorific, and viceversa, perhaps he could give the EDC a chance.

Hachisuka Hayamoto

Not even five seconds after sitting down did Yuuto suddenly say that he left "something important" in the "empty storage room you found me in." Yuuto didn't give any specifics for whatever reason, and Hachi guessed that he didn't want to say what it was around the crowd of people in the cafeteria. Hachisuka laughed a bit before he stood up and found himself in the halls. He walked the opposite direction of most other students, following a mental map of the school. While walking, he instinctively waved at passersby, his mind wandering off to irrelevant thoughts. Eventually, he found the storage room, which to his surprise was rearranged into a classroom. He quickly shrugged it off, though, searching for whatever looked out of the ordinary. After some time, it became clear that it wasn't there.

Hachi left the room thinking somebody had taken it. Then a woman had angrily stomped around a corner, looking around in random directions. She stomped back the way she came, and he curiously followed. She was a foreigner; he could tell from her accent. She was asking another girl for help, then quickly asserting that it was because she was too lazy to "memorize the school routes." He smirked to himself, the scene reminding him of his own First Year. Another girl stepped into the conversation, introducing herself as Minamoto, Kagura. She spoke so formally that Hachisuka thought that she was one of the teachers. Some random girls passed by, calling Kagura "Gestapo" for whatever reason there was. She didn't appear phased by it, so he believed that it didn't matter too much.

He would've walked right past them, seeing as the exchange student already had two helping hands. However, there was still the matter of Yuuto's "important thing," whatever it was. They probably knew nothing, but it was worth asking. Kagura wore the school logo on her sleeve, and Hachi guessed that the ED committee was a sort of school police thing. "Hey, you're drowning the poor exchange student in formality," Hachi said to Kagura, rounding the corner.

He looked down at Pamela, of course wearing his confident smile. "I couldn't help but overhear that you were lost. Do you need a man to escort you?" After two seconds, Hachi let out a small laugh. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding, I'm sure you're capable of walking through hallways." This was how he made small talk with his friend(s), so he could only hope that they shared the same sense of humor. "By the way," he began, "have any of you seen anyone carrying something out of place? Maybe someone making sure if something was always in his pocket or something like that? You see, my friend lost something important and he didn't tell me any details, so..." He calmly put his hands on his head, looking over their heads for anything, really.

Yuuto Kojima

When Hachi left the cafeteria, Yuuto slowed his breathing. As they were walking to the cafeteria, Yuuto was coming up with a plan on what to do. It was clear (to him) that Yurika had a low opinion of him. Whether it was about the talk of kissing or not, Yuuto wanted to clear things up. Hachi would only make things unnecessarily difficult, which was why he sent him on a wild goose chase. When it came to apologies, which Yuuto rarely had to do, he found that just leaving it alone sufficed, and the other person involved would forget about it. When it came to Yurika, though... He didn't know what it was, but it was driving him to walk up to her and actually say sorry for once.

Yuuto stood from the table, looking around the room. In the corner table, farthest from the other students, was Yurika. However, his plan quickly hit a wall. The Barbarian Queen, guilty of what he could imagine was several hundred smothering attempts, was the only one sitting next to Yurika, and he did not want to have another run-in. The picture made Yuuto briefly wonder if the rumors were true; that Yurika really was part of the Yakuza. Where else would she have gotten such an intimidating femme fatale as a bodyguard? He quickly shook those thoughts out of mind, remembering that she could easily have been her older sister.

Yuuto shrunk back into his seat in defeat. The apology he prepped himself up for would have to wait until Ms. Barbarian was gone. For now he would wait, glancing every now and then at Yurika and her bodyguard.

Looked away at her wink shyly. "Miyu it's fine. I like it." Yurika stayed close to her, partially because she was nervous people would see them, which they did. But that was not the only reason.

As they got to the cafeteria Yurika stopped for a moment. The place was PACKED. Probably because the new guys wanted to test the food here on their first day, which she found fair. If the food here was bad she would want to bring her own food with her as soon as possible. Miyuku pulled her in, taking her to the table at the corner. She appreciated this, letting out a small smite without noticing.

This smile disappeared with the mention of her lunch, which brought her back to reality. Yurika nodded, but was glancing at the line of kids wanting to buy lunch all that time. She didn't come here just to eat. "I want to show you something. Wait here." Yurika stood up and formed the line to buy her lunch.

The line disappeared fairly quickly. The staff here were hardened veterans of the food selling industry. Not a problem so far, just the usual glancing and whispering in her direction. Once at the front, she ordered the cheapest meal, which was pretty much a children's menu. She paid and left, walking towards Miyu, but then it happened. "Oh, sorry." A boy had bumped with her, hitting her pretty hard in the shoulder and scattering half her food on the floor. Though he apologized, it was in a monotone voice and didn't even stop to see if she was ok. The guy just kept walking out of the cafeteria.

Yurika looked at her tray, then at Miyuku. Stopped for a moment and suddenly threw the tray, rest of the food and all, to the side. Now all of her food lay scattered on the floor. She walked back to her table with Miyuku and let off a sigh. "I usually buy my food outside. The front guard lets me out when I ask."

The girl was definitely a foreigner and very rude. What was it with being so disrespectful today on the first day of school of all days? She watched as the girl clearly still needed the help since she continued down the wrong hallway. She probably would have giggled about it if she wasn't so sure that the other girl would become violent and attack her. There was something about the anger that she was currently possessing at something so small such as needing help finding the lunchroom. It wasn't like she was asking her for a kiss and then planting one right on her lips.

Hana was about to leave to head to the lunchroom by herself when the girl stormed back, looking sheepish and blushed. She was about to actually offer help when KAGURA MINAMOTO and offered them maps. Wait. She thought that she was a new student too. What?

Hana's mind went back to the plain comment. Was she really so plain that she blended into the background and other students in her own grade thought she was new. This was a huge blow to her. Plain. Perhaps she was plain. Nothing special and just ordinary. That was an upsetting thought. Her shoulders slumped slightly.

Before she could correct Kagura, another student walked by and called her Gestapo. That's right. She had heard rumors about Kagura being a stickler for the rules and very intense. At least she was not on her bad side. Hopefully she wouldn't ever end up on her bad side.

Things got from confusing to worse when Hachisuka Hayamoto. There were some nasty rumors going around him and it wouldn't be wise for any girl to be alone with him. Then you might end up dead. It was a terrifying thought and she was shivering inside. But with those types, you really couldn't let the fear show. Thye'd know and then pounce on you like a tiger about to consume it's prey. And Hana didn't want to be anyone else's prey today. She already had enough of one kind of hunter and didn't want to end up dead from another.

Hana stood in front of Pamela looking defensive. "We haven't seen anyone. maybe check back in the cafeteria. No one has walked by in this direction."

Mizaki watched as students left the classroom. She hadn't yet made up her mind on where she wanted to eat, luckily she had brought her own lunch. This way she could avoid the lines that always formed in the cafeteria. The sun hit her through the window and she squinted slightly, looking out through it. It was a nice day, an "eat outside" kind of day. Lunch time was always a struggle for Mizaki as most of her friends didn't even attend the school and she really didn't enjoy eating alone in front of people. She contemplated whether she should just skip lunch, no need to eat alone then, right?

Hesitantly, she stood up, hands on the desk. She awkwardly picked up her backpack and made her way to the door, slowly, so she'd still have time to think about where to eat. She would have stayed in the classroom if it wasn't because there were small groups of students still in there. The alternatives were to find someone she kind of knew or find a place where she could be alone. To be honest, she wasn't quite in the mood to embarass herself anymore today, so opted for just eating alone somewhere. As a freshman she had never really gotten to explore the school all that much, so she decided to just see where the halls would take her.

As Mizaki carefully navigated the halls this time, making sure not to trip and fall into someone, a small gathering of students appeared before her. She immediately recognized the pink hair and contemplated just turning around. Around him was three girls from her own class. She recognized Kagura Minamoto, as she had seen her around before, and Hana Takeshata had introduced herself when Mizaki walked in the classroom. She was unsure of the other one's name, though from her looks she guessed she was foreign. South American, perhaps? Without noticing, Mizaki had slowed down and eventually come to a halt, looking at the group. Mizaki wanted to ask the girls from her class if maybe she could have lunch with them, but she was really unsure if she should go up to them, seeing as Hachisuka was there.

Seeing as she would have to pass by anyways, Mizaki decided to approach the group, though hesitantly. She wondered why Hana had such a defensive stance, as if she was protecting the foreign girl from Hachisuka. Mizaki gave the group a confused look. "W-Who are you looking for?" She was hesitant to ask, but maybe she could help. Looking up at Hachisuka, she quickly looked away. She wasn't sure why but she suddenly felt shy in his presence. She almost felt as thought it might have been best to just slip by unnoticed, unsure how he would react to seeing her again.

Miyuku Kozaki

Miyuku watched the entire display silently. Yurika was making a point, showing just how people treated her. There's no way anyone actually believed she was part of the Yakuza, no, they wouldn't bully someone who'd put them in danger. They bullied her because they could because it was easy, everyone was doing it. A herd mentality. It was disgusting, but it was also disappointing to see Yurika just went along with it. She decided that her current fate was her only option. It was sad to see for Miyu, who lived her life as she decides, watching others conform to each others whims without really making their own choices.

Standing up, the red-eyed woman walked to the center of the cafeteria. "
Mr.Kusokabi " She called out. The boy who had just insulted her new friend stopped just short of leaving the room, freezing place and slowly turning around. "Your family has ties to the Kozaki family, do they not?" He swallowed nervously and nodded. "Then you know who I am." She spoke before leading him outside the Cafeteria.

A few minutes later they both came back in. The look on the boy's face was unrecognizable but it was obvious she had said something that made him nervous or scared? It was impossible to tell. He walked right to Yurika and bowed heavily, apologizing loud enough for the entire room to hear before taking a final leave and vanishing into the halls. Miyu then turned her attention to the other students. "Anyone who partakes in harmful rumors, bullying, or any misconduct against another student will answer to the Student Council, especially against Ms.Orihara." When she finished, the room was silent until she made a gesturing motion and the room slowly began to refill with noise.

Taking her seat next to Yurika, Miyu began to prepare her lunch.

When Miyuku called out the boy and took him outside, all of the eyes on the cafeteria were glued to the door they just used. Most people began whispering immediately. Though it was only whispering, the room was incredibly noisy. "Isn't that the student council's giant?" "Yeah. He is probably in trouble." "Man I hate those council guys. Always bossing us around." "Is she crazy? Since when do council members defend delinquents?" "Maybe she got hired by that yakuza girl." "Haha, I bet." Noisy whispering. Yurika did not expect her to be so forward about helping her, and neither did them.

But then, Miyuku and the boy came back in. Yurika tilted her head, not understanding the boy's expression. Why was he so afraid? But before she could think about it the boy walked up to her. She recoiled, shielding herself with her hands. The boy looked at her... weird, with a look between fear and frustration, which put her on edge. Then he bowed deeply. "I'm very sorry Ms. Orihara!!" He screamed, loud enough for everyone to head, but also so loud that it took Yurika a few seconds to understand what he just said. "It won't happen again! I will be more careful!" He took some money out of his pocket and put it on the table in front of her, then he walked out of the cafeteria.

The room was in shock. Nobody said a word. But the person shocked the most was Yurika. She just sat there with her eyes wide open, holding her breath. She went from staring at the cafeteria door, to the money on the table, to the many people looking at her, to Miyuku. She... she didn't know what to think. It was too much. But it didn't stop there. Miyuku proceeded to make an ultimatum. Was she going to protect her? No... she was going to make it worse! Now everyone will look at her more. Now people would see Miyu as an enemy and hurt her. Hurt her... Yurika didn't want that to happen. Then... why was she happy? "No..." She looked down, hiding behind her bangs.

As Miyuku dismissed the onlookers, they began awkwardly going back to chat between themselves. Most of them went back to talk about what they were talking about before, but you could still hear some talking about them. Some were flabbergasted that Miyuku was actually standing up to the dangerous girl, some were criticizing her for not minding her own business, some called her self-righteous... but some were actually happy that someone finally did something to help the poor little girl. There were all kinds of opinions. Buy Yurika didn't sit there for longer. Some drops of water fell from her face to the table, though none of the students noticed. She then stood up and walked out of the cafeteria, not saying a word.

But she did not go far. She couldn't. The moment the door closed behind her, she took a few steps to the side and crouched next to the door. She wanted to run away from everyone, to hide from their gaze, to go somewhere quiet, but couldn't leave behind that strange girl determined to destroy her world. She didn't know what to do, so she cried in silence.
