One x One Saint Adrian's School for the Supernatural

Name: Amy Sanders

Age: 18

Ability: Elemental (Earth)

Personality: Quiet, shy, friendly, clumsy

Bio: The only daughter of a two wealthy couple. All her life she grew up with her getting everything she could ever want, from any of the most expensive doll house to a real life pony. All her life she was home schooled, away from other children, away from the life of an ordinary little girl. She didn't know what it was, the reason why her parents were so protective of her. Why she always feel like they were hiding something from her. Until that day came. Amy decided that she has had enough, enough of the boundaries that kept her locked inside this walls. She wanted to go outside alone, not with any of their maids or butler. She wanted to know what it was like to walk alone the streets at night. The thrill of not having anyone follow you around like some dog making sure she was safe. No, she has had enough of that. She wants something new... Somehow dangerous.

She managed to bypass the guards of their manor and ran away as fast as she could and as far as she can. She was breathing raggedly, her heart beating wild in her chest as she came to a stop at a park. A victorious smile was on her lips as she knelt down on the ground, the grass brushing softly against her knees. It felt good... It felt alive... She felt alive for once in her life. Her eyes were closed, everything was calm for a few moments, she can only hear the wind rushing through her ears, her heart beating in her chest in a fast rhythm, slowly calming as she relaxed. But the silence didn't last long when a loud sharp shrill came out of nowhere stabbing the peaceful serenity of Amy's moment.

"AAAAAH!" The voice screamed, obviously whoever it was. She was in fear, calling for help. Amy quickly found herself standing up and running as fast as she could towards the direction of the woman's scream. And there just across the park was a man wearing a black mask pointing his gun at a shaking woman, holding her purse like her life depended on it.

"Give me your f*ckin' purse or I swear I'll blow your brains out lady!" She can hear his deep voice from where she stood. She felt like she should've just ran away, save herself. But she didn't, no. She couldn't. "Let her go!" Amy yelled catching the man's attention making him glance her way. She heard him curse something making him grab the woman's purse and started pulling, but she didn't let go of it. Why wouldn't the woman just let go of her purse and stop risking her own life.

"F*ck you lady!" Then he pulled the trigger right through her chest. Crimson red blood started spreading from the woman's white shirt. Her eyes wide as she slowly fell to the ground and finally letting go of her purse as she plummeted on.

"NO!" Amy yelled, then anger rose from within her heart, anger of this man's selfishness and greed, anger of his evil and dark ways. Then her eyes glowed green, she can see the shock in the man's eyes as they grew wide. Then compulsively she raised her hands, palms open towards his direction. Then from the ground vines came out with red thorns and they quickly wrapped themselves around the man's neck. He was making choking noises, gurgling sounds like he was choking in his own blood... and he was. The thorns cut through his neck burying themselves through his flesh. Amy's eyes went back to normal and suddenly she was in control of herself again. "Stop!" She yelled as she watched in horror. "Please stop!" She yelled again practically to the vines that she conjured. But they didn't stop. Not till the thief fell down to the ground himself blood around his neck as the thorned vines went back down to the ground leaving no marks like they didn't pop out of the ground....

Then Amy ran, ran back home where she was safe. Home where she was never supposed to have left. She wasn't like those ordinary kids, she wasn't meant to live a life of an ordinary human being. She was 'something else.'

Years passed and she tried her best to forget her dark past. A past no one but her knows. She was now aware that there were more people like her, people were GIFTED... Or CURSED. And now she was ready to learn, learn how to use her abilities, learn how to conquer the darkness and turn it to light. Ready to face her fears but only to soon find that the only place she thought she could find hope. Was full of darker secrets...

Name: Zoey Doyle

Age: 16

Ability: Compulsion

Personality: Cocky, sarcastic, pushes people away, knowledgeable

Bio: Zoey's family was poor, not to the point of starving, but there wasn't much money to spare on luxuries. So when Zoey came into her first grade class holding a porcelain doll, her teacher instantly took notice. Mrs Tomas was a family friend and knew their money situation well enough that she knew this was abnormal. So during a spare moment during recess the teacher called her parents, "Are you aware that your daughter is in possession of a porcelain doll?"

The voice that responded was the father, not an openly affectionate man, but today his response came out instantly and as easy as water slipped through a crack., "Yes, she deserved it. She is such a good girl and hadn't received anything pretty in a long time. Is that a problem?"

"No none at all, I just wanted to check in. I'll see you Sunday night..." The teacher clicked the phone down and sighed, running her hands over her face as she realized what what was going on. You see, Mrs Tomas was not just a simple human, she possessed the power to sense those with magical abilities. Up until a few years ago she acted as a tracker for the organisation which kept humans ignorant of their evolved brethren, but tired of traveling and ripping children from their parents arms she moved into this small town in hopes of a peaceful life. It was here that she made friends with the Doyle family and their daughter. Neither of the parents had active magic but the toddler pulsed with magical energy, and now it had activated as some kind of mind control. Mrs Tomas concentrated on the mornings events and her head snapped up when she realized the Zoey had stuck her claws into her own teacher already. Zoey had asked for a second juice box, something that Mrs Tomas never agreed to, yet today she gave it to the child without a second thought. "One more time, one more time will I do this." She whispered before picking up the phone once again and dialing an old contact.

Mrs Tomas tried not to think about what she was doing to the people she considered family, but as she watched from a safe distance she watched as a 'child protection agency' came and took Zoey on the biases that the living situations were far to dangerous for a child. One of the people manged to calm down Zoey enough that she didn't even try to fight being taken away, she dint know what was going on, but Mr and Mrs Doyle where crying and claiming that they would fight to get her back. Unfortunately no matter what they did, their efforts were rewarded with nothing more than a confused gaze, no child by that name had been taken by the courts. As far as Mr and Mrs Doyle knew, their daughter had been kidnapped by a false agency and now was missing. Mrs Tomas knew this was for the best, one families pain in order to protect the security of an entire species.
