For those of you that don't know what the heck Metal Gear Solid is, well, this is that and that is this. Basic. Right. Anyway, these events follow the death of Solid Snake, with a supposedly peaceful world now, there appears to be no more trouble. The Patriots have disbanded, or so it is thought. The private warfare was put down, however deep in the midst of a desert in an unknown location, a plot is devised to revive not only Big Boss and Solid Snake, but to alter the neurons in their brain. To control them.
After 10 years have passed, this plan is successful, both legendary soldiers are recreated, in their prime, and in a form much stronger than they've ever been. The nano machines enhanced. And with the new revival, both men come to a truce and revive The Patriots. What was suppose to be a private organization comes back, and not quietly. It would've seemed peaceful, until, an assault is lead on the rebuilt World Trade Center, establishing the existence of the recollected faction.
A new FOX team is assembled from the most elite soldiers to take care of these new threats, to take down the duo of legendary soldiers, teaming up with old friends and new faces being shown, will they have the strength to pull this off?
