Fifteen years ago, humans found out about the shifters. They did have their suspicions at first. But they eventually accepted the shifters. Became their friends. Some humans even fell in love and had children with shifters. ~~~~~~ The Alpha of a powerful wolf pack, in Alaska, didn't like this. He didn't like the dilution of the shifter line. He forbid any of his wolves to interact with humans, as did all other packs in the North. Twelve years ago, the Northern wolf packs started to form a "mega-pack" of sorts. All the wolf packs in the North joined together. They were silent at first, but a year after the mega-pack formed, they began killing everyone that wasn't a wolf. All the shifters and humans in the North. Eventually they influenced the packs further South, causing them to join together and help the extermination of all non-wolves. Now, all these years later, the wolves have reign. There are a few surviving villages of other species. But the wolves are finding them and killing them as well. A few groups of shifters have rebelled against the wolves, some of succeeded, most have met the same fate as the other shifters.
