Darewen is know as a barbaric kingdom, the people value the swords and family over pretty things. The kingdom doesn't take people insulting their way of life well either. Darewen is not a kingdom you want to mess with even though they are a poorer country and have a smaller population of mages they still are a force to be reckoned with. Most nobles of this country fight in the wars as well instead of their armies doing the dirty work. the capital held the most nobles than its neighboring cities, losing the capital takes a huge chunk out of the armies and their money.
The Saeryn empire is known to be the richer country, with more nobles and enough money to pay armies to fight their wars. The people of Saeryn have the best clothes and homes, and there is a bigger population of mages as well, even the Empress herself is rumored to have powers. The empire is ruled by an Empress by the name of Clarissa, she is known for beauty but also her brutal rulings in her court, she knows no mercy how Darewen kept her from starting to war for so long is unknown.
King Michael Henriksen and his wife Queen Elizabeth Henriksen ruled over the country themselves for many years and kept the peace with Saeryn empire. When they finally decided they needed an heir the Queen gave birth to a healthy baby boy by the name of Nikolas The Second. The Queen decided she wanted to have a daughter too, only to give birth to another baby boy by the name of Michael The Second. Despite being named after his father Michael felt his parents favored his brother and that began a long sibling rivalry between the two. When Nikolas was said to take the throne after their father, Nikolas began to meet with the Empress of Saeryn to hold the peace between the kingdoms, but Michael began to spin tales of his brother having an affair with the Empress and Nikolas was labeled a traitor and outcasted. Michael took the throne and most didn't favor him but no one dared speak out in fear of his wrath, even after the attack on the capital most said nothing and went on with their lives.
Before Clarissa was born, her father Emperor Aldred was a wise ruler and never attacked Darewen, for fear of what it would do to his Empire. When he was young he had an affair with a noble mage and the mage became pregnant with Clarissa, the Emperor raised her as an heir to the throne when her mother died when she born. Not having a mother and being known as only half royal blood and part mage took a toll on her, making her the brutal ruler she is today. The Emperor died from an assassination and Clarissa became the empress at a young age and let the death of her parents affect her and became cold and distant, never marrying.

3. The main characters can not die though.
4. You must have permission before using others character, and I will not use anyone else's either unless I have your permission.
5. You may want to consult the others in OOC if you plan on making a change to the plot just so everyone is in the know of what's going on.
6. Try to not cause a lot of drama in the story.
7. Please be patient with everyone, do not start fights in OOC.
