Bakersville, Ohio has always been a quaint little town. Everyone knows each other like a family community and like a family, they always have their ups and downs. In 2006, everyone heard about Mrs Habour's sex scandal with Mr Harper, the local librarian. In 2008, the disappearance of Michelle Sawyer shook the community with fear until she was found in an old shack with her 23-year-old boyfriend. But this scandal is something entirely different. Penelope Moore was known as the Queen Bee of Baker High School. She was the school cheer captain, ran for student council and boyfriend to no other than Alec Hawthorne. They were the perfect, white picket fence couple. Penelope made a plan with Alec to run away from Bakersville and start fresh. But things went downhill for the high school sweethearts.
Suicide they said. It was a tragedy that shook the town. The tragic couple died with each other in a romantic yet tragic way, everyone was somehow affected by the loss of Penelope and Alec, especially to six teens who attended the same school as the couple. Yet something seems off about the couple's death. Who knows what happened but no matter how much the police tell them, these teens are going to find the truth. They know there was something more to this death and they're going to prove it.

the younger sister has always been in the shadow of her older sister, penelope. every adored her older sister, her parents, her friends, her teachers, the whole fucking town. if it wasn't for the secret relationship with the family enemy, the younger sister may have gone crazy. she envied the attention her sister received but loved her all the same, yet sometimes the younger sister wants what the older sister had, so she took it from her.

penelope's best friend and sidekick to the queen bee. if penelope was batman, the sidekick would be robin with the ugly green spandex shorts. the sidekick had always admired penelope as more as a best friend, penelope was the one there for the sidekick when her parents would ignore her. she made the sidekick the beautiful rose she is today, so it's heartbreaking to see your first gay crush die, isn't it?

the man candy is known for getting into every girl's pants, including alec. the man candy met alec one night at a part after a football game. drink after drink, things became heated between the man candy and alec, and before the man candy could think, alec was shirtless and next to him in bed. the man candy hasn't talked about that experience since but he's going through a rough time figuring himself out.
the family enemy - male - open
the younger brother of alec and mortal enemy to the moore family. penelope's family has always hated his family with a passion so when the news came back to the family, it wasn't a surprise that the family enemy's parents blamed it on the younger sister and her family. it would be an absolute shame if his family found out that he was secretly dating the younger sister behind their back.
the ex boyfriend - male - open
the ex boyfriend was penelope's first love back when they were sixteen and crazy. but after realising his attraction towards the man candy, he broke things off with penelope. she made sure that the ex boyfriend's life was a living hell at school, penelope publicity humiliated him and made sure no one would ever go near him again. the ex boyfriend hid in the shadows at bakersville high as he ignored everyone, but maybe now is his time to shine?

so thank you for taking your time to read this! this rp is heavily inspired by river dale since it's such a good show and you definitely watch it. i plan to make this a detailed rp so about 2-3 paragraphs so if you can't handle that, this might not be for you. there will be a lot of drama, angst and romance involved which is important to the plot as well, so despite the planned relationships for each role, you are allowed to make other relationship plans!. if you have any questions, concerns, etc please tag me or pm me as well as my co-gm
