Arabelle McQueen is definitely a person you'd want to be friends with. She's smart, funny, kind, and will defend you to the ends of the earth.
Although, only her closest friend know her secrets. Anabelle has trust issues, which means she has trouble truly believing someone loves her. Penelope
was the first person Anabelle actually trusted, so when she died Anabelle literally broke inside. She started quieting down, and not defending herself as much. Her grades started dropping, and her whole world started to fall apart. Some say it's unhealthy to love someone that much, but what can you do? Anabelle, after Penelope's death, is much more quiet. She keeps to herself, and hardly asks for any help. She will sit in her childhood treehouse for hours, just staring up into the sky. Asking god what did I do deserve this pain?

BIOGRAPHY
Arabelle grew up in a corrupt family. They had fights every night, and often ended with Arabelle crying to Penelope. When she came out, things got worse. Her family
claimed to accept her, but she knew that they didn't. So she started spending more time with Penelope. Most nights she would sleep over, and just spend all night binge watching shows and talking about crushes. She would spill her heart out to Penelope. About how she never felt good enough, and how she was always ignored and discarded. Penelope was the only one that accepted her. And can you really blame Arabelle? How can you not fall in love with someone who cares about you so much?
Someone who always makes sure your well, and will devote her entire night to you instead of doing homework because that's how good of a friend she was.

But, then Alec came. And the calls stopped coming. The texts at 5:15 am from Penelope freaking out about a test stopped. Everything stopped. Arabelle usually shrugged it off when Penelope asked her about it, saying she was just stressed, but she could help feeling ignored. And the swirling images of her childhood came back, always being shushed, being forgotten, being lonely. So she did the only thing she knew how to do. She shut out Penelope. When Penelope would text her, which was not often because of Alec anyways, she would reply with short, stiff texts. If she even answered at all. Don't get me wrong, Arabelle still loved Penelope. But what's the point of loving someone if they don't feel the same?

When Arabelle heard of Penelope's death, she was angry. How dare they say it was a suicide? How dare the claim that? Penelope was the happiest person she knew, at least she thought so. So she began doubting herself. Did she every really know Penelope? Was Penelope using her? She became depressed. Running out into the hallway, sliding down the wall and crying her heart out. She loved Penelope, and couldn't help thinking was she, Arabelle Rose McQueen, the reason she suicided?

levi was born to mary turner-james and elliot james along with an older brother alec. he was born in venice, italy, his mother's hometown and raised in paris, france till the age twelve. which allows him to achieve an only a in the class, which happens to be french. he has been in his brother's shadow since the day he was born. his parents were very loving and happy together, or so that's what levi thought. through out middle school, levi slowly started to notice how broken his parent's relationship was. his father was having an affair with his assistant and his mother knew, but hasn't taken any action because it can ruin the family's reputation. it's a sensitive topic for levi which he doesn't enjoy having a conversation about. his mother is apart of the pto at school and the church's council because she's practically a house wife. the entire town knows her as the perky mother of alec and levi to the depressed mother of dead alec and levi. his mother did become depressed after alec's death, and still is depressed, but even before alec's dead, she and her husband never really paid any attention to levi. which has left levi longing for his parent's attention, not because he's worse than alec, but because of his own accomplishments.
he was never really close to his brother, but was more competitive and tried to win his parent's and school's favor instead of alec. levi has been jealous of alec since the day he came out of the womb. levi was known to be the worse version of alec, but was still popular, but was known as "bad version of alec", because of all the fights he's been involved with, or "alec's brother". even his coaches were comparing him to alec because he wasn't as good as alec in sports or even in school. by sophomore year, levi started to pick up smoking weed. he was a reliever from school and society. since the town they live in now is so small, practically the whole town knows about everyone of their neighbor's secrets, except the ones they hold to themselves.

Marc is just about the most friendly person you could ever meet; it's almost sickening how welcoming he is. But, unfortunately, his reputation and social standing have put a long distance between him and making friends. Marc would never say a bad word about anyone; not even his worst enemy. He always does his best to put other people first and to lend a helping hand if someone needs it, even if it means compromising his own comfort zone. He's gentle and approaches everything in life with baby steps, which can sometimes be good and other times it may seem like he's not bothered or distant.

Marc has always been overly hopeful and optimistic. He sees the good in people who have never been good and he always believes that everyone can change. He chooses to see the best in everyone; it's how he was brought up. He still believes that love and romance actually exist, and so he falls in love very easily; and once he's in love, he'll believe every word his girlfriend says. Marc appreciates little things that no one else notices; quirks, especially with girls. BIOGRAPHY
Marc was born into a loving family. His mother, Alison, was a white, Irish woman who had moved to America to find a new life and his Father, Tombe, was a Ugandan refugee who had lived in the US since he was 8. They met when Tombe was 24 and Alison was 25 and it was love at first sight for them,sort of. Alison watched Tombe play bass in a bar in South Carolina for a few weeks before she mustered up the courage to talk to him. After that, they fell hopelessly in love.

Being a mixed couple, they received hate for starting a family, and when they had their first child, Ande, it only got worse. They decided to make the move to Ohio, and found a small town that was perfect. Over the course of the next twenty years; they had five more children. Renee, Dembe, Paula, Jorge and Marcus.

Tombe and Alison raised their kids with tradition from both sides of their family and they had a fruitful upbringing. They didn't have much money, but they lived with just enough and they couldn't have been happier. Growing up, Marc had an okay school life. He was never bullied, but he never stood out. His parents taught him the importance of being grateful and kind and so that was what he was. He played as many sports as he could, but excelled in football. Although he wasn't brilliant at academics, he still tried his best.

Everything went downhill when Tombe had his first heart attack. Heart disease ran in his family, and the men from three generations past had died from complications due to it. Fearing the worst, he wrote a will, splitting his inheritance money between each of his children, 5,000 dollars to each, and he left the rest to his wife. For a few years, though, things seemed to go well, until in 2014, he had his second heart attack. He didn't pull through.

Since then, Alison has been beyond sad, and she and the kids had to pull together. The older kids all received their inheritance money and used it for their own families, but Marcus and Jorge were still to young to access theirs. Then Jorge went off to college and used some of the money to pay off his starting debt, and then there was just Marc left at home. At the start of junior year, he was appointed the role of quarterback, and it was as if every dream of his had come true. Girls wanted him more and he met his best friend; Alec. As much as he hated to admit it; the attention was good. He was finally being recognized.

Things seemed to be going even better one night, after a particularly good game. Penelope had thrown a party, and Marc was expected to show up, but drinking was not his favourite thing to do, so he went upstairs and found a quiet room. He didn't expect to find Penelope's Mother inside, but they talked, and just like that, Marc fell in love. He made every excuse that he could to see her; he'd take Penelope's books and 'drop them off' a her house. The first time they kissed was unexpected, and one thing led to another. He lost his virginity that night, and they had slept together whenever they could ever since.

But when Penelope died, she refused to see him. And now he hates himself. He's more broken by the fact that he can't continue his affair than the fact that his friends are dead.

PERSONA​

personality || With the confidence to last a lifetime, Malcolm walks through the halls like he owns the place, as if life is his catwalk. He looks good, and boy does he know it. With an expression that looks like he cannot be bothered with anyone's shit, he distances himself from others.
Arrogant? hell yeah.
He is, however, easily among the more sociable ones at school. Though being very selective of his friends, he'll for sure kick it off with any sort of interesting person he comes across.
He has that sarcastic and somewhat sadistic kind of humor, and can be one of the most entertaining people to have around because of his need for adrenalin.
Just like his reputation claims, Malcolm is quite the flirt. That alluring gaze combined with a playful smirk and inappropriate sexual humor makes him the ultimate heartthrob. Rumor has it he once caused a girl to faint.

Malcolm has a nasty habit of ghosting out on his friends, sometimes disappearing completely from school for weeks. He'll ignore texts, calls and even visits to his house, saying that he's sick when in reality he just wants someone off his back. This is usually when he feels that someone's gotten too close to him, and that they're getting too invested in his life and choices. Usually though, you can still find him at home playing video games, but he might not bother to open the door. As a result of this, he's lost one too many friends in the past.
You're probably thinking, perhaps it's because he's secretly afraid? Let me tell you, he's not. He just hates when people meddle in his business.

Malcolm would probably be the one of the worst people to exist- something many would agree with- if it wasn't for the way he treats his friends and family. The ones he enjoy the company of, he'll take care of as if they were the center of the universe. It wouldn't be surprising if he showed up with a pizza if you're feeling down. He's an great listener as well, and can listen to you rant for hours on end without a single comment.
Strangely enough, there's rarely an awkward moment when Malcolm's around. Even just sitting in silence with him can be comfortable. Whether it's his smooth voice or his relaxed body language is still a question, but fact is that he brings a sense of calmness to the scene.
