backstory: Melody always knew that she was not like her mom, she was more like her dad, she had powers that were nothing like her mother's. When she first showed signs of having powers like her father her mother got upset and left, not for long, or at least that's what Melody's mom thought. In reality Persephone was gone for a good 5 years, when she left Melody was 4. Melody never liked her mom much after that, she was always distant with her, so when her dad said she got a letter for a school she decided to start packing right away. When she left she gave her dad a hug then completely ignored her mother, then walked out the door.
