WELCOME.

Hello darlings.

I am relatively new, and I wanted to see if there'd be any interest here in a few plots I've been sitting on for quite some time now. I participate in detailed roleplays and most of my concepts are of the fantasy, supernatural, or modern/realistic (with a dash of fantasy) nature.

Please, if you have any questions or interests, don't hesitate to send me a quick message. It'd be very much appreciated, and I look forward to writing with you!

RULES.

A few very basic (but very important) guidelines to go over before you consider plotting with me:

- As far as romance goes, I often

don't like it at the center of the plot unless specifically desired.

Additionally, as far as

types

of romances go,

more often than not I only play male/male or male/female.

I have absolutely nothing against female/female relationships; I'm just not very good at portraying them. </3

- I have a strong preference for detailed roleplayers. Although

I do appreciate quality over quantity,

the goal is to progress the story through lots of details and character development.

I'd like a minimum of 3-4 paragraphs with each post.

Of course, I understand if you're not feeling up to par on every turn.

- You should be relatively active, as I'm looking for people who are able to

manage a post at least every couple days or so.

- You should be

both passive and aggressive when it comes to roleplaying.

This means that we should be able to

take turns guiding the plot.

There's nothing I hate more than getting "stuck" in a roleplay.

I expect new scenes, characters, events, etc. to come into play when there are none, and you can expect the same from me.

-

I have a strong preference of playing males over females.

Unless specifically stated in the muse requirements, it doesn't matter to me what gender you choose to play.

PLOTS.

Update: I've changed up the format of each description a bit so they're slightly less confusing. Hopefully this will clear some things up!

Plot info will take the following format:

I take the role of "Muse B", but if you're unhappy with that, I'm certain we can work out some accommodations.

Muse A

is the young, wealthy neighbor to the eccentric and dubiously characterized

Muse B.

After being locked out of his own home (and in the pouring rain, no less) by careless parents during one of their prestigious get-togethers, Muse A reluctantly seeks refuge in his neighbor's murky estate.

After one too many odd occurrences throughout the duration of his tense visit, however, Muse A is faced with an unexpected glimpse into Muse B's shadowy past--and in the process, unlocks an even darker future for himself. Caught between feeding his growing fascination for this treacherous stranger and abiding to his deceitful father's status among a vigilant, corrupt community with a habit of taking things into their own hands, Muse A is faced with a choice that may cost him his life.

A DILAPIDATED BOSTON RESTS AT THE CENTER OF THE WORLD, according to Muse A's mother, and the young frontiersman has no reason to believe otherwise. His isolated Alaskan realm--though spacious, wild, and free of the dictatorial claws that have seized what remains of the lower forty-eight--is rapidly collapsing into a world of desperation. Conditions grow bitter with the approaching winter, and what little resources they can manage to bring in are becoming more and more difficult to smuggle beneath the watchful eyes of Muse B's secret police, employed to serve and protect only those loyal to their new commander in chief.

After a particularly disturbing incident that almost costs him his life,

Muse A

is left with little option but to trek into the "civilized world"--that being Boston, in the heart of which Muse B is searching for fresh new bodyguards--a job widely regarded as the most dangerous (and most prosperous) in the country.

Off to an immediate bad start, Muse A is left to cope as one of Muse B's lowest subordinates, and, coincidentally, the one the latter chooses to pick on the most. Caught between a burning loathing for the man and an utter fascination for him and his place among this brutish "civilized" culture, Muse A faces adversaries from every corner of this rapidly-shifting spectrum of emotion; and, in the end, finds the life of the man who shattered his world resting in the palm of his hands.

MUSE A'S CO-REIGN AS FIRST LADY OF THE UNITED STATES HAS BEEN PITCHED INTO THE VOID as the news of her husband's brutal and unexpected demise shocks the nation to its core. In the year 2038, when corruption among government is at an all time high, no one wants to admit that they could have seen this coming--but who could have stopped it?

Muse B is the committed body double to the deceased president, and among those affected most deeply by his murder. As blind in his guilt as Muse A is in her grief, he ignores the warnings of others and adopts the role as her primary confidant, quickly becoming a support system for she and her young child.

As bonds grow closer and their relationship morphs into something more than a coping mechanism, all three abandon D.C. for a new life in New York--but what starts out as a tranquil healing process quickly develops into a harrowing situation for both Muse A and Muse B, as the latter's past nips at his heels and pulls at the strings binding his family--and his very sanity--together.

"RED HOOK, NOWHERE" IS HARD TO GET KICKED OUT OF, but when he does, Muse A has no intentions of changing his ways. Bruised, bleeding and armed with only the sparse remains of his belongings and whatever he can pick up along the way, Muse A is forced to abandon his fourth shantytown within the last year on count of "violent behavior"--or something like that, anyway.

Unfortunately, violent behavior doesn't get him out of the cruelties of this stark, wicked new world. Captured by one of the most notorious gangs on the streets and s

old forcibly into the domestic slave trade, Muse A meets a young, raggedy Muse B whom has suffered the same fate. The two manage to make one another's lives slightly less utterly miserable as they scrub filthy floors, starve on scraps and lie awake on frozen concrete within the all-but-wicked queen's estate--and then, promptly, are forever lost to one another when Muse A is sold to another house.

Fifteen odd years later and calloused beneath the increasingly brutal punishments of his increasingly intolerant abusers, Muse A finds himself back where he started in a terrible twist of fate. Only one thing has changed since his passing through the esteemed queen's court: a bright young face from his past has taken the place of the wicked gray woman who subjected her to such tortures. But while Muse A may not have changed, Muse B is expected to be firm in her role as a leader--and she takes the idea very seriously.

I know there aren't a whole lot right now (clearly; that's partially due to my laziness, and partially my struggle to keep things unique and interesting
), but more are being added as you're reading, so don't worry if you haven't found what you're looking for yet! And of course, if you have an idea of your own, I'd be more than happy to hear it!

Enjoy~ !

Hey, I'd like to jump all over and on the KING OF ROGUES plot. This sounds like just something I was thinking I'd like to do earlier today! :D

Btw, it's been a while since I've joined and I'm curious; do you have to reach either 9 posts OR wait 24 hours or do you have to meet both conditions? D: What a bummer.

Perfect! Would you like me to make a thread, or do you prefer to write the starting post?

And yeah, unfortunately, that's how it works now I suppose.

(Modern supernatural; involves vampires. Both muses must be male.)
I'm interested in this first plot, but I would like some more details on it. How old is muse A? Which muse would you be playing? Once in his neighbor's home, what kinds of things will muse A be experiencing, if muse B is the vampire? If the other way around, what will the general direction of the plot be?

Good questions. And fair enough, since I wasn't very specific with this one.

I play Muse B in all of the plots, and yes, he would be the vampire. If I had to put a bit more detail into the description, I'd say Muse A would be anywhere from 16-19 (young enough to still be living with his parents but old enough for a relationship with a young adult to be "acceptable"). The last few times I've played with this plot, the events leading up to the discovery involved a lot of missteps; nosy teen poking around, asking too many questions, eventually causing the irritable neighbor to snap and accidentally expose that more "monstrous" side of himself just long enough to expose himself as something other than human.

Great, I'd love to get started. Let me ask, though, is forum-posting your preferred medium for role-playing? If you'd prefer to do it in pms, I can wait by all means. Then again, it wouldn't hurt to get started on that 9-post requirement, lol.

If you'd like to go ahead and create a thread, I can do the first post! I'd like to speak with you more about the plot before we get started, however (we can do that in the thread), just to make sure we're on the same page and everything. ^^

Well I just recently discovered that my PM does work (I'm fairly certain), either or is fine with me!

I'm afraid I don't think I can, unless you'd like to try PMing me.

Update for this little thing (since I was too lazy to make a new thread): a few fresh plots have been added, help yourselves! ^-^

I am very interested in roleplaying you, not so much the ideas you have. If you have more let me know, else I'll keep on the look out until you have more to update :)
if you're still interested, i wouldn't mind giving the third idea a try. it sounds rather interesting.
Absolutely~. Do you need any more details, or should we start right off the bat?

Of course ^^ I'll update sporadically, but if you have a particular idea that you're interested in, I'd love to hear it. [:

the only question i really have at the moment is where you would plan to start this, plot-wise and thread location-wise~

Well now you've made me curious :P There's no shame in sharing, I'd love to hear it. ^^

The plot would begin less than a day after the murder of Muse A's husband, and if you mean genre-wise then this would probably be more of a modern-type roleplay. It doesn't matter to me if you prefer to write via PM or public thread. ^^

thank you for clearing that up, and if it's alright with you i'd rather do this over messaging, as it's easier for me to keep track of.

No problem! I can start out with the first post, but as it can take me quite some time I can't guarantee that I'll have it out before tomorrow.

Hello there! :) Unfortunately I'm not all too interested in your plots but you sound very interesting to role play with so maybe we could create a plot together! :)

Absolutely! Unfortunately I'll be in and out replying to a few other things, but you're more than welcome to PM me and we'll see if we can't work something out. (:
