The Story


Darkness used to cover all the land. Mankind was born from Dust and had to battle against creatures of the darkness, known as theGrimm. According to the legend, darkness at first was intent on wiping out mankind's brief existence, but man discovered a power that would help them combat the forces of darkness, and appropriately named their new weapon Dust, after that which they were formed from.


Armed with Dust, described as "Nature's Wrath," mankind managed to force the darkness away. In the absence of darkness, man was able to create civilization and spread throughout the world. Currently, the world is in a state of peace, but the Grimm may return any day. To fend off the Grimm, and any other threat to peace, academies such asSignalandBeaconwere created to train people to becomeHuntsmen and Huntresses.


Huntsmen and Huntresses, as the names imply, "hunt" these threats down and eliminate them using a combination of powerful weapons,Aura and ample supplies of Dust.


This RP will focus on a new class, a new year is starting and new teams will be chosen. This year is important, because it brings with it new enemies who scheme to return mankind to darkness.

Weapon Ability/Details: The Gauntlets have Kinetic energy around them increasing his punching power to feel like a Train hit you. His Revolvers are loaded with Explosive Dust Rounds.


Bio: Colt has always had the dream like any little boy or girl to Fight monsters and has worked all his life to get this goal. but is even driven more to kill them because a monster killed his parents at age 12. He made his Gauntlets and his Revolver swords, They both have names the right one is Salva and the left is Violet. He vowed he would find and kill any monster he found and then he would find the monster that killed his very own parents. Finally getting accepted to Beacon is the first step to being able to kill all monsters in his opinion. He has two younger sisters and has always taken care of them his whole life being a father figure.


Personality: Colt has always since his parents death felt independent and doesn't want anyone's help, He is laid back about anything But easily annoyed, and Blunt. when seeing others sad, even not knowing them he tries to see what's wrong and maybe tries to fix it.

Weapon Type: Chainsaw Sword


Weapon Appearance:

Weapon Ability/Details: Jayden's weapon is a massive chainsaw sword he wields with two hands. It is almost bigger than he is but he claims it is very light. Like any other chainsaw sword, the spikes act as the chainsaw blade and spin around when activated. When it's not in its weapon form, it changes into a back armor, resembling a medieval chest plate but only the back part. It also slightly resembles a backpack but Jayden can't store items in it.


Bio: Jayden is the son of the Namikito family with a long bloodline and ancestry of Huntress/Hunters. He is the oldest of three siblings and the only one to express interest in becoming a Hunter. Jayden's grandmother built and named his sword, as she was a famous Huntress in her younger years. She named the sword, Crimson Moon.


Personality: Jayden is quiet and calm. He is friendly but doesn't make any attempt to talk to anyone. He is serious and very mature for his age. Jayden trusts Crimson Moon with his life and has bonded with his weapon. He is reluctant to let anyone else touch his blade.

Name: Den Jin Yamanaka

Weapon Type: Pronounced together is Kilala Kil and ala are two Bladed/Metal fans that can connect together to form one weapon

Weapon Ability/Details: The fans are blue and made with a very thin and light-weight material. They even fold closed and can be worn on the back. Each fan has five blades sprouting outwards to cut the Grimm. By placing the fans together there is a way to forge them into one weapon but that is only done by the wielder.


Bio: Den Jin *a gift of tenderness from the gods* was born to a family of four older brothers. Her mother was so excited to have gotten her princess. As Den Jin grew up she'd follow her brothers around, much to mom's dismay, and wrestle and play their rough games.After Den Jin reached the age of ten the damage could not be undone. Her father had found it humorous and even egged her on in a way. Den Jin was enrolled into one of the training schools near her home just as all her brothers had attended before being invited to Beacon. She had two brothers whom had graduated from Beacon which lit a new passion inside of her. Den had packed her stuff to go with the youngest one Cho and her mother stopped her and told her no. She was to be in peace keeping organization that helped the colonies.Her mother told her that she had only humored her father in letting her train with her brothers but now it was time to be serious. The Yamanaka family had given up four sons to be Hunstmen and she'd keep her daughter. Den Jin grew furious and locked herself away cutting up all of her dresses and hair bows. A week later on the day Cho was to leave her father and mother had gotten her a present. She didn't want it but opened it because she had been so horrid to her mom and knew she deserved nothing for her fit. It was a pair of bladed fans which confused her. Den Jin looked up puzzled and noticed her mother with a suitcase. Jumping for joy Den Jin would go to train as a huntress. Her mother had made her promise not to loose her feminine side, and to honor her mother she always wears some type of girly outfit. In her first years at the academy back in her home town she fell in love with the art of the ninja and found it to be her calling. She is always wearing a blue mask across the lower portion of her face. No one knows if she is beautiful,all they know are that her eyes are snake like.It is her first year alongside her brother Cho, and her brother Yin is in his second year. Her brothers Ping and Do had already graduated and are Huntsmen. She received and early invitation to the academy because of her families accomplishments and her father, being a retired Huntsman, special request.


Personality: Den Jin is a very happy person, she acts like a normal girl when class is not in session. But as soon as it is time to train or work she is full on emotionless. She hates class clowns and studies more than she needs to. To the point of wearing herself down. Traits smart , brave, friendly, persistent, and rude when annoyed.

Stands about 5feet 4inches tall. Muscular build and tanned skin. Her face is always hidden so no one knows if she is deformed (which has been rumored) or drop dead gorgeous beautiful.

All Accepted! But @the juggernaut make sure you keep the gauntlets to a minimum, it's supposed to be one weapon per warrior but it can work. Just make the gun blades your main weapon, and make sure the gauntlets like aren't as powerful as Yang's (Seeing as that's her main weapon you know?)

Name: Axel Thorn


Age: 17


Gender: Male


Weapon Type: Whip Blade


Weapon Appearance:

Weapon Ability/Details: Axel's whip blade was designed to stretch at incredible lengths to nab any foe up close or afar it can act as an rope to restrain someone or just completely slice them in two, his blade is also surging with electricity and can be used for numerous reasons besides the most obvious ones.


Bio: Axel being born in a highly locked down prison camp by her psycho mother, Axel was orphaned and raised to fend mostly for himself when he could learn to walk and had a grasp of language and common sense mostly around when he was 10. Being around alone for that time really terrified him he would usually try to stay hidden and away from shady and mean folk but the one thing he was most terrified of was the monsters. Axel always felt like he was on the run ducking and dodging from those creatures only getting a rest when he felt most safe in a dark alleyway, he would come to grow to be a common thief stealing small things to keep himself going, but as the years came he became more greedy more agile and more cunning, cunning to where he would steal wealthy things and claim them as his own never getting caught and leaving no trail to get caught. Most huntsmen/huntresses would then be on look out for the new menace known as Black birdy. It would eventually come the day where Axel would slip during his runs and run into a powerful huntress where she would proceed to capture Axel, though Axel being the guy he is gave her a good chase ending up causing a bit of mayhem on the south end of the streets mostly by her cause and Axel's dodging. Axel locked up now would then be visited by the headmaster himself Axel not exactly knowing who he was until he explained that he was apart of Beacon clearly getting Axel's attention, he offered Axel a spot there but for him to throw away his life of crime and the dark road he may had come to meet if he had continued. Axel only smirked and said "Beats rotting away in this place you got yourself a deal not you mind getting me outta this cage...I hate small places" Axel now having the chance to turn his life around and fight off monsters that terrorized him for so long. Axel was allowed to create his weapon of choice, given the time of 2 months he finally created his weapon the whip blade which he personally calls "Nebula".


Personality:Cocky, Serious, Cold, Brave, Kind (In his cold little way), Psychotic (Only when he hits his head causing him to have the flashes of his past making his insanity surge)

Name: Emily "Emma" Cross

Weapon Type: Bo-Scythes


Weapon Appearance:

Weapon Ability/Details: The Bo-Scythes are two combinable scythes that attach at the base. The weapon in this form breaks into two parts at the center to be used a two scythes when needed. When in use, the blue orbs embedded into the scythes will begin to emit heat.


Bio: Emma was born into a family of three as a only child of a Mechanistic and a Adventurer. Can you guess which`s her father and other? She grew up quite normally before going to weapons classes at the age of 9. *I`ll have to improve the bio*


Personality: Not being one for weakness, Emma likes to put up a front and constantly tries keeps herself and others cheery occasionally hugging and conversing with multiple friends. Behind her cheeriness is a hardworking and dedicated mind.

Name: Sabrina Capet Lafluore

Weapon Type: Chain scythes


Weapon Appearance:

(Kinda like that but two of them and they are both sickles instead of swords, they are also sterling silver instead of black)(So blend the two together)


Weapon Ability/Details: Sabrina's chain scythes are extremely deadly in mid-to close-range, they can also be converted into submachine guns, but she makes it a habit to keep them in blade form as much as possible. Seeing as she finds guns uncouth and unlady like, her scythes can fold into rectangular charms. She can often be found wearing the chains around her neck like a scarf, the charms dangling from the ends.


Bio: Sabrina Lafluore is of royal blood, being a descendent of royalty she has enjoyed a level of comfort her entire life. That was until France caught fire in the aftermath of a monster attack, the devastation so great that it left her family struggling to make ends meet in the aftermath. That was the day she began to train to become a Huntress. She quickly rose the ranks and won competition after competition in order to regain her family's pride. She is now transferring to beacon, leaving her family living quite comfortably after her recent sponsorships and prize winnings.


Personality: Sabrina Lafluore is a self spoken woman, her family hailing from France she was raised to be regal and proper. As such she tried to maintain a sense of discipline and demure. However her family also trained her in the art of swordplay, having been born into a family descendent of Royal Dukes and Duchesses. She takes her studies seriously and dismisses anyone that would get in her way. She comes across as cold and prideful but deep down she has a secret side that adores sweet and cute things. Granted she will never quite admit it, finding her own behavior unbecoming of someone of royal blood. .

Name: Jeremiah K. Alabast

Weapon Type: Dust Canister Gauntlets


Weapon Appearance:

Weapon Ability/Details: The Dust Canister Gauntlets were designed by Jeremiah, they allow the user to augment the gloves with whatever element of dust they choose. As such Jeremiah usually carries several canisters with him at all times, although he sometimes misplaces them and on occasion drops them. The gloves can compress into bracelets, his left one (the one with the canister injection port) turning into a watch. Although he constantly complains the thing can't tell time worth a damn.


(kinda like a blend between Weiss and Yang really)


Bio: Jeremiah Alabast is just a normal average kid, with a normal average family, that had a normal average dog, and at one time he undoubtedly had a normal average life. That was until the day he was saved by a monster in the woods by a huntress, a young girl named Yang (original series) saved him while he was out playing and since then he has never stopped striving to be a Hunter. Believing them to be in his words, "The coolest", so without a letter of recommendation he appeared at Signal academy, refusing to leave until someone trained him. He was too young then but made an impression on the headmaster, later he was allowed to enter and after a stunning display (a rather clumsy and town destroying display involving a rather large monster) he was accepted into Beacon on a trial basis. The headmaster saying he reminded him of someone, although he wouldn't say who.


Personality: Jeremiah is spunky, headstrong and reckless. Though those may just be his good qualities, he is somewhat perverse, having a very different sense of humor than most. He is usually good natured although there is a switch in his psyche that if activated will usually send him into a rage. He is usually composed in battle although he is often clumsy, and has a nasty habit of losing his canisters, or inadvertently causing explosions. He is most of all easily excitable, being so overwhelmed by merely being accepted into Beacon, the smallest thing is enough to send him into an excited and heated conversation.

Bio: Professor Ozpin is the Headmaster of Beacon, not much else is known of the acclaimed professor other than he is known to get results from his students. Being responsible for churning out some of the greatest hunters and huntresses the world has ever seen.


Personality: Ozpin is both stoic and affable toward the people he speaks to. He often appears stoic, and has no problem putting his students in mortal danger in order to train them. He can also be very blunt, and is usually very honest with his students.


Appearance/Look:
