Remnant's four nations and Menagerie have been nigh destroyed by The White Fang under Adam Taurus. The remaining forces of all the kingdoms have gathered on the Dragon Continent, now named Foundal.

It boasts a diverse climate, with forests and plains in the southeast, deserts in the west, mountains complete with frozen peaks in the south, and the northern part of the continent (which is the majority of it), is covered in deep jungle.

The four nations and independent colony have relocated to the regions familiar to them:
- Atlas in the Frozen Peaks
- Vale in the forests
- Vacuo in the desert
- Mistral at the intersection of desert, mountains, and forest
- Menagerie in the jungle

The four nations have formed a council in New Beacon, the new capitol of Vale and home to the only Hunters' Academy known to exist.

The council (which are all NPC's unless filled) have founded a new school in New Beacon to train new recruits to defend against and eventually retaliate against them.

Sierra Khan, many Faunus from Menagerie and her followers from the White Fang have joined with the new nation. They are tolerating the humans only for Ghira's sake.

The bustling city of New Beacon was the spitting image of Menagerie at its peak, save for the occasional Atlesian Knight and a few other...differences.

One being that Hunters, experienced and learning, frequented the shops in the main market, the social pubs and other main areas of concourse. The prime reason for their existence was the "Haven-esque" New Beacon Academy of Huntsmen and Huntresses overlooking the city. It was the tallest in the area, after all.

The Headmasters and council members painstakingly drafted and redrafted the plans for New Beacon and finally accepted the plainest of them all: A single large structure with three levels. The first holding the atrium and administrative offices, the second the learning classrooms, and the basement. Ah, yes. The 'proving ground' as some affectionately called it. It was a single room, capable of shifting to whatever environment the user(s) wished. It was built for one primary objective: To hone the skills of hunters-in-training in real-time simulated combat.

Today was reception day. Students from all 5 kingdoms (yes, the council voted Menagerie in as a kingdom) would be arriving at the school today and bunk in the Atrium.
