RWBY, The Fall of Vale.

Grimm, something people had gotten sick of after a while. Just the thought made people laugh. They were pathetic and ever since RWBY and JNPR grimm were considered to be the least of everyones worries. But what if all your life they were a fascination. Something that you loved. They would never hurt you, oh no....they listened. Everyday you try to tell others how good they are and you end up beaten and bullied. A "freak". You were a nobody and so were they, they were looked at as a joke now, target practice to train people. But they were living too. You would know, because you have always been with them. People preached they were mindless selfless drones that only wanted to kill. But you felt it in you that they were animals.


So you set forth to train them a small legion and eventually...it grew. During the day you worked to become a worker at the electricity company near the edge of the city....and by night you lead your group of grimm to destroy small villages outside of the city. The grimm you trained get stronger, bigger and the more you killed. The further into insanity you fell. You could feel hatred, fear and slowly you found more grimm and they followed...blindly...like a hive and your there king/queen. People became another species to you, you saw them as the freaks. And slowly your anger grew as more grimm fell as if they were just test dummies. Beacon was your main hatred and one day you snapped.


That electric company, you worked there because you had planned ahead. You worked deep uncover and one day you destroyed the electricity wires. The power goes out...and people begin to freak out. And whenever they try to fix it you break it again. And kill those who tried. And slowly people begin to get angry, others still in fear that the wall would fall without power. This was your plan, to cause panic, hatred, you were making a hot spot...and every Grimm in the mile radius could feel it, they knew it. It was time for the hive to find there king/queen.


And that is how the city fell, thousands came and broke down the wall they would do anything for that much fear and hatred. But they did not break it down on their own...no you helped. You had built a bomb and you blew a hole in the wall. And they could smell you, which made them stronger. Without electricity no one could call for help and no one knew what was happening till it was too late. Atlas sent robots to fight but there was too many, Mass production could not even beat the grimm.

And that was not all. All the grimm who had not even been discovered. The ones who were in hiding. All came out...and some were just too strong to bare. And the intelligence some had collected shown they were more then mindless beasts. They were now a well trained army.


And this my friends is the tale.....of how the grimm took over Vale....

Overview of RWBY as a whole

The story takes place in the world of Remnant, which is filled with supernatural forces and shadowy creatures known as the "Creatures of Grimm". Prior to the events of the series, mankind waged a battle of survival against the Grimm before discovering the power of a mysterious element called Dust, which allowed them to fight back against the monsters. In the present day, Dust is used to power magical abilities and weapons. Those who use these abilities to battle the Grimm are known as Huntsmen or Huntresses. Darkness used to cover all the land. Mankind was born from Dust and had to battle against creatures of the darkness, known as the Grimm. According to the legend, darkness at first was intent on wiping out mankind's brief existence, but man discovered a power that would help them combat the forces of darkness, and appropriately named their new weapon Dust, after that which they were formed from.


Armed with Dust, mankind managed to force the darkness away. In the absence of darkness, man was able to create civilization and spread throughout the world. Currently, the world is in a state of peace, but the Grimm may return any day. To fend off the Grimm, and any other threat to peace, academies such as Signal and Beacon were created to train people to become Huntsmen and Huntresses.


Huntsmen and Huntresses, as the names imply, "hunt" these threats down and eliminate them using a combination of powerful weapons, Aura and ample supplies of Dust.

Where we will start

Where we will begin:

We will begin with each of these so called "Champions" from the other territories arriving at Beacon which is war torn per say. The hunters and huntresses of vale will be there as well and all of them will convene and get ready to go select the villains that will be helping them. Well only the leaders of each group will go and decided the others will stay back and learn more about each other as more grimm begin to attack the school.

The cityscape of Vale seems to have a type of build similar to modern cities like New York and San Francisco. However, Vale appears to have very narrow roads, suggesting that the city is old enough to formerly have traditional roads.


It is divided into multiple sectors, having an upper-class district, a commercial district, an industrial district, an agricultural district and a residential district.


Vale has a large port area where passenger and cargo ships dock. The cargo docks include large-scale container handling facilities, indicating that the port handles large quantities of goods on a frequent basis. This is shown to include very large quantities of Dust, shipping in from overseas locations such as Atlas.


To the southeast lies an area teaming with wild forests and deep caves, but is also known to contain the ruins of Mountain Glenn, a failed attempt by the kingdom to extend the city's borders. The location was eventually overrun by Grimm and had to be fenced off from the rest of the city.


Vale has its own police department, which has both uniformed and plain-clothes detective sections. Criminal mastermind Roman Torchwick is currently high on its most wanted list.


However, the capabilities of Vytal's criminal element, including super-criminals and the White Fang terrorist organization, sometimes outstrip the department's ability to counter them, forcing it to rely on the Hunters to deal with extreme threats.


The Vale News Network (VNN) seems to be the main source of news casting in the Vale Region, broadcasting to the people of Vale. Known newscasters include Lisa Lavender and Cyril Ian.

Semblances

The Semblances of Vale

Semblance is the manifestation of one's innate and personal power as an ability unique to each individual, with the effects varying greatly from user to user. However, a person's Semblance can be similar to the Semblances of their parents.


Individuals possess their own unique Semblance that represents an aspect of their character. It is currently unknown if an individual's Semblance is related to their Aura. However, Pyrrha Nikos implied a connection when she said that using Aura can help Jaune discover his semblance.


Those that use Semblance are able to manipulate certain physical phenomena according to the nature of their power. Some individuals, such as Weiss Schnee, are able to use their Semblance to create glyphs that generate some desired effect. Ruby Rose is able to move at incredible speeds, while Pyrrha can manipulate magnetic forces.


Using Dust, certain individuals can modify their Semblances with elements, such as Weiss using Myrtenaster to change her glyphs and Blake inserting dust vials into Gambol Shroud to make her Shadow clones take on elemental properties.


Overuse of one's Semblance for prolonged periods may adversely affect its user at certain times, one occasion occurring to Weiss after using a series of glyphs in rapid succession to assist Ruby and subsequently collapsed afterward. (( Brought to you by Semblance ))

Dust is a source of energy in the world of RWBY. The physical properties of Dust make it incredibly useful for a variety of purposes, particularly in theweapons of many characters in the series.


The name "Dust" is implied to be a reference to the primordial state from which mankind was born. As a natural resource, it is sometimes poetically referred to as "Nature's Wrath" or more prosaically as an energy propellant.


Dust is known as a naturally occurring energy propellant triggered by the Aura of Humans and Faunus. It exists in four basic variations: Fire, Ice, Lightning and Wind, that can be combined both artificially and naturally to form new and stronger types, each with their own unique properties. In episode 2, The Shining Beacon, Weiss also names Water and Energy as potential Dust types. Different colors of Dust appear to correspond to their different natures or effects.


Dust can be found in two discrete states, crystalline and powdered. Both crystalline and powdered Dust are known to have highly explosive properties. For example, during the Dust store robbery,Roman Torchwick threw a crystal at Ruby Rose's feet and fired at it, causing a sizeable explosion. The powdered form appears to be even more volatile, since something as innocuous as a sneeze is enough to detonate a cloud of Dust.


Dust serves as a power source for all facets of technology in Remnant, from airships to androids. Technology powered by Dust is also known to glow. However, Dust can still be used without the aid of weapons or machines and unleashed in its raw form, such as lightning. More archaic uses for Dust include weaving it into clothing and fusing it into a living body.

RULES:




1: Follow the RPN Rules of course or I will fight some peeps.




2: No God modding, Bunnying and god, please, no mary sues or gary stues. I swear if I see any of these they will be personally kicked off a mountain.


3: Have unique weapons and semblances, go out of your comfort zones. It's not really a rule but I would love to see some of the creativity you all have.


4: Make longer posts please no one liners, put more background and oomph into everyone of your posts. Again, creativity is amazing.


5: Don't just join and disappear, make sure if you have to go for a while tell me or you will get a warning then deleted. But I will always make sure to ask.


6: Make sure to post once in a while so I know your here, goes with rule 5.


7: Violence and romance are allowed just don't go overboard, skip if needed. But I have to warn all that come in that this is not for kids, it is RWBY and all but the plot is going to probably get violent but there is no blood so don't worry. Well blood in grimm I should say.


8: Be nice to others, drama in rp is fine but outside of it to each other is horrible, please don't fight.


9: Write in third person, please no first person it just makes everything confusing. So does spam so no spamming please.


10: And have fun, RWBY is goofy most of the time and I aim to do that when we are at the "school". That and when we are fighting too.
