Today was the first day, first day of the new term in the new school year at the Huntsmen academy known as Beacon...
*RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING*
...and it would appear that these students were waking up for the new school year.
Standing there in team SPID's room was their leader, Duke Blu. The young man was dressed in a modified school uniform; Instead of the Beacon blazer that everyone else had, Duke was dressed in a simple school vest, with his blue sunglasses clipped on his vest chest pocket. Said young man was leaning against the wall next to the door, his head was down, and a toothpick was in his mouth. Duke was just casually checking out his scroll, one hand in his pocket, when the alarm bell rang.
The young man glanced up casually to see weather or not his teammates were up...

"WAGHHH" *Thunk* Ivory fell out of his bed at the sound of the bell. "Im awake!" He quickly shuffled to his feet and got changed into his school uniform.
He walked up to Duke and stood next to him ready to follow his leader anywhere he needed him to, and also trying his best to keep his excitement contained.

The morning alarm of his scroll began to sound, and Zai grimanced, being roused from a dead sleep. It wasn't loud by any means, but his hearing was a bit sensitive. It was certainly loud enough for him with his scroll being next to his head. He sat up, and yawned loudly. "You guys, it's time to get ready for class."

Strelitzia Aurum​

"Five more minutes..." she muttered, pulling her pillow over her head. "Or ten... or twenty..." She just wanted to sleep. What could be so important anyway? Sleep was more important than- SCHOOL! Strelitzia shot up, her hair in disarray and obvious dark circles around her eyes. She probably should not have indulged herself in that love novel until 3am. "Leeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadeeeerrr!" She whined at Duke, glaring at him through half-closed eyes. "Do we really have to go to class today?"

With a groan, Paige rolls herself out of bed, choosing to ignore the whining of Strelitzia for the moment. She drags her feet across the room to a dress to grab her uniform and wanders off somewhere to get changed. Paige was fully aware that the guys might be respectful enough to not look but she just liked the alone time it bought her, returning when she's ready.

Zai swung his legs over to the side of his bed, yawning loudly again. He rubbed his eyes of the night's dreams. "Guys. GUYS. Please, it's time to get up. I'd rather we not be late on our first day of school." Zai finally stood, his stripes and orange back sharply contrasting against the pale blue walls of their dorm room. He began to pull various uniform peices from his assigned dresser, throwing them across his bed. They weren't the most stylish, but he liked the uniforms anyway, it was one of the few things he had missed from his days at the Academy back in Mistral.

As Zai began dressing, scarring was readily apparent on his upper left shoulder, and then more jaged scars running down across his back and around his hip. He quickly began brushing his hair back, getting any knots and such that might have developed over night. "You guys getting up yet?"

Duke Blu
Duke watched in amusement as he watched Ivory face planet into the floor, holding back a chuckle as he watched his bigger teammate get up. Then Duke glanced to Paige, smiling as he watched her get up herself. She didn't seem to happy about waking up, but at least she didn't really complain about it.
Then there was his dear partner, who seemed less then inclined to get up.
With a snort, the young man closed and pocketed his scroll, before wandering over next to Strelitzia's bed. All the while, Duke had met eye contact with her, as he looked down on the young girl.
"Why yes, my friend, we have to. Otherwise why are we even here?"
Taking a hand out of his pocket, he proceeded to stick his pointing finger into one of Strelitzia's cheek.
"Maybe if you didn't spend ALL night readin' that manga or whatever, you might have actually had the energy to wake up. Now c'mon..." Duke said, putting his hand back into his pocket. "...you can sleep in class today...just as long as your there for attendance. The profo probably ain't even going to go over anythin' to important today besides the syllabus....Hurry up and get your butt out of bed...don't make me use my secret weapon on you, 'cause trust me sister, your not goin' ta like it."

Michael lazily lifted his head from his very comfortable pillow, “I didn’t plan on it but I guess I’m already up.” He replied before sluggishly pulling himself out of the bed and crawling towards his assigned dresser. He tossed his uniform onto the top of the dresser and began to dress himself, putting everything on except for the tie, “I’ve always hated ties. Too formal for me, y’know?”

Cong had waken up about an hour before hand and was currently sitting in a corner with his eye closed, sitting in a criss-cross. The bigger man was already dressed in full uniform, with his hair tied into a bun with a red piece of cloth rather then his usual green.
When the alarm bell rung, Yu simply opened an eye and glanced over at the scroll that was making the noise, before closing his eyes as he went back to mediating...

"I like the formality of our uniforms, but yes, the tie is a bit stuffy." Zai was now holding said garment, eyeballing it. "I've never liked these, either. Dad was always making me wear them." He sighed as he began to tie it and adjust the tightness to something comfortable. He put his solitary earring in, and turned to his team. "Who remembers who our first period teacher is?"

Ivory was waiting patiently for the rest of his team still trying to hold back his excitement. Seeing that Paige had got ready he walks up to her.
"Hey partner are you excited for our first day at beacon?"
He looked at her expectantly.

Archimal Mizarov​

Last to wake up among the team was Archimal Mizarov. The quiet childish little Huntsman of the team, known for his childish appearance and rather odd personality. Archimal slowly raised his head upon hearing the alarm annoying him off. Archimal's eyes were covered by his hair's long bangs. The boy slowly rose his upper torso away from the bed, he was hunched over his own back. Despite being from Atlas, he sure doesn't have the behavior of one. He looks like he was brought back to life but as a zombie. Achimal slowly started to move away from his bed with little to slow effort. He was wearing his usual short sleeved button down shirt and red tie in bed? In fact he slept with the beacon uniform pants! He was like the very epitome of lazy. He slept through the night without changing to his sleeping clothes. Now his button down shirt is all wrinkled. He slept with a neck tie on too... Archimal rose up and began to prepare himself without even saying good morning to his fellow teammates. He was walking around weakly like he is about to collapse any minute. He didn't bother to move his bangs aside his face. His eyes were half opened, making sure that the he is walking down is a good and clear path. Archimal maybe awake but his focus is lost right now.

While preparing his uniform. He bumped into Zai, his leader by accident. Although he may have slightly bumped the Faunus. his head is still asleep. A few seconds later he raised his left hand towards Zai as a sign of apology. Much later, he bumped into another teammate of his which was Micheal, his partner. He was getting abit too careless around the room so he paid a little more attention to where he is going now. The boy was all over the place. Walking here, searching there. Archimal was walking around just to look for his uniform which was just all in one corner. Archimal only wore the blue vest and his favorite boring plain teal jacket with hood, that was pretty much it. He just hid the wrinkles of his button down shirt using his jacket. His normal outfit wasn't so far off from Beacon's uniform, that is how he got dressed so quickly. Archimal did little effort on fixing his hair and fixing himself in general. The boy looks lousy but he didn't seem to care unlike all his other handsome teammates. Archimal just overlapped the beacon uniform blazer over his jacket, wrapping around his shoulders. It looks extra stuffy but Archimal wasn't complaining. Lastly, he went back to his bed to get one more item. His headset, he wore it around his neck with extra, in fact the hedset looks so clean and unscratched it could be mistaken as something new and fresh out of the box. Before he took his leave, he gave his tall teammate, Yu. A pat on his shoulder, attempting to wake him up gently. He didn't say anything to wake him up, he just... patted him. Archimal walked out of the room, going outside the halls. He left his teammates in peace. If one goes around looking for him. They will find he didn't go too far off. In fact he is just close by the doorway to his team room. Just sitting and leaning against the wall with his hood covering his head, it seems like he decided to take a short snooze while waiting for the team to get ready. His head was looking down to the ground while he hugs both of his knees. Looks like a crying position but in reality he's just sleeping. He did all of this without saying a single word to his team.

Strelitzia Aurum​

"Tsk," she mumbled, pushing Duke's finger away from her cheek sulkily. Lesson or no lesson, it's not like she actually needed to pay attention, anyway- she knows enough about Grimm and the History of Remnant already. Maths and science isn't a problem for her, either. "Save your secret weapon. I'll be ready in... ahh" she yawned, exaggerating the action, "5 minutes." Sluggishly, she threw her blankets off, uncaring if it may have hit anyone else in the room, and trudged off into the bathroom where she brushed her teeth and wrestled her hair into her normal hairstyle. When finally satisfied with her appearance (through more slovenly than anyone else in the room), she put her uniform on and patted it to clear it of imaginary dust. Her uniform didn't differ much from the students, though she refused to wear the dainty little red bow around her neck, instead using a thicker lavender bow that matched her normal outfit.

She spent more than 5 minutes in the bathroom- though she's sure Duke won't hold it against her that much... Maybe just another poke or two in the cheek. Tapping his shoulder to get his attention before all but dragging him towards the mess hall.

Aster Lisianthus​

Seated comfortably on the row of chairs and tables closest to the main entrance of the mess hall, is a boy- with slicked dark burgundy hair, mismatched red-and-gold eyes, and the standard Beacon uniform without a jacket. Aster didn't really care for his jacket- must've left it somewhere in the dorms. Speaking of the dorms, Aster was the first to wake, but did not bother waking up his teammates gently. Instead, he allowed them to wake at their own pace, and if they didn't, he rigged the dorm's music player to blast loud, blaring and awful music. Well, not really awful, Aster thinks, but more along the lines of 'So overused in memes it hurts'. Getting ready didn't take long for him, and as one of the earliest in the mess hall, he got the premium picking of food and had a feast of eggs, fruit, toast and bacon piled up on his self-assigned team table, ready for his teammates to consume- if they ever came in early, that is.

No one else from his team, or class is here yet, and Aster didn't really feel like mingling with other early risers. Instead, he put his feet up on the table, whipped out his Scroll and began playing one of the trendiest Scroll games available right now- Magi ☆ Mari! The cheerful, over-the top cutesy music paired with Aster's humming is the loudest noises one can hear right now in the Mess Hall as he waited for others to arrive.

Waking up to really loud music that you happened to hate was not fun. Aki woke up with a start and gave a huff of annoyance. She looked around the dorm to see that the only person missing was Aster. Aki sighed and got up. She contemplated turning off the music, but she decided her teammates could turn it off themselves. She put in her earbuds, turned on her own music and went and got dressed. Right before she left for breakfast Aki spied Aster's jacket and grabbed it.

Aki walked into the mess hall. She quickly spied Aster sitting at a table. Aki threw Aster's jacket at him, aiming for his face.

Michael was distracted by fixing his hair, even though he really didn’t need to. He didn’t seem to notice his biggest teammate, Yu, meditating or his partner, Archimal, waking up. He hummed quietly while he grabbed his beanie from the the dresser before Archimal bumped into him. Mike glared at him for a moment, debating whether or not he should make a comment. He decided yes, “Watch where you’re going, bud.” He said, slipping his beanie into his head. He shook his head and sighed, “Some people...”

Michael’s attention returned to his beanie while he meticulously moved it around so it look perfect, or at least good enough. After he deemed it was finished, he turned to his leader, Zai, “First period? It was...uh...I think it was...maybe...I dunno. I wasn’t paying attention during any of that stuff. Too many pretty girls.”

Zai sighed. "There will be time for that nonsense later." He smiled, thinking of how classes would go. Zai picked up his scroll, looking at the time. "Where's that orientation folder they gave you? Mine's in the car." Looking around, Zai turned his question to his team. "Do you guys remember?"

Paige glanced at Ivory, wondering how he can be so hyped so early in the morning. "Um.. I guess I'm ready." She shrugged, not particularly caring one way or another. It was hard to get her hyped about school. It wasn't that she slacked off or anything, she just found the work tedious and time consuming.

Duke closed his eyes and smiled, happy that his partner was finally getting up.
Returning to his previous position on the wall, he leaned his head down a bit and closed his eyes as he waited for the rest of his team to get ready.
Duke never always played by the rules, so he really didn't care how long his teammates took a few minutes longer to get ready; he would have cared, however, if it would have taken a half hour for them to change.
Regardless, when everyone was ready and present, he simply glanced up and smirked, toothpick still dangling out of his mouth.
"You lot ready to get going?"

Cong Yu
Yu didn't respond when Archimal patted him on the shoulder but...he opened an eye when his team leader asked for the orientation folder.
Closing his eye again, Yu reached into his inner blazer and pulled out his folder, before tossing it side ways to his leader with a bit of force, before returning to his meditation.

Oliv Blitz
Truth be told, there were two people missing from the room that morning.
The moment Aster had left the room, Oliv opened his eyes. You couldn't really read his expression, because he still had on his balaclava from the previous day of initiation. In fact, aside from his shoes, his flak jacket, and his helmet, the young man was still more or less in his combat outfit when he went to sleep.
Oliv stayed in bed for a couple more moments, both his hands were behind his back, as he made sure his teammate was sufficently down the hallway.
After Oliv was sure he left, the young man proceeded to get dressed into his uniform. Staring into the mirror, the last thing he needed to do to complete his uniform was...to take of his mask.
With a quick huff, he proceeded to take off his balaclava with little effort. Looking back into the mirror, he was greeted by a unsually smily face.
There had been times when Oliv himself forgot what his own face looked like.
Regardless, the young man would quietly leave the room, making sure not to disturb the remaining of his teammates...he had some business to attend to..
...
It was only after Aki had tossed Aster's jacket at Aster's face did Oliv show up bhind Aki, a smile on his face.
"Well...good morning you two..." The young man said with a uncharacteristic smile. The two probably didn't even recognize his face, considering it had been behind a mask and helmet all through initiation but... soft spoken voice was what gave him away.
"You know Aki..." Oliv said, pocketing his hands. "...that'z not a very nice way of greeting someone this early in zi morning."

"And playing rigging a music player to play annoying music is not a very nice way to get woken up. It was just simple revenge." Aki said, going to sit at the table. "Good morning." She added a few seconds later trying not to be rude. Or well, trying to be less rude seeming as she had already thrown a jacket at Aster.

"Hm... thank you, Yu." Zai picked it up gingerly, and opened it up to the schedule. "Looks like... a seminar by Dr. Oobleck." He started wondering why he hadn't entered this into his scroll, but shrugged it off, scanning the schedule with his scroll then. "Next... looks like a class with Proffessor Goodwitch. Then its about three hours til a lecture with Professor Port. And then we're done for today."
