What makes Running Academy unique is simply its lack of humans.
Running academy was made a long time ago when humans and monsters were at war. The school was for the children of monsters to protect them from humans and give them an education on survival. But when the war ended and the humans and monsters were in peace with each other the school changed a few of its customs.
It is now accepting a few human children into the school of monsters. This is to see how at peace the humans and monsters truly were. The humans have no protection from the monsters that live inside the school and the monsters have few rules to block them from the humans.
