Rules on social media?

I'm sorry if this is answered in the rules, I have read them and the section on Advertisement didn't specify anything to do with social media sites. Is it allowed to link (in your signature or about me page) to your social media pages (like tumblr, twitter etc)?


Sorry again if I'm being a bit slow or if I've not read the rules properly (as much as I am sure I have done).

I think this has been addressed in updates, so you probably won't find it in the rules. The general policy for this is that any personal/offsite account information can only be exchanged via pm. This is to protect user privacy. I hope that helps.

This is honestly a bit of a gray area. If it's to a roleplay blog, then that might be something that needs to be taken down. However, unless their blog is filled to the brim with NSFW content and they aren't really advertising anything through it, I would tentatively say this is allowed. Still best shared in private though and feel free to report it if you aren't sure.
