My Note to All Readers!

What is RSA you ask? That answer is simple, it's a school, involving magic and fantasy. No don't hit that back button just yet! Hear me out! Yes it's a school but RSA is more than that. What started as a project with a set plot and ending has become a story that adapts as players play. What does that mean? It means that I have thought of multiple ways the story can progress or even end (although I don't want it to...). Players control their characters' destiny where I am simply creating a gateway, building a road, paving a path whichever term you like. With that said, I think it's time to let the real storytellers take over, accordions filled with everything you need are below. If you like what you see, bump the forum! Thank you!

A Brief History Told By Brothers

Basilisk

Ah..... Sssssooooo.... you got passst that rambly author? Heh heh heh... Good... You sssshow tenacity, valiance, and honor; perfect traitssss for a Vassskoliir... What isss that? You wonder why you are here, child? There isssss an eassssy ansssswer: you are intrigued by thisss roleplay and you want to know more before you conssssider bumping the forum, or announcing your interesssst. Allow me the Thyeronic Lord and Master of the Bassssilisks to explain. "Lowers head in a fierce bow." It all ssstarted when...

Dragon

Stop! I will not allow you to frighten these people brother! "Bows with extreme grace" Please forgive my brother, he was once a Dragon like me but he chose a darker path, a path of lies and deceit. Allow me the Draconic Lord of the Realm of Dara'Okarthel to properly explain. The story of the Vaskoliir started in the year 751 of the Celian age. The Human Kingdom of Joten was being decimated by the Alveric Elves, led by Emperor Elzaniel Nathrien who was on a religious crusade driven to eliminate all mankind. It was indeed a dark time for the Kingdom of Joten...

Basilisk

Did I sssay you could interrupt my ssstory?! You Dragon whelp, now I have to continue where you left off, and you didn't even ask to be here! "Turns attention back to the reader" Anywaysss, The Human King, Melnorix Leskor, was trying his very bessst to find alliesss against thisss fanatical enemy. Alasss it was to no avail - no help came, not even from the 'mighty' Dragonssss. What? Why didn't I help them? Well I couldn't! I was still stuck in prison for being a 'hideous abomination against the Draconic Imperium' among other charges... But that'sss for another story... In order to sssurvive... King Melnorix looked for another meansss of victory...

Dragon

Yes that's correct, you Basilisk bastard. However if you weren't imprisoned you would've known what a Vaskoliir actually is. It's Draconic for 'Gifted Soul'. In the simplest of terms it is someone who has been gifted with a very special power unique to them. The first of these gifted souls was a man named Aior Skülgärd, a legendary warrior gifted with unstoppable momentum. During the siege of Frostburne, Aior and 4 other gifted souls fought against the Alveric elves with immense success. They were so successful that King Melnorix enlisted them into Joten's army as Elite Soldiers.

Basilisk

More like exxxxpendable sssoldiers. Their firssst and only 'official' mission was to assssssassinate the Elven General Paladin Zihelien, who wassss entrenched deep within Alveric territory defended by an entire battalion of Elven sssoldiers. What is the term that humansss use? Ah yessss... Ssssuicide mission. However these humansss managed to succeed in killing the general without being detected. Over a period of three yearssss, the newly dubbed Vaskoliir were very sssssuccessful in many tasksss. Finally, with the help of the Orcish clan of Oruguun, King Melnorix led a final asssssault against Elzaniel at the capital city of SSSSolasuun.

Dragon

That's correct! With an ally finally siding with him, and the elite soldiers at his side; King Melnorix led an army of orcs and humans against the Alveric Elves. In a climactic final duel Aior's group fought against Elzaniel's personal guard using their gifts to their advantage. Suddenly a bright light engulfed the battlefield, and when it cleared the battle was won but at a terrible cost. Aior and almost all his companions had fallen leaving just one sole survivor, a young boy, barely a man, named Zerath Yavernsky. While they had won the war against Alver, all sides paid a horrible price.

Basilisk

You're telling me! Elzaniel was forced back to hisss homeland to endure the most horrid punissshment anyone can imagine! The orcsss lost their chieftain along with many warriors and King Melnorix had a ruined kingdom to repair with almost no sssupport. That's when Thyeron decided to sssend off our hard earned wealth as a sign of peace and acceptance towards humanity, much to my dismay... But that'ssss not all. Vaskoliir started to appear in all of the kingdoms of Vian. Unfortunately they were not given a warm welcome. In fact, they were ssshunned by their peers, rejected by society, and treated like monsters. Ssssounds positively delightful to me heh heh heh...

Dragon

Of course it pleases a demented snake such as you. For these gifted souls, however, their lives had literally been turned into living hell. Children were abandoned, innocents were publicly shamed, and some were even attacked in attempted murder. In order to save them from this danger, Zerath begged King Melnorix to give these people a place to live in safety, a place where they could be taught to control their gifts so that they could hopefully one day rejoin society or become part of something more. Thus, Ris'Saliance Aior, the school for the Vaskoliir, was born with Zerath Yavernsky as the school's headmaster.

Basilisk

In ssssalute to thosssse who follow Aior.' Issss the translation in ancient human tonguesssss. Sssuch an odd name for an orphanage for 'gifted' ssssouls. Ssstill, I can't complain ssssince I didn't make it. As it ssssstands right now, the school offerss2ss many different curriculum from bassssic math and literature to complex magic curriculum all the way up to military training. Not what I would call the bessst method for merging them back into sssociety, but that issss where you come into the sssstory. What path will you choose, Vaskoliir? The choice is yoursss...

What This Story Entails - Orc Style

GRRAAAHHH!!! Horingmar can't believe HE has to talk about stories... Horingmar should be fighting something right now! "slams axe on the ground" If Horingmar do this, he do it his way. Like the lizards told you, main location is the School Ris'Saliance Aior. What? High School? What on Orzhaan is 'High School?' Well, school itself is floating very high in air so there, high school! It is meant to be hidden sanctuary for Vaskoliir that world has shunned. This story by nature is fantasy inclined story, but it has lot of real-like elements. By that I mean puny author spent lot of time researching sword techniques, armors, sword techniques against armors and no armors, some martial arts, and also basic tech-y stuff; a worthy adversary, he is. Story itself is set in more Renaissance (like Golden Compass for some example) era, meaning that there is tech stuff in world, but it no common yet. There are 7 main kingdoms each with own nobility, structure, and race. Puny author created five options for puny players to choose race, and although he insist that you can make original races, HE SPENT HOURS MAKING THESE AND YOU DISCARD THEM?! GRAAAH!!! "Reads from piece of paper" Character choices for race will be Human, Orc, Dwarf, Alveric (Sun) Elf, and Voralian (Moon) Elf. (Do not confuse this for DnD since this has absolutely NOTHING to do with DnD by any means. [DnD? Horingmar played kick skull for fun!]) *continues reading, getting slightly frustrated" You will be allowed to make a custom race, which can be from any of other RPs, but make sure race would have good backstory and if race you use not originally yours, get permission from the race's maker and give credit. All 5 races have specific class of warrior, mage, rogue, thing unique to race which will be revealed later. Custom classes allowed but author asks that you keep them to warrior/mage/rogue group, and that they be equal with strengths and weaknesses. This author is total nerd! This story will have background plot behind it, HOWEVER author intends to keep this casual story with detailed setting, meaning you don't NEED multi-paragraph posts, but he expect at least 1 paragraph of stuff in each post (6 sentences in paragraph). The initial story will of course lead the characters but Horingmar wants you to know that you can be creative, and 'go with flow' if necessary. There can be good guys, neutral guys, and even bad guys if you want roll that way. New feature is adapting plot, meaning you get control how the story will progress - FREEDOM FOR ORZHAAN! - ...I mean - FREEDOM FOR PLAYERS! Now some other detail: romance allowed but of course keep it PG-13. Sensual speech pretty much most he can allow. Use fade to black as necessary. As he said you can have your character be bad guy if you choose, how choose to do is up to you, be it secret sabotage or overall bad behavior WHICH I NOT TOLERATE WELL! As long as there no murder of other players you will be fine. What are you waiting for? bump the forum already!

The Story's Beginning

It was a warm day, the Autumn winds were coming in from the east bringing a cool breeze with them. Headmaster Zerath waited in a forest clearing surrounded by trees with yellowing leaves coating the land beneath him. He waited eagerly for the arrival of the new Vaskoliir, hoping that his many letters had reached their intended recipients. It had been ten years since he'd seen another Vaskoliir lose all his comrades at the final battle at Solasuun. Supposedly, there were new Vaskoliir appearing around the world of Vian, people just like him. Unfortunately, they were treated like freaks or outcasts among society and were being killed for their special gifts. Zerath couldn't stand seeing kindred souls being killed in cold blood, so he formed Ris'Saliance Aior - to create a save haven for these people. Hopefully, with time and guidance, they will be able to either rejoin society as equals or choose their own paths. Some called it odd that Zerath, the weakest out of Aior's group, survived. A violent explosion such as the one Elzaniel used should have killed any living being, but he survived. Zerath thanked his gift for saving his life, since his gift allowed him to absorb any form of energy and cancel it out as if it never existed. If only he could use it to save his friends, then maybe people today wouldn't be treated so harshly. Horingmar approached from the forest with a group of people from all of Vian following him. Head Collector Sean Ramirov followed, with his own group of people close behind. Looks like his letters were successful, maybe there was a chance that Vaskoliir would be accepted into society if RSA becomes successful. Horingmar walked up, handing him a small list of names of people who answered the call. "It seems your method succeeded. Horingmar found all of them at meeting point. Ramirov was already there with those you flagged for collection." Horingmar said quietly. "Were there any problems? Any incidents?" Zerath asked. "None." Horingmar replied. Zerath smiled and faced the many gifted people. "Hello, friends and fellow Vaskoliir!" he yelled. "You are here because the world has treated you as freaks, monsters, a plague on society. I'm here to say that that's not true! You are not freaks - you are special beyond all comprehension. While the world may not see it that way, there are some that do, and what we are going to do is do our best to prepare you for a return to society as equal citizens of wherever you came from. We have prepared a special place just for people like us, a place where you can be safe from all the dangers of the world! Collector Ramirov, ready the spell please!" Upon hearing his command, the masked man stood in the center of the clearing, using his staff to draw a magic symbol in the shape of a circle that formed into a sphere. It enveloped everyone, filling them all with a warm, energized, sensation. Beautiful swirls of blue energy flew into the air, each one attaching itself to a person. Some were nervous, while others stood perfectly still. "Now, let's begin shall we?" ... To be continued.

The Vaskoliir Academy

So It Begins!

It had been ten years since he'd seen another Vaskoliir since he lost all his comrades at the final battle at Solasuun.

Head Collector Sebastian Ramirov followed, with his own group of people close behind.

Collector Ramirov, ready the spell please!"

Upon hearing his command, the masked man stood in the center of the clearing, using his staff to draw a magic symbol in the shape of a circle that formed into a sphere. It enveloped everyone, filling them all with a warm, energized, sensation. Beautiful swirls of blue energy flew into the air, each one attaching itself to a person. Some were nervous, while others stood perfectly still.

"Now, let's begin shall we?"

"I hope you aren't afraid of heights..." Sebastian said, his voice muffled by his mask. He lifted his hands skyward and started speaking in harsh tongues, causing the magical energy to literally grab the small army of Vaskoliir. His eyes glowed fiery red under his mask as his chants echoed around the clearing. With a confident gesture, he took his staff and aimed it skyward. "Brelnor... Ziendara!" He bellowed.

The energy that had surrounded the students now lifted them high into the air at astonishing speed, crushing them with immense gravitational force. Within a mere fraction of a second, the magic had taken them to a grand marble-built structure, one that floated high into the clouds. Sebastian fell to his knees, exhausted from the ritual.

"Well done, friend." Headmaster Zerath whispered, aiding Sebastian to his feet. When he looked back at the students, many were keeled over; nauseated by the teleportation spell. He gave them a moment to recover before speaking.

"I welcome you all, fellow Vaskoliir, to Ris'Saliance Aior! Your new home, here our very well qualified teachers shall be teaching you to control your precious gifts so that one day you may one day either rejoin society or become part of something far bigger. No one can hurt you here, since our school sits miles above the Wuld Forest; a powerful barrier prevents atmospheric pressure from affecting us, but it doesn't stop you from falling to a gruesome death. So please watch your step! Dinner will be in a few hours so feel free to explore our many classrooms and facilities, however, the lower levels are strictly forbidden. Anyone caught in these areas will be punished severely... After dinner you will be given a dorm and a class catalog. If you were collected, our Collector Sebastian Ramirov has already chosen your curriculum. Now please go on to fulfill your destiny!"

Tag Time! @Ami the breadling @Seraph Darkfire @Tetro @Ensig @Cosmo @Srion Receno @KingJackRabbit

There are no specific instructions for this scene as it's meant for everyone to introduce your character(s), feel free to interact with other players for the time being. A following dinner scene will be set after everyone has gotten the chance to introduce themselves. Try to maintain some form of control, getting into scuffles is fine, but not full on death matches. Me and My co GMs @Anaxileah and @Ashaficent are here to make sure this doesn't fall out of control. If you are wondering about being introduced to the teachers, don't worry that'll come very soon, but for now I'd like to declare RSA officially started!

Intro

Delicate life & free willed souls was all that surrounded Asriel while he was walking through the forest with an anonymous figure leading the way. As the wind blew through his black hair & swayed the grass & flowers in it's current. This was peace, at it's finest. Asriel felt comfortable & was grateful of this anonymous meeting location. He felt at home, though the nearest piece of land his family owned was nearby not far from his present destination.

He avoided all of the vegetation so he would not harm them by his steps. As he did so he could hear their soft tones thanking him as he passed by. Smiling kindly, Asriel lifted his staff & ran his fingers around the top part which held his ancestors names.
"Good luck will be coming my way." He thought.

"What about good luck? You messing with your good luck charm again?" Asked Penelope, with her sweet energetic voice echoing within Asriel's head. "Hmm? Yes I am. It's like I can feel my elders as if they were still here...they're influence on this land must have been well known if the plants whisper about it today." He responded, feeling a bit overwhelmed with emotions of joy, but slight sadness. "You always have a intriguing way of viewing things. So where are we going again?" Asriel had looked around for a moment at caught a glimpse of the other people who walked alongside him. "Well I assume it's close to the center of the forest...and we have been walking through the forest, West, for an hour now so I believe we are nearing it." He responded, confident in his knowledge & sense of direction.

Afterwards...Asriel along with the anonymous figure & fellow collected had reached the center where another group of people stood behind a large Orc & a man stood in the middle of it all surrounded by the autumn trees. It's dying leaves floating gracefully to the ground as a gentle breeze knocks it from it's branch. The black haired man stood patiently & excited. He
"We are here." He thought while chuckling quietly to himself as he heard Penelope giggling excitedly.

The announcement has begun. Asriel had listened in closely & took a few steps closer as the man explained.

Collector Ramirov, ready the spell please!"

"Spell? What spell?" Penelope asked with a slight crackle in her echoed voice. "It's nothing bad don't worry." Asriel reassured. As the masked man created a symbol that later shaped itself into a sphere around everyone. The warm feeling it gave him as a blue thread like energy made it's way towards him. This was a fascinating experience as a phrase was uttered which sent the sphere flying into the air at neck breaking speed. Asriel had lost his balance along with everyone else excluding the three men who seemed unaffected by the spell's process, & fell onto one knee while supporting himself with his staff. Once the motion had ended Asriel had looked around to where the sphere had put all of them now. "Wow..." He thought as he helped himself on his feet. Noticing the others who seemed a bit more uneasy with the fast pace movement, though it was surprising to others who were just as calm as he was recover so swiftly. "Very resilient, but who am I to judge others I do not know?"

The black haired man continued his introduction after helping the masked one to his feet. That spell took a toll on him it seemed.
"I welcome you all, fellow Vaskoliir, to Ris'Saliance Aior! "We were collected...much like the others we traveled with I assume. Um...Penelope? He asked a little concerned about how quiet she was. "I'm fine...just trying to keep myself together after that intense transportation. Asriel just chuckled at her before looking around at the others. "I think it's time to meet others don't you think?"

Yellow and brown leaves fell all around her, making each step crinkle from crushing those leaves. Under a plain paper parasol Annabelle followed behind the masked Sebastian. The odd sight of a number other teenagers of species she didn't know existed made her quite nervous. Were they all being collected to be put away once and for all? The mask would make sense if they were.

Silently she listened to the man who said they were welcomed here. Annabelle carried on staring at the many animals in the orange forest, adjusting her black ears to listen to both at the same time. After she heard their escort walk up and make a perfect circle around them did Annabelle look back at the group. A loud yelp came from her as the ground fell away and a crushing sensation wrapped around her.

She didn't want to go through that experience again, though Annabelle. The blue sky circled her as she waited for the nauseating feeling to finally stop. Meekly she stood up using her parasol as support. Finally they were here, but she didn't know who to start talking to. They all seemed equally strange, even if Annabelle did have ears and a tail from her childhood.

Wynter walked along with to others his pace a little quicker than most excited to arrive at Ris'salience aohoo? He had no idea of how to pronounce the name but he hoped he would learn soon. He looked down from a brief moment noticing small footprints of ice that he created unwillingly, he quickly stopped the footprints looking back up at the leaves falling and crunching under the other's feet.

A circle was made around everyone and they were soon off the ground immediatly Wynter felt nauseated from being up so high. Almost as soon as they landed he felt his knees buckle and he collapsed to the ground trying to regain his breath. A few minutes later he recollected himself standing up a little glad that he wasn't the only one who fell.

Wynter listened silently a small smile plastered upon his face as he lightly rocked himself back and forth on his feet. He gingerly scratched his hair a few loose strands of hair falling freely around his face, he ignore it looked around at the different types of people. He saw a girl with ears and a tail, thinking she looked like a good person to talk to he walked over to her a smile still on his face.

"Hi, my name's Wynter." He said hesitantly extending her hand out to her hoping she wouldn't mind how cold they were. They were as cold as ice, well actually his whole body was but he could no longer feel the bone chilling cold.

Still panting from just almost being crushed to death from the air pressure Annabelle looked up. Seeing the feminine Moon Elf made her faintly smile, someone seems to care for her that isn't her family. "Than-" Annabelle fell back onto the floor from how cold those hands were. Her left hand let go of the parasol making it clatter to the ground. "W-well then, th-thanks for n-nothing" stuttered Annabelle, she felt like her whole body froze. It took a while before she could move her fingers again.

Getting up, this time using the parasol, she muttered under her breath "Why was I collected when there are other weirdos who have freakier powers than me?" . She brushed off the dust from her clothes. The parasol opened up to cover her from the sun before Annabelle stiffly said "Well my name is Annabelle Kia Rose, I suppose it's good to meet you Wynter. I can see why your name was picked for you.". Remembering that people weren't going to start berating Annabelle just for her little situation she decided to be a bit friendlier.

"So what made you come here Moon Elf?"

Everything was so exciting to her but were should she start, so many new friends could be made. She looked around as the spell was being made, but didn't quiet pay attention to the words as she shyly smiled. She was nervous, how could she meet new people if she hung back and didn't say anything. With so many different types of beings there she bit the inside of her cheek trying to worked up the courage to talk to at least on person there. Why was she being so shy now! There were already others talking to each other and she just stood there. What if they didn't like her? This thought made her step back slightly, wondering if she should even be there.

He put his hands in his hair nervously scratching it a bit. "Im sorry I should've warned you, my body temperature is really cold." He said apologetically, "it's nice to meet you Annabelle." He said putting his hands behind his back. He was going to ask what the parasol was for but decided against it. "Well actually I was collected but if I volunteered I'm sure I would've gone because it seemed fun and a great way to learn how to get my magic under control."

He rocked back and forth on his feet once more and looked up to her. "What made you come?" He asked still willing for nothing to freeze to his touch.

"Well actually I was collected but if I volunteered I'm sure I would've gone because it seemed fun and a great way to learn how to get my magic under control."
He rocked back and forth on his feet once more and looked up to her. "What made you come?" He asked still willing for nothing to freeze to his touch.
"Too much energy can do some things to you, you know? And sometimes the surgery goes a bit wrong." she vaguely told Wynter. Her tail flicked a bit after she thought about what just happened. "Well lets go check out our rooms then, I want to see what sort of place this is. Maybe if it's possible you can be my roommate? We've all had bad things happen to each other so it would be nice if we can just be together after how people treated us outside of this place." and with that Annabelle did a small twirl with her cream parasol and started trotting off to the girls' dorms.

"Um I don't think they would allow us to be roommates." Wynter said as she started walking "I don't think they would allow opposite genders to stay in the same room for... Obvious reasons." He said not moving from where he was. 'Does she think I'm a girl?' He thought while while fixing one of his ponytails too much hair having fallen out of it.

"But I do agree it you. It would be nice if we could all get all with each other." He said looking around at the other students and how everyone did seem to be getting along nicely.

Haruka Kake | Kara

Kara walked at a moderate pace behind the Orc that had gathered the gifted ones -- or 'Vaskoliir' as they had been called on this continent. The young Oni looked left and right constantly, taking in the beautiful yellow-to-brown leaves set upon the trees. "Mnnh...!" Kara stretched her arms upward, embracing more of the sunlight as a cool breeze swept by. As the wind passed an orange leaf, similar to the color of her skin, blew against her head and got caught in her short brown hair. Kara promptly took the leaf out, and examined it while walking.

"Ne'r seen one li' this b'fore..." she muttered to herself before grinning widely and placing the leaf's stem into her mouth, humming a nondescript song to herself happily. This whole land was ripe with things she didn't know about; beautiful, scary, exciting, mysterious things! With a stray line of lightning sparking off her horns, Kara's steps quickened, only to slow down again after almost overtaking the Orc leading the group.

When they arrived at the clearing, Kara looked left and right while trying her best to stand in one place. She was only partially paying attention to the Human in the center, as she had more interest in the individuals around her than his words at the moment. She hadn't gotten a good look at any of them around her on the walk there, given the fact that she might have tripped over someone if she didn't limit herself to looking at the scenery. Just how many races were gathered here, she wondered. Every race other than her own were so wonderfully new to her, so she had to keep herself from staring too long at each and every one. Just thinking about learning so much more about these individuals almost made her burst with excitement.

After the Human's speech seemed to finish, however, her attention returned to the center (or, more accurately, the masked man who had released a magic of some sort). Kara clenched and unclenched her fist as she felt the energy flowed into her. She then looked towards the wispy blue energy that approached her, and attempted to reach out and grab it... Only to engage in a series of grabs that only met air.

"I hope you aren't afraid of heights..." she heard a Masked man say, snapping her out of her 'duel' with the light. Excitedly, Kara quickly attempted to reply to the man. "Oh, 're we gonna climb somethi--" "Brelnor... Ziendara!"

Interrupted, Kara wondered just what kind of words the man spoke before finding herself lifting off at a speed similar to what she would feel jumping upwards with her legs reinforced. Only a moment later, Kara landed neatly with one knee on the now-marble ground, and quickly rose to her full height to take a look around her, slightly bewildered at what had just happened. That bewilderment only grew, however, as the group was no longer among a clearing of trees... They now stood among the clouds.

Unintentionally, Kara let out a quiet "Uooh..!", causing the leaf she had held in her mouth to fall as she gazed upon the spectacle. With a light breeze, the leaf blew off into the clouds, now a great distance away from its brethren. Only a moment later, Kara's mystification transformed fully into excitement, and she quickly ran to the edge of the platform, placing a hand horizontal to her forehead as to shade the sunlight overhead and looking over the horizon.

Although the wind might make one fear falling off the ledge, Kara didn't seem bothered in the slightest by the heights and stood strong, looking out over the clouds and releasing "Uwaaah!"s, "Woaaah!"s, and "Amazin'!"s all the while.

The mention of the two not being able to be roommates made her stop in her path. "Wait, but you're a girl. You have ponytails and everything." After Wynter did up his pigtail she added "You're even acting like one. What do you mean by we can't stay together? You're a girl." Annabelle studied him a bit more and swished her tail a bit, confused. No boys have pigtails or dress likes a girl. As Annabelle waited for his answer she turned to look at the magnificent view, with birds and mystical creatures gliding around them.

"But I'm not acting like a girl... At least I didn't think I was..." He said looking back up at her to see what she was looking at. He turned his head towards the view and it was pretty epic to say in the least.

Seiren had arrived some time before everyone else, though his presence had widely gone unnoticed. He hadn't spoken to anyone, though his quiet cold air wasn't really welcoming either. He'd been traveling for some time and hadn't gotten time to properly meditate. Fortunately, it was Autumn, the closer it got to true winter the more effective his training would become. That was why he personally enjoyed the cold months, the Yin energy of the world was far more abundant as everything died, making way for the cold.

When someone began talking, he felt inclined to ignore it, those who'd showed up had been talking since they got there, but this was different, all of the other voices stopped to listen to this one. Slowly pulling himself out of his meditative state, he looked towards the man who was speaking and frowned slightly. He wondered what was the problem with being a monster? Monsters were powerful and destructive. To beat a monster, you had to use another monster.

'I'd rather be a monster than allow others to walk all over me' he thought as some kind of magic was being cast over all of them. He probed this magic with his spiritual energy. There was no malicious intent coming from it so he let it do as it pleased. Then the magic activated, a powerful force pulling on his body.

It was fortunate that he was already sitting down. His body was certainly stronger than normal, he could normally withstand normal gravitational pulls, but this was an extreme variation, considerably more powerful than even the caster.

Seiren was annoyed though. So much for a safe place if those in charge couldn't even be trusted to prepare you for a teleportation spell. He sighed and slowly stood up, looking around. He found it amusing that they claimed that no one could hurt them. This was a school, there were bound to be overbearing people who thought they could beat others into submission.

He gave a light grin 'Let them come, I'll turn them into beautiful Ice Sculptures'

Intro

I hate you, and you, and you, and you, and especially YOU, and you, and ESPECIALLY, ESPECIALLY YOU. A perpetual frown graced Phoenyx's usually pleasant face as she mercilessly sent hateful thoughts towards everyone around her. The small group of Vaskoliir, led by the strange masked man, had been walking through a seemingly endless forest for quite some time now. She made no attempt to hide her irritation, as she stomped on everything during the whole way and cursed at every little thing. She had decided that she hated everyone in the group. Was she being rational? No. Did she care? BIG no.

They finally reached a clearing, where more students awaited them, along with a large, muscular orc and a man Phoenyx recognized as Headmaster Zerath.
And this is the man I hate most of all.

She listened to his little speech, glaring daggers at him the whole time.
Sorry - correction: MY LIFE WAS PERFECTLY FINE! And here I am being told that I was supposed to have been treated like a monster. Screw you, old man. Then he announced something about a spell, and Phoenyx watched with wide eyes as the masked man drew a glowing blow symbol on the ground with his staff. Blue swirls or arcane energy encircled all of the students' waists - including hers. She almost let out a shriek of surprise - her powers weren't active and she hadn't been expecting that. "I hope you aren't afraid of heights..." Spoke the masked man, and her precognition powers came into action and told her about what was going to happen a moment too late.

They teleported. And Phoenyx suspected that she had left her stomach behind in the forest.

The spell had taken a toll on the students as well as the masked man. The redhead fell to the ground exhausted along with him, only no one helped
her up. She let out a small groan, as she stood back up to her feet with painstaking effort. She felt lightheaded and dizzy, but she managed to keep steady. She barely registered what the Headmaster said, as she looked around in awe. Despite her reluctance to be there, Ris'Saliance Aior was undeniably a grand place. Simply beautiful.

She pushed bangs of red hair back from her blue eyes, and looked around the students, who had already started interacting with each other. Thinking a bit more clearly, she didn't want her time spent in the school to be entirely miserable - she did want to make some friends. But at the same time, she felt unsure about approaching anyone. She internally sighed.

Why did socializing have to be so hard?

~?~?~?~?~?~?~?~?~?~

Walk. They had forced her to walk. Through a forest like some common houseless plebeian. The woman, well, whatever her name was, Xanya was sure it was important and she would have to learn it eventually when she must had lead their group of.. students... students, would that be the correct word for the rabble that had surrounded her earlier? For lack of a better replacement for the filthy lesser creatures, it would have to do. The forest could have been beautiful, she had no doubt that it likely was, but she was far to busy fuming over the poor means of transportation they employed, were they so destitute and pathetic they could not afford those beast they commonly used the.. Horses? While the Vavin made use of greater, more lithe beast, those 'horses' would have sped it up considerable, or even better, carriages, something relaxing she could have been sitting in as she enjoyed the passing scenery, but no, instead they were forced to walk. Her once flawless red silk robes now had dirt caked on the bottom... dirt. The mere thought of the expensive, beautiful clothe stained so was enough to send shivers down her spine.

Her fuming was brought to an end when, it seemed, they had finally made it as the man who had an air of importance, well, for a lesser being but then a lot of insects tended to carry themselves as if they mattered, checked in with their intrepid leader who had forced them to drudge their way through the forest. Perhaps it meant the journey was over? The insufferable walking? Xanya would have liked nothing more then to sit down for a spell, but it was denied as as the man entered a speech which, while expected, did nothing to alleviate her annoyance at the situation.

Freaks? Xanya could only blink in surprise at that accusation. Never had she been considered a freak before. If her mother had not wished her to come to this place to learn more about the other races, she would have become a priestess, a position of great honor and influence with her people as her power was a blessing from the gods, but she could see how the lesser creatures would fear such gifts. They were a primitive bunch, shrieking and shying away from the warmth of fire for fear of the crackle. And, moreover, she had no intention of returning as an 'equal' of a citizen. She was better then them, that was not an opinion, a simple observation of fact. She was a member of the main branch of one of the most powerful Vavin families, the citizens? The lucky ones folded her clothes.

Her azure eyes narrowed as he prepared a 'spell', and her spine stiffened at the sensation, her mind instantly blocking it out with the practiced ease of a telepath. No one made her feel anything she did not wish to, and she was offended this
Human, would attempt such a violation of one's mind and soul, it could simply be an aftereffect of the spell he was casting, but willful ignorance was not innocence. Her indignation disappeared at the sight of the blue... well, bubble that surrounded them. The wisp of energy that danced through the air like leaves upon the wind attracted her attention like a magnet and she reached out to gently touch one of the wisp marveling at how it curled around her hand to slid up her wrist and touch her chest, Magic was not uncommon to her, but this particular spell had a certain beauty to it. She didn't hear what he said next, something about heights, as she was far too busy reaching out to touch the edge of the orb, her two gloved fingers coming out to gently caress the surface and give the gentlest of pressures. It gave it, but it did not break, the thin blue membrane reminded her of a substance she had once witnessed humans eating, gelatin, or something to that, it had amused her in how it had wiggled whenever someone took a bite or moved their cutlery too quickly.

The man roared something and Xanya's eyes widened as the world beyond the orb changed, as they soared past the trees and through the skies. The force pressing down on her body was nothing compared to the vision before her, of clouds and the ground so far below. For a moment, for just a moment, she had thought she had been flying and the sensation had been wondrous. Perhaps, these primitives, had such a spell? She doubted it, but she could hope for this spell, while intriguing, had taken its toll on the man, although, one thought did make her bitterly project,
'If we could have traveled thusly, why were we forced to walk through the accursed forest.'

She half-listened to the man as he, once again, spoke, but she shook her head lightly at 'dinner'. How she hated 'dinner'. A word she had never heard until she had gone with her mother to visit humans when she was a child. The lesser races always wanted to speak of matters of importance or 'bond' over 'dinner', and how she hated 'dinner'. It was revolting. Watching them stuff their gross chomping
orifices with the substance, the sounds of squishing and crunching that escaped, the occasional morsel that was lodged within their abominable teeth... One could not even look away else be considered rude, and even more so, the sound was only louder and more apparent when one was not looking.

Xanya snapped her eyes to a... well, she wasn't sure what
it was but it stood by the ledge, and if she had to guess, it was female. At first, she thought it was an Orc, a race she was not overly fond of, but the horns told her she was not one of the greenskins and, of skin, her's appeared like an overripe fruit yet it was oddly fitting. She had the strangest desire to touch her skin to see if it was as hot as it appeared, but she reframed especially when she heard the... thing talk. The spoken word was, well, not her way of communicating, and she could barely understand what the creature was saying. 'Amazin', she could only assume it was 'amazing' because, it sounded as such, but the words were mangled as if the creature spent most of her free time trying to beat the spoken word into submission and only used the battered, beaten and subjugated words that were contorted beyond all recognition.

She ran her gloved hand over her clothes, trying to even out the numerous wrinkles that covered the crimson robes whilst ignoring that numerous dirt stains that now marred its beautiful surface. Another sound of excitement from the oddly colored, very muscular woman caused Xanya's eyebrow to cock in irritation behind her mask, she was trying to be displeased and the other woman's natural exuberance was wearing on her patience,
"If you lean out further, you might see something interesting," Xanya send, the words spoken from her mind that would be 'reformed' into the... odd creature's battered and brutalized language, Xanya could only hope nearly falling would crush the excitement or, perhaps, she would tumble off and Xanya could go back to fuming over the situation in peace.

These Lips Are Sealed
A mass teleportation spell was certainly under his repertoire of spells, but this many people... It was far more draining than he anticipated. Zerath was kind enough to help him to his feet, a small gesture to promote respect and equality, although he was unsure what such a gesture would mean to some of these people. Sebastian looked out at the courtyard that was brimming with many different peoples. Kindred(Humans), Elves, dwarves, a few orcs, and even some unique prospects. A strangely feminine boy, some kind of mutant orc whose demeanor was extremely amusing, dragonkin, half animal hybrids, and some sort of masked high born woman who portrayed an aura of posh pride. It was very clear that she was not of the 7 kingdoms, yet she comes dressed like royalty with a behavior to match

Her interest in magic was clear, as she tried to touch the Teleportation sphere; perhaps she was trying to learn about the 7 kingdoms or just trying to prove self superiority. Such arrogant and poorly motivated pride was something Sebastian was not going to tolerate. He approached her, spinning Valezeil between his fingers with extreme agility. His steps were solid, vigilant, proud. The steps of a proud Frostburne born citizen of Joten, someone who knew his place in this world. Once his hidden eyes met the openings of her mask. If there was one advantage he had on her was that he too wore a mask, and he too was skilled in the high magics.

"You know, I wonder what you hide behind that mask, Miss Dar'Vollen..." Sebastian said, his voice muffled by the mask; panting heavily as he still recovered from the spell. "Wonder, beauty, pain? Perhaps disgust, hatred, and deluded pride. It is clear that your people is a great one, however it is clear that they didn't understand practicality." Sebastian said, pausing to look pitifully upon her dirt caked silk robes. "Silk is a great and beautiful fabric, for clothes sure, but also for bedsheets. If you want to know a harsh truth, it is that some people in our world dont get to follow the path of sophisticated beauty, serving as priests or scholars. No, we live in a world where many people work hard to attempt to live in a mere fraction of the 'beauty' that you flaunt so carelessly. What you see as a symbol of beauty, can be interpreted as a means of destruction for some. So tell me, why are you here in the world of gifted souls? Just to learn about us, well you came to the right place, but don't expect nothing but beauty." His eyes of illusion glowed bright red as he changed his image from a finely dressed man, to a demon with hideous eyes and features, then to a boy who was thin and obviously starved.

"Tell me... did you Like being teleported by a 'lesser' being? Seeing the sky rush by like you were flying? When you came to Vian... Were you... surprised that 'primitive' creatures could live in complicated society?" Sebastian growled angrily, changing back to his natural image. "Ill tell you this, I worked hard to become what I am, and that's because I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth. Tell me!" He spat. "What do you hide behind that mask?"

Headmaster Zerath approached, placing a hand on his shoulder, causing him to relax muscles that he didn't even know were tense. Zerath looked at Xanya, bowing as politely as possible.

"Please excuse our Collector, he has plenty of reasons to... dislike people who were born better than him." Sebastian fumed at those words, but there was nothing he could do. After all... Zerath saved him from the horrors of his past. Zerath handed him a scroll, signaling that there were more people scheduled to arrive. Sebastian took the scroll in his hand, briefly reading the names of those he had to bring to the school. With a smile under his mask, Sebastian faced Xanya holding Valezeil out in a gesture of respect.

"Maybe you can answer that question later. Until then... These Lips are sealed."

~?~?~?~?~?~?~?~?~?~

Hide behind her mask? Ah, yes, sometimes she forgot how the minds of lesser creatures worked. They wore mask to hide their face, either lacking individuality or the capability to act as they truly are without their identity behind hidden, it was almost amusing this creature thought the same of her. Xanya was her mask. Her mask was her. There was not a separation of identities. On mask, this 'man's' mask was a pathetic thing. Fashioned into a skull lacking any sense of soul or creative thought, it was a childish attempt to inspire dread in others, if he thought wearing a mask would work on someone like her, well, it was an amusing thought; if he had not worn it, she would have found his... Anger? Whatever emotion he was feeling that she did not care to pin would have been far, far more disconcerting. If anything, the mask made her feel, almost, at home even if the being talking to her was worth little more then the dirt clinging to the bottom of her robes.

"Is it my fault your 'civilization is flawed and that they fear you, perhaps, next time, you should not wear a skull mask if you desire to make a better first impression, hm? But that is your reality, whomever you are, and no, do not bother introducing yourself, I do not care for your name as lovely as I am sure it is," Xanya replied tilting her head, 'reality of the world', my, how the lesser creatures thought their laws somehow should impact her people was an odd thought. Was this creature upset that, unlike his own people, hers did not despise her? He seemed to know that, in her culture, people like her were looked upon with fondness, yet he seemed to know little else about her people as if he had once opened a book, a task that she was sure must have been exhausting for the creature, and plucked a single sentence from its depths.

Xanya blinked in surprise as he talked of her clothes. Envy was common, but she wasn't sure why this creature was now raving at her clothes, perhaps it was also her fault that she dressed better then this skull-faced creature? Should she have come in rags or something to make this lesser being feel better about his own inadequacy? Well, tis was a shame, but this creature would have to get over it... or he would not. It made little difference, she supposed.

What he did next did repulse her. Perhaps he meant it as a show of power, or, to show her how anyone can become anything with the proper power, but all she saw was someone destroying their 'selves' to become something else which was revolting. A soulless. Someone lacking individuality. Xanya was Xanya. The Vavin were the Vavin. One changed their mask based on their actions, their experienced, their lives, they did not change to something they were not and abandoned any sense of individuality even if it was nothing more then a childish display of skill. Was that what this was all about? This creature lacked a sense of whom he truly was and so felt the need to lash out at his betters and transform himself into a monstrosity? Well, she would file such knowledge away in her mind as, apparently, these creatures did not mind mutating themselves for
enjoyment.

This... thing grew more and more upset and for reasons she could not fathom. Why did she care what he had been through? Was... Was she supposed to be intrigued that he had not been born into wealth and went though some sort of troubles? Her brow furrowed in confusion over this, was it common for these creatures to walk up and share their life stories with someone who obviously did not care? Once again, he demanded to know what she hid behind her mask, and once again, she could only think he had plucked a single line from some tome, which must have been a special event for this creature, and that was the extent of his knowledge on her kind. She was her mask. Her mask was her. There was nothing behind it for she was it. She was not like this 'creature', Xanya did not bark and spit at people uninterested in her past while hiding insecurities about herself. She was who she was.

Xanya bowed her head slightly to the new arrival,
"He is excused," she said simply as if the tantrum she had witnessed was no more then a passing fancy, "If I was insulted at every piece of dirt that sought to cling to me, I would never get anything done," Xanya said, although she was very annoyed by this creature that sought to preach at her as if she was some troubled youth.

Her azure eyes jumped back to the skull face man who held out the object to her and bowed,
"No," Xanya said as she had very little interesting in talking to this creature.

This... 'situation' dealt with, Xanya turned back to the oddly hued excited creature from before dismissing the two men from thought,
"Apologies, where were we?"

Srion looked around nervously, it already seamed like the others were making friends or even some looked like they didnt want to be bothered. biting her lip lightly she didnt know quite what to do. looking around she seen so many interesting people and yet she couldnt really walk over to anyone. her mind was going back and forth to calling out, to walking up to others, then back to just staying quiet and worrying if people will like her. it almost felt like the town all over again, but this time with people around her age and of different beings. after a bit she made up her mind. taking a step foreword she gave her best smile and took a breath. "Hello everyone!" she called then quickly regretted it, but she did keep smiling.

Haruka Kake | Kara

Kara continued looking over the ridge, occasionally dashing around the perimeter of the Reception Area to take a look at other clouds, and to see the peaks of other mountains far off in the distance. She had only been here for a minute or so at best, but... Kara's excitement had already broken the first time she fought a Stone Kraken with her parents -- using only their bare hands.

"E'en th' me'ories bein' brou' 'ack are great kara! This place 's grea' kara!" Kara practically roared, a wide smile present on her face all the while. If she could, she would simply stand out here all day, looking over the world as the soft clouds passed them by... But she couldn't. Not because the Headmaster's decree to eat dinner in a couple of hours, but rather because of the words echoing within her head.

"If you lean out further, you might see something interesting."

"H-Huh?!" Kara immediately turned her head to where she thought the sound was coming from. Of course, given the fact that the words weren't 'heard' at all, she simply looked over the group of Vaskoliir with wide eyes before blinking a couple of times and scratching her head. She had definitely heard someone speaking in fluid Oni, but only another Oni would have known the language so well... Unless someone around here learned their language in only a couple of weeks, which was doubtful.

Kara nodded to her own conclusion, returning her attention to the clouds as an argument between the Skull-Mask man and another masked figure broke out. Perhaps they were fighting about their masks? Only slightly interested, Kara honed in on the conversation to hear 'What do you hide behind that mask?' from Skull-Mask. "Fightin' 'bout th' stuff 'hind th' masks? Ou'landers sure 're weir'..." Kara said to herself, bringing her attention back to the clouds.

"Apologies, where were we?"

"!!!" Kara immediately turned around again, scanning over the students once more before looking to the building, then over the ledge, searching for whoever spoke in her native tongue once again. After a couple of moments, Kara reached towards the necklace that was hidden under her chest's leather bindings and brought it over her head.

"隠れん坊カラ? 俺はあなたを見つけるでしょうカラナ!" Kara shouted, a grin on her face as the surrounding chatter became indecipherable to her. Still, she payed them no heed as her eyes narrowed, focusing on the group in front of her. Somewhere, one of her kin was hiding... And although she didn't know how they had managed to shrink to the smaller race's sizes, she was more than willing to question them when she found them.

The Japanese written above is legit, by the way. She uses the masculine pronoun for herself, too. Testament to her personality. A translation of it is 'Hide and seek Kara? I will find you Karana!'

As for the reason why her language changes... It has to do with her necklace. Read her CS for more details on that.

Dove flew low over the treetops, mostly gliding, and occasionally flapping a bit to regain altitude. She looks almost ethereal with her flowing grey hair and large grey wings. Her eyes were yellow hawk eyes, and they were wide open looking down at the ground beneath her. Suddenly her eyes focused in on a patch of grass below and she turned into a dive. She landed and her hand snapped out and pulled a rabbit from the grass. With a quick twist she snapped it's neck, and then Kirra spoke up Oh come on. That's just unappetizing. Dove smiled slightly and thought back to her minds other occupant You are a demon, and you find eating a rabbit unappetizing? Besides we both know we need it. You could at least cook it.

Dove shook her head and began to eat.
It was a somewhat gruesome sight as she tore into the rabbit with her teeth. She made short work of it reducing the rabbit to bones and scraps in a matter of minutes. Kirra spoke up again So what now? We certainly cannot go back to your family home, and judging by the last three villages that tried to kill us, finding somewhere new to live will be a problem. You should really have let me take care of them. I have not killed anyone in ages. They are just human. With my appearance they may have legitimately thought I was a monster. I am not going to let you hurt innocent people. To be honest I may just become a hermit. I do not want to scare people. I had hoped to find some new home but that may be a problem. Well I am trapped in your head, so I am rather bound to your choice. Dove just stood there for a moment contemplating her life as it stood. She still wore poor quality prisoners clothes, that were in poor condition, and somewhat blood stained. They would likely not hold up much longer, but she did not know how to make more. Kirra spoke up again We really should have stolen some clothes from at least one of the villages. No. We are not going to steal clothes from some poor villager. They might not have much more. I can figure something out. Dove flared her wings out behind her and raised her hands in the air, reveling in the freedom of the air. She was unsure what she would do next.

Avari walked through the too perfect, too groomed garden of the Suzukai family, where not a leaf was out of place. It was all too perfect, the roses all in full bloom, lusciously red, and the leaves all the exact same shade of evergreen.

“I want to set this whole place on fire,” She thought, the very image of it brought a smile onto her face. But the urge and smile were gone faster than they came. Burning this place to the ground would do her no good. It would just been another nail in her coffin as too why her sister was better than her in every way.

“Ariette doesnt burn down the family garden, she doesn’t scar the servant into quitting, she doesn’t cause that man’s car to go flying into a tree. No, she’s a Starcaller, one in 100,000 and what are you?”

She had to physically shake her head to banish the thoughts. Just because she wasn’t a stupid Starcaller, and not as good at magic doesn’t mean she was less than. She was still a Suzukai, one of the most revered families to grace the land. That had to mean something, right?

Avari sat down on the pristine polished marble bench, and rubbed her face with her hands, in an attempt to rid herself of the true event that struck up her anger.

It was another one of the useless healing session, where they tried to get Avari to heal the wounded wing of a bird. She was already exhausted, but she had been trying and failing at repairing its broken wing for over an hour. Avari was already up to her ears in frustration, and her teacher, a man with blue hair that graced that top of his shoulders, stress marks deeper than the ocean and judging green eyes wasn’t helping.

Then her sister, lean and muscular, with long white hair and a cute button nose that resembled her own walked in, laughing to some joke the woman she was with had told, a light sheen of sweat covering her. She was clearly returning from a training session, but she somehow managed to resemble a goddess, while at the moment, Avari had wild and frizzy hair result from her fingers constant working through it.

She noticed what was going on with Avari and the bird, and with a smile that couldn’t be more insincere, she came up to them. Avari’s teachers face light up, and he bowed deeply to her, far deeper than he had ever bowed to Avari.

“Hello, Ms. Suzukai, how can I assist you today?” He said, honey dripping from his voice, a complete one eighty of how he treated Avari moments before.

Before Avari knew it, they were chatting and laughing, and in the blink of the eye, the bird was all better, chirping once before taking off on its now healed wing.

“See Avari, why don’t you try a little harder like your sister? It’s so easy,” Her teacher started, but Avari couldn't stand to hear anymore. She got up, turned on her heal, and marched to the garden, breaking one of the statues near the entrance as she walked by it.

Leilianne Kalasiin

It was one of those lovely days when the temperature wasn't too high or too low, but just right. The wind was blowing and the sun was shining, as cheesy as it sounds. Leilianne found it perfect for going herb hunting. She was currently out and about in the forest that surrounded her tribe, searching for some lavender, catnip, and thyme. In the midst of an entire sea of vegetation, one small plant was easy to miss - which is what made the task difficult. But when you were experienced, it was all a matter of knowing where to look.

Leilianne hummed a tune to herself as she crossed a small stream by hopping through the rocks that protruded from it. Despite it being a fairly pleasant day, she couldn't seem to bring herself to fully enjoy it. Her mind kept wandering back to the letter that she had gotten a few days ago... Inviting her to an academy for Vaskoliir. She hadn't wanted to believe it, but the letter was very real - it had her full name and address and everything.

She was a Vaskoliir. And a damn dangerous one at that.

She had written back, trying to communicate her declination towards their invitation as politely as possible. She couldn't go - she had her mother to take care of. She wouldn't be any better than
him if she ditched her mom like that. Her grip on her satchel tightened. The very thought of it sent shivers down her back. It created a chaotic dissonance of emotions every time.

Letting out a small sigh, Leilianne shook her head to clear it of thoughts about things she didn't want to think about.
Focus on lavender, catnip and thyme. Lavender, catnip and thyme. She whispered out the three words, and repeated it in her head like a mantra. Lavender, catnip and thyme was all she needed right now.

Following a barely visible trail she had grown familiar with, the brunette soon ended up in a field filled with blooming lavender flowers. Purple dominated, with blots of green. It was a pretty sight, and it smelled lovely too.

Lavender, catnip and thyme.

She walked into the field, the plants stretching up to her knees. She picked a few, and folded them neatly into her satchel.

Lavender, catnip and thyme.

Artelioth Muniare, a Starcaller amongst the other Moon Elves. He was cherished by those around him, but his life was threatened on more than one occasion after he departed from the Voral Forest. When the opportunity for safety was presented to him, along with classes to teach him how to wield his powers more efficiently and fight successfully, Eliot made a decision immediately and left his home in the Voral Forest. Which leaves him where he is right now.

The tall Star Elf followed a large, brutish orc, who eventually announced himself as Horingmar when speaking to the man whose appearance practically screamed Headmaster.
"It seems your method succeeded. Horingmar found all of them at meeting point. Ramirov was already there with those you flagged for collection." The orc had to be referring to the students present, which were organized into two groups. Those in the second group don't look too happy to be here... Eliot thought to himself with a slender, ebony eyebrow raised. Perhaps they were forced to come? As the young male thought to himself, he observed the interaction between the authoritative figure and the orc, then straightened his posture when the Headmaster spoke.

"Hello, friends and fellow Vaskoliir! You are here because the world has treated you as freaks, monsters, a plague on society. Collector Ramirov, ready the spell please!" The Headmaster finished his small speech and addressed the leader of the second group, mentioning a spell. Collector Ramirov, hm? Seems I was correct. With Eliot's knowledge of magic, he braced himself for what he supposed was a teleportation spell, and smiled faintly when he felt the pulse of magic give his stomach butterflies. The swirls of blue energy that flew around the students and attached to each person reminded Eliot of his own white magic, and he closed his eyes to prevent himself from feeling nausea. Before they teleported, the Moon Elf heard the Collector speak about being afraid of heights and chuckled faintly. The heights are where I live. Why be afraid? Eliot thought before they rocketed into the air at an intense speed, then fell back towards the ground with a similar pressure.

As the groups landed, Eliot kept his legs spread and his knees slightly bent, bracing himself as they landed on the ground in front of the floating school. His head felt light and dizzy from the spell, but otherwise he was fine. After opening his silver eyes, the Headmaster spoke once more.
I welcome you all, fellow Vaskoliir, to Ris'Saliance Aior!

Once the Headmaster finished speaking, Eliot surveyed the group of students around him. He himself was wearing a leather coat dyed black that extended to behind his knees and leather armor that was equally dyed black. This armor allowed him to blend in with the night, but stand out during the day. His boots thudded lightly against the ground as he walked towards the back of the group, watching some students lean against trees and some on each other from the sudden teleportation. One female, a redhead, fell entirely to the ground, but Eliot was on the other side of the group and had to go around others to reach her. She stood and dusted herself off before he could help, but she still appeared troubled. Fighting back the urge to stay silent and avoid people, he approached the female and offered his hand.

"Do you need to steady yourself? I saw you fall, but I was on the other side of the clearing and the students here were in the way. That spell came out of nowhere, but I am used to this form of magic and was prepared." Eliot's voice was soft and gentle, as were his motions and his gaze. His silver eyes skimmed over her to see if she had any injuries from the fall, then met her bright green-blue ones. "My name is Artelioth, but you may call me Eliot, if you'd like." The male added after a moment, almost forgetting to introduce himself. The female was quite beautiful, causing him to stutter his words a little bit, but he continued to gaze at her with slight worry on his face. They were about a foot apart, and his long black hair moved around him slightly as the Autumn breeze blew past in a gentle manner. The view was absolutely incredible, as was the Sun Elf in front of him.
