Royal Murder (Graphic)

Introduction:

Fools, all could dream what it would be like to sit on a throne made of diamonds but none could imagine what one would do to get it. Thinking it was a simple game of Tug-O-War, but no, it wasn't even that. It was a game of Secret Murder. They all believed it too that day when my parents fell. Who would ever expect a child to be so murderous despite if blood coated them.

I loved my parents dearly as the showered me in all my desires. Emeralds and Sapphires dazzling beneath the sunlight of my room, I sat there quietly as a brush made of gold glided through my hair. I can even hear the fowls sing their songs of jealousy sitting upon my window like ladies gossiping to one another. Yet they could never touch my treasures my parents gave to me, no one could. It was all mine. But being spoiled only rotted my corpse more and more, to the point I would harm for a jewel. On my tenth birthday, my parents decided to stop giving me what I wanted. It was like my whole world came to a stop as silence decorated itself in my head. Outraged, I wanted their throne. They were no longer fit to be my parents because they would not give me anything other than a empty socket. But I couldn't have their throne made of diamonds, so I stole it...

One night as lightning struck our unholy land, I made a move that none expected. Mother and Father slept peacefully during the storm as I did not. That was because I was too busy watching them sleep, I was jealous in my own right as they got what they wanted all the time but not I! Father was easy to get rid of as I muffled his breath with my own duck feather stuffed pillow and slit is throat with his shaving blade he kept in one of the desk doors. Blood flooded down his neck like an erupted volcano, he made no struggle for survival as it was soon over. My pillow was soaked in my Father's blood, strangely I was not upset. Next was Mother, a woman I thought I loved. Time passed as I debated how I wanted to end her life but I couldn't think of anything special, so I stabbed her as she slept. The stabbing was not enough as she let out a scream of horror, thunder clapped outside the bedroom window muffling her scream. I remember specifically the moment Mother looked at me as she bled. She looked confused and I was too. Her words we're pointless as well as she asked "Why?". I said nothing in turn as I shrugged and stabbed her again. Guards began to flood outside the door as the cries of my mother echoed down the hall. At first they asked if they were alright before entering but to maintain my innocence I screamed for my parents just as if a true child lost theirs. There they found me leaning over to my mother, trying to force tears out. Blood trickled down my lips like rejected water, my skin tainted of my parents blood, my eyes cold and heartless. Now I could not let them know it was me, I had to keep the show going.

"Mommy! Wake up! Mommy...!" Forced tears ran down my face like the Virgin Mary. A guard swept me up and took me to my room. One of the servants took my hand and begun to wash me up as she too was crying at the incident. All I could do was smile, I won. I got the throne of diamonds....

Chapter One Coming Up Soon

Chapter One:

My life had become the perfect fantasy any girl could wish for, and I was the reasoning for it. The next day, my parents were buried in our Garden of Eden, a place that I use to adore as a child now lacked class. Standing there during the ceremony was pitiful and unamusing. Royal portraits of my parents looked like a drunken peasant painted them and no one paid any attention to it.

After my parents funeral later that evening, Pope Andrews from his "holy" palace of make believe to visit me and our loyal Knight Sir Franklin who has been watching me since. When Royalty dies like my parents, the Pope comes down and appoints a new line under the name of "God" especially if there are no offspring. However, I am the Royal offspring and the Pope has praised me into the throne. Fools. All fools as none have learned that I was the one that killed my parents. Everything was mine finally.

Ten years passed since I been appointed to my rightful throne and none have suspected yet. I sat in the Garden of Eden where my parents were buried. I told them I missed my parents and that I wanted to be close to them. That could not be further from the truth. Truth was, was that I wanted to sit on their graves and laugh in their faces. The garden that seemed to be ever so haunting now days, the dead cried out in vain. Sitting above the grave where my parents were buried, I ignored them both. There howls and cries were like a broken symphony that I enjoyed. Hair of soft hues of violet blew in the wind as I lifted up my hand to welcome a butterfly of orange. It wiggled its pitiful wings towards me.

Nearby was a man who obeyed all order, the True Fool. The grandson of Sir Franklin, Gravlin. Glancing over to his unworthy of a stance; "What is the point of giving life to those who don't deserve it?" I calmly asked. I enjoyed asking him these sort of questions as I was the one who killed Sir Franklin as well for falsely accusing me of murder. He was snooping around too much if I must say so myself. The butterfly that once was gentle on the tips of my pointed finger nails, now laid crushed in my palm. It's pathetic orange colored wings, crippled, twitched in my hand.

I noticed the fool looked at with an emotionless expression as if he was trying his best not to show me his fear. Though he couldn't help but shiver involuntarily as as I spoke. He responded tensely, "One would think, my lady, that everyone deserves life..." The fool looked around the garden that he called the graveyard trying not to meet my gaze. Weakling.

"Ha! You couldn't be more serious!" I laughed out. People thought my body was thin and fragile but even one would not think of it as my weakness. Even if it were true, I'm still beautiful. The wings of the butterfly that were crushed in my hand were lifted by a breeze and flew past us both as it's orange hues seemed lifeless now. Standing up from the cold bench, I decided to move on. My gown of red foil was one of my favorites as it reminded me of my parents blood. It was decorated by pointless religious chains given to me by Pope Andrews. The dress laid heavily on the ground like a sack of potatoes. Raising my my hand, I demanded my fool to Guide me to my room as my hand awaited his. Lately, everything about me seemed dead in it's own way and nothing ever mattered to me. At first I was tricked into thinking it was a curse from my parents but only fools like my knights would believe in such.

He grabbed my hand finally, yet his felt strangely warm to the touch or maybe mine was too cold. "Yes my lady." He would reply ever so sweetly yet meaningless. He started leading my from the graveyard to the castle, as I notice a moment of relief that he was to get away from such a a"creepy" place. He looked at the me like I was some beautiful maiden, but I knew I was so terribly frightening. I loved to make him feel so ugly, and frail before me.

Heels made of pure silver impaled the ground as I took each step forward. The fool's hand guided mine approaching one the entrance gates. The gates that led into the lower halls towered before us, made of dark wood and metal bolts.. Guards motioned for us to be opened as they creaked in age like rusty armor. A guard waited for us unusually behind the doors and when we got inside, they rushed towards me as if something was wrong. "My lady, one of the peasants from the village below have arrived yet they don't appear as one of the peasants. They come with an offering." I sighed in boredom as I had little desire to engage but was curious to see the offering. "Lets go fool..." I demanded as we walked through the lower halls and begun climbing a case of stairs that led to the throne room from behind. "Fool... I don't feel like climbing the rest of the way. Could you carry me?" My eyes curiously looked over but thankfully they did not meet. I relaxed myself waiting to be picked up on the third step, I'd say it was a new record. The fool picked me up with ease, as he would say I was fairly light . "Yes my lady." He would respond again as he climbed the stairs with me in his arms. He frowned, which was usually a sign that he was thinking to himself. One day I caught him thinking out loud. He thought he was just a tool and that he could be disposed of at any time. Perhaps he was right...

As we continued up the steps, I begun to play with his feathered, black hair like a child playing with a doll. My hands, pale as the moon, brushed through his hair. I could see his dazzling blue eyes but I never dared to look directly into them. There was something about him that I could not resist to touch him. Dragging my sharp, jagged nail down his cheek and across his neck, I whispered "To the throne... " as I nicked him. A single droplet of blood formed on his neck from where I nicked him and I felt the fool flinch, ah, what excitement.

He kindly set me down in my perfect throne of diamonds that once belonged to my parents. The fool stayed by my side till I was bored with his hands behind his back. My cold, dull hazel eyes stared at the door that led outside of the throne room as I wondered what moron awaited me this time. Proper and plump I sat, waving my hand to let the peasant in. However thus peasants clothing were different. Dressed in black like some reaper just who did he think he was!?
