Avalon's steps grew slower as she approached the doors to her destination. The trip to her locker had been, thankfully, uneventful and now she was a few feet away from her class. Avalon watched around the doors carefully as to or three people shuffled inside. A silver haired girl that entered just before her caught Avalon's eye but she shook it off a quietly slipped into the room behind her.

Despite all her efforts to remain hidden, she was spotted mere seconds after entering the classroom. Chris Burr, from his spot on top of a desk, called out to her. "Yo, Dalton! Where you been, chicka?" Avalon sighed internally and made her way over to the brain-less hunk of meat that Chris Burr was.

"Here. Just... chillin, you know." Avalon donned a cocky grin as she high fived Chris with a rather complicated flurry of different hand movements. Her smile dropped as she sat behind Chris where he couldn't see her. The brunette slumped in her seat and sighed, another year of these meat heads. Great.

"Burr, you disgust me. "

(BURR YOU DISGUST ME OH MY GOD I'M DEAD)
(Ahhh so you've discussed me?)

Aria walked into class, her eyes narrowed as she carefully studied each student. Some people sat closer together, laughing and talking, catching up. She walked over next to the brunette, sitting next to her. "Hi." She said, smiling a friendly grin, settling into her seat and placing her hands onto the tabletop of the cold desk. "I'm Aria, Aria Jones." Aria crossed her legs, subtly glancing around the classroom to see who was here so far. Some jocks, some nerds, some populars, some troublemakers. But she couldn't be sure truly until she knew exactly who they were and where they stood. But they were simply in the background, a white noise to her current conversation.

"No offense to anyone in this room, but you seem slightly less stuck-up than most in here. What's your name?" She murmured to the unfamiliar girl, her bangs hanging in her hair slightly, annoying her just a little bit. She began to unload the math stuff from her book bag, including some pens and pencils and erasers.

Xander walked to school silently with his head down. He didn't want to talk to anyone or be seen by anyone. He just wanted to be ignored. It's a sad life when you want to be ignored. He arrived at school late and walked to his first class in utter silence. Please dear god don't let anyone notice me. Xander hugged himself shyly as he got into his class and sat in the back corner with his head down.

(I know this is a horrible first post I'm so sorry)

Avalon barely noticed the girl sitting down next to her. Brown eyes were too busy concentrating on scratching letters into the desk to notice the movement. The voise speaking startled her a little, enough to make her drop the pencil clutched in her fingers. The wooden writing tool clattered to the desk and rolled off the side to the floor. Avalon took a deep breath she needed to stop being so jumpy. She looked up at the girl, Aria, and offered one of her famous lopsided grins, white teeth sparking in the light.

"Hi, Aria I'm-" Avalon was interupted by Chris appearing at her shoulder, arm wrapped around said body part.

"This is the one and only Avalon Dalton. Resident soccer star and badass. I must ask, fair maiden, how do you not know of her?" Avalon rolled her eyes at Chris' theatrics and shrugged the dark skinned boy off her shoulder. Chris looked momentarily disappointed but he soon replaced that with a smile.

"I can introduce myself, dude. Thanks." Avalon informed him with a somewhat sarcastic smile. Chris didn't seem to notice the sarcasm as he just shrugged and sauntered back over to his girlfriend, Jeana. Avalon turned back to Aria and smiled apologetically. "Sorry. As he told you, I'm Avalon."

Aria smiled at Chris, amused and looked over at Avalon. "I haven't heard of you cause I'm new. If you've been here a bit, maybe I can sit with you at lunch? I haven't made any friends yet." She said, already deciding to make one. If she didn't have friends she could easily be a target. To her high school was a game of the bullied and bullies. She planned to be neither, a neutral. "Unless you've got a full table." She added, looking down briefly, her foot twitching.

She watched as more kids pooled into the room, some alone, some laughing at their friend's jokes. Aria sighed subtly and turned to open up her notebook and begin writing. She often wrote simply verses and such, similar to poetry but more of a not so secret diary. She could care less who saw it, but sometimes it was morbid or different from typical writing.

Aria wrote before class started so she wouldn't be distracted. She wanted to clear her thoughts so she could focus on class and pick up on her thoughts afterwards. Her mind was always spinning so she had to write down to keep up with herself.
