Morgan smiled as she unlocked the front door. She had her backpack on, her purse on one arm, and a bag of groceries in her arms. She had her headphone in as well since she was talking to her younger sister. "So the first day was good?" She asked kicking the door closed behind her and went to the kitchen to the put the cold items away. Morgan listened intently to he little sister's excitement of being off at school. "That's great sis. I miss you so much already." She laughed and then headed to her room now that the cold items and snacks where put up. "I love you too, I'll call you later okay? Okay bye." The call ended and her headphones fell silent. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she set her things down. This would be the first year that they where apart and Morgan only hoped that they would be able to handle it.

Percy had just finished classes and had gotten home a bit before Morgan. He worked that night. His was a bartender at one of the most popular bars near campus. He peeked into the bag Morgan had set onto the counter. All that was left in it was some fruit and a few boxes of pastries.

Gavin came out of his room, rubbing one of his eyes. He didn't even realize it was nearly three in the afternoon until he glanced at the clock they had hanging on the wall in their kitchen. "Oh," He mumbled to himself in awe. He gave Percy a nod, feeling embarrassed that he has slept so late, but last night had been a long night. Camille had wanted to take him to one of the college parties, and he for some reason agreed. He was wasted last night, and now had a horrible headache.

"Hello!" Camille chirped, skipping into the kitchen, and hugging Gavin. "Thanks for coming last night!"

'How is she so chirpy?' He thought, rubbing his temples and watched as Camille made coffee.

"And hello Percy!" Camille sang, giving him a smile. I hadn't even noticed him in the kitchen...

Percy smirked seeing the box of honey buns at the very bottom of the bag. He pulled it out and opened the box going for one. "Sup?" He smiled tearing off the plastic and eating the bun in three bites. "Last night? You two party or something?" He asked chewing up the pastry and swallowing it down with a few glugs of water from the bottle he grabbed from the corner.

Morgan returned to the kitchen and saw that Percy had already opened her box on honey buns. She groaned narrowing her eyes at him. She knew she hadn't eaten the whole box on her own last time. It was him! He was the guilty one. She snatched the box from his hands as he went for another one. "Pay up!" She demanded. Percy paused and then sighed digging into his pocket producing a dollar worth of coins in quarters and dimes. She sighed and pocketed the change. "Camille. Gavin." She smiled smelling the fresh pot of coffee. "Mmm don't tell me you two are just waking up." She said.

Camille nodded to Percy's question, blabbering about how her and Gavin had "the best time ever." Gavin sourly disagreed, but said nothing and instead peered into the fridge for something appetizing. When Morgan returned to the kitchen, Camille shut up and waved to her like a little kid would.

"Don't tell me you two are just waking up," She said, and Camille's smile only grew wider, while Gavin hung his head in shame and grabbed some Orange Juice.

"Worst night ever," Gavin muttered, leaning against the kitchen counter. "And I have work in two hours. This is going to blow."

"Oh get over it you big baby." Camille slapped his arm playfully, and skipped around him to grab coffee. "I have work too tonight, but I'm not complaining."

"You're a waitress," Gavin muttered in response. "I have to do literal physical labor." Camille only rolled her eyes and muttered something about hopping in a shower.

Morgan laughed as the two went back and forth for a moment. She poured herself a cup of coffee and fixed it to her liking. Morgan didn't drink coffee for the caffeine aspect but she was one of those rare twenty something's who actually enjoyed the taste of it. She lifted the cup to her lips and took a sip.

"Aww you both work tonight? I was going to cook dinner."

Percy glanced at Morgan "You can still cook. I'll eat." He winked and glaced at his roommates. It had on,y been a couple of weeks but they all got along pretty well. He really liked Camille though she knew how to party.

"Yeah! You can still cook Morgan!" Camille sang, agreeing with Percy, and giving her a smile. "I can come home for my break, the diner is just across the street!"

"Sadly, I can't," Gavin mumbled. He seemed to always be mumbling. "I have to bike across town. That's a lot of work, but hopefully next time I can be there." The boy gave a small smile, and then checked his watch. In an hour and a half he was due at work and still needed to find some aspirin and shower. Gavin waved a bit to everyone as he left for the shower.

"How has your day been?" Camille asked Morgan, as she grabbed her own cup of coffee as well, but added sugar. She loved sugar in almost everything.
