Realistic or Modern Romance in the Dorms

"Now does that sound like a challenge or I'm getting rusty with the liquor?" Doyle said, wrapping his arm around Nadia. Turning to Tanner, he smiled. "Man, don't worry about Robert. He'll be here soon enough. No way he's letting this chance slip by. We talking about Lucy, Robert's princess. He's coming. He just needs time to make his entrance in style.". Then, he looked straight at Mel, straight in her eyes. "I love your eyes. Bloody gorgeous, excuse my attempt to mimic an English accent thought."

Melody

Mel laughed at Doyle's comment and Nadia's joke,

"Oh really Mr. Superhero apparently you don't know me too well, and Nadia I think you ought to call 911 and have the paramedics on stand by because this guy is not gonna be able to beat me."

She said before sticking out her tongue,

"Now since you chose our poison that first round it's my turn."

She stated before sashaying off to get three bottles of vodka. She returned and handed Nadia and Doyle each a bottle before popping open hers and beginning to drink from it."

When she heard Doyle's compliment she smiled and giggled,

"Thanks!"

((Bye RedInk))

"You're rusty," Nadia declared, laughing and happily taking the vodka from Melody. She wasn't planning on any type of drinking contest or drinking herself under the table at all, but she wanted to have a good time. And she did enjoy drinking now and again. "I'll call ambulances for both of you," she said, smiling cheekily as she opened the bottle and took a good sip. This was her third drink already.

"Nah, one is enough. I'm gonna share the ambulance with the ocean girl." he said smirking wide before drinking the vodka Mel brought. He drank it like a pro, but then, he felt a little bit heavy. "Man! I'm getting rusty! I need something to get me back on track! What say you, partner?" Doyle said, gently patting Nadia's shoulder. "What's to be done?"

"It is. Hey, did you know the stars, there are approximately 400 billon stars in the galaxy. With as many as 500 billion galaxies in the Universe." He grins a little and looks up at them, trying now to make out some of the constellations.

(I'm gonna smack my head to my pillow now, it's getting 1:00 AM here, AGAIN! Damn you guys, why you gotta be in a different country? Good night...wait..no...good morning. Yes, yes. ZzZzZzZz)

Melody

Mel finished off the vodka and was still standing strong she knew exactly how her body worked and there was no way she'd barf, maybe she'd get tipsy but no way in hell would she barf. Not once did she ever lose a drinking contest and no way was she gonna loose this one,

"Hmmm...If you can handle a drink that can be set on fire then you will be able to handle what else is to come after."

She stated remembering the drink one of her exes showed her how to make. She smiled at the now distant memory and brushed it off. She knows she has to live in today never again can she go back to yesterday. There's no such thing as going back in time she could only move forward.

((Bye Bye @Norbert))

"I wouldn't force anyone to share space with you," Nadia quipped. "And, hell if I know!" She laughed and looked inquisitively at Melody. "You know a helluva lot more about drinks than I do," she said. "Share your secrets."

Melody Marina Jones

Melody giggled and replied,

"There's nothing really to it, just learn how your body functions and learn what thing you need to avoid before starting a drinking fest and I've been drinking since I was 16, it's been three years. I've snuck into clubs, I've been to bars, and I have a buddy who hooks me up with some liquor from the liquor store. I've accomplished alot within these three years and I'm proud to say it.
"

She smiled and asked,

"Would you like to try my specialty??"

Mel asked Nadia and Doyle.

Spencer looks up and makes it out, "I see it too," he says, grinning. Maybe he should go back to his room, and leave the party? But he didn't want to just leave Lucy on her own.

"Oh boy, we got a veteran over here! Never imagined you to be the heavy drinking type of person." Doyle said. "Are there other surprises I should be ready for?" he asked, a worried face appearing out of nowhere, however, deep in his heart, he was hoping to see more of her surprises. He was having a blast, a great time. He felt he deserved it, at least once in his lifetime, to have a really great time, with new people at his side, people he hopes to call his friends soon.

"Would you like to try my specialty?" Mel asked. Doyle narrowed his eyes at her, a smirk appearing on his face. "For some reason, I feel like that's a bad idea, but to hell with it!" he exclaimed proudly. "Bring it on! Give me all you got!" he said.

(Doyle and Nadia seem to be getting along pretty well. I feel like there will be another person at the Best Friends section for Doyle if this keeps up in the near future)

"Ugh, you kids make me feel so old," Nadia said, taking another swig from her bottle of vodka. Two years older than Melody, even? At least Melody was legally an adult. "I know how my body functions very well, thank you, but not in the context of drinking." This statement was punctuated by a wink and another swig of vodka. As Doyle decided to go for her "specialty" drink, Nadia pointed her thumb in his direction. "Alright, I'm with stupid. Let's do this."

((Yeah. I feel like Bobby was filling that spot pretty well, but I don't know where he's gotten off to.))

Mel smiled and replied,

"Looks can be deceiving! And yep there's plenty more surprises to come starting with the drink I'm going to make."

She said with a devilish grin,

"Okie dokie then you two, Follow me!"

The girl cheered making her way towards the counter. She quickly took a bottle of Kahlua, a bottle of Grand Marnier, and a bottle of Bacardi 151. She went off and found some Irish Cream, a few shot glasses, straws and a spoon.

"First here's the lesson of the day."

She said with a grin, she poured Kahlua 1/3 of the way up in all the glasses, then she held a spoon onto the rim of the glass and poured in the cream (did the same to the other glasses), layered up the Grand Marnier the same way, and plopped in a few drops of 151.

"Now then here's the catch if you don't want your straw to catch fire you gotta drink it down fast."

She stated removing a lighter from her pocket and dangling it in front of Doyle and Nadia.

"Whoever withstands this drink will get to name anything they want as a prize."

With that said she dropped the straws into each of the glasses and lit them on fire. She handed out the drinks quickly and downed hers. It burned like gasoline her throat but she took it like a trooper
.

(Warning: do not do this at home, you may wind up with the worst hangover, EVER!)

(Bobby, where are you man? I bet Lucy is getting impatient waiting for her knight in shining armor.)

"Hey I'm not stupid!" Doyle fired back. He looked at Nadia in the eye, narrowing his, then cracked a smile. "Or at least trying not to be, especially now." he said, laughing a bit. Afterwards, he watched Mel walking towards the counter. Her devilish grin worried Doyle a bit. When she grabbed all those bottles, he leaned down to whisper to Nadia, "This looks dangerous and fun.".

Listening to her lesson, Doyle was amazed by Mel. "Where the hell you learned to do that!?" he asked, surprised. Then, grabbing the drink, watching the straw on fire, made his heart beat like crazy, but nevertheless, he wouldn't back down. He closed his eyes and quickly brought the drink to his lips and dropped it into his mouth. The liquid passed his throat and began burning him from within. The liquor was going down and down his throat, fast, but not fast enough for Doyle as he pulled the drink away from his mouth, coughing, while patting his chest crazily with his palm. "This thing is heavy, like the big league heavy." he said, leaning down on his knees.

Melody

Mel's eyes became clouded with a bit of sadness when Doyle questioned?

"Where the hell you learned to do that?"

The solemn smile appeared upon her face as she replied,

"Lets just say...a old friend taught me..."

She said before shaking off the bitter memory and changing her expression to a smirk while the sadness still hid deep within her eyes,

"What happened Superhero? You couldn't take it?"

She stated teasingly patting him on the back as he was coughing.

"Do you think you'll be needing that ambulance yet Mr.Superhero?"

She asked cheekily.

(Sorry everyone I got dragged out last night and quickly became incoherent.)

Bobby walked up to the house holding a beer already, "take 5." He walked in and immediately heard Doyle and Nadia's voices and walked over. "What's up guys." He finished the beer in his head and set the bottle down and smiled. "Am I finally at the right house? There are a lot of parties, but my princess isn't at them."

Lucy sitting with Spencer, leans over and digs out two cans of root beer. "Want one?" She asked while offer the can of "beer" to him while smiling.

"Nah, I'm okay," Spencer smiles and shakes his head. "So, okay, which ones the guy who is madly in love with you?" He asks her, his smile growing into a grin.

Lucy huffs softly. "Oh come on Spence. It's just root beer, it's not going to kill you. Ugh... Don't get me started on that... It's a football jock... I honestly don't know how... He only just met me today." She said softly while sipping her root beer.

Nadia watched Melody work, fascinated, and quite frankly a teeny bit tipsy. The occasional sips of vodka she was taking wasn't really helping, either. "Oh, yeah," she responded to Doyle, intrigued by the drink Melody was making - and the instructions. She'd been drinking longer than Melody and she was pretty confident that she could handle most anything at this point. Nadia turned as she heard Bobby's voice for the first time that night. It was about time! "Hey, Babe. I was just about to try this drink Melody here made that seems to have even trumped the great Doyle Dixon." As per Melody's instructions, she hurriedly put down her bottle of vodka and picked up the drink. "Bottoms up!" she said and downed the thing. "Woooo, that'll wake you up. That makes vodka feel like water going down," she laughed, patting her chest a bit. "Anyway," she said, her voice a little raw, "your princess is in fact, here. Or was. Don't know where she's gone off to. She went with some boy, I don't remember his name. They're both a little shy."

"Fine, fine." He frowns slightly and narrows his eyes before grinning and taking the root beer. "You must have made quite an impression or something on him, considering everyone's like... Obsessed with you both." He shrugs his shoulders, still smiling.

Bobby raised a brow, "another guy? Maybe I'm not the right knight." Bobby walked off towards more beer. He said hello as he passed people who knew him. One of his linemen lifted him up in a bear hug, "Russ! Put me down!"

"Aww fine Babe!"

Lucy sighs and shakes head. "All I did was help him find paper to use to make the football play books. He might have seen some of my drawings but that's it. Also I don't want to be the center of attention... Besides... Most football jocks date cheerleaders or the popular girls. I'm neither of those. Also why would he want a lowly nerdy scholarship art student..." She muttered while sipping her root beer.
