Realistic or Modern Romance in the Dorms

"It's no problem. Are you okay? You walked off kind of suddenly and..." He stopped talking, not wanting to push it. He smiles at Nadia. "Yeah we should uh... Make the fire, I guess. Who wants to light it?" He definitely wouldn't, he did not trust himself with things that could burn, cut, or bruise. Not for any particular reason other than he was useless and a danger to society if he held something like that.

"Nice!" Nadia said as the fire came to life. "If only we had marshmallows. Perfect with Chinese food, huh?"

Spencer watches the fire, unsure of what to do with his socially awkward self again. Lucy didn't seem very talkative, he didn't know Nadia so much, and he was certain that Bobby, who had come back to them, did not like him.

Robert walked up behind Nadia, and put his arm around her, mostly to support himself. "Or beer, right?" He winked and watched the fire, "So D and Punchy McPuncherson are hitting off. Thats good. She's not a bad looking Chick, probably right up Nightwing's Alley." He blinked a couple of times. and held onto her more.

Rose looked at her clock, "UGH! I don't wanna get up!" She rolled out of bed and moaned. "You know im going for a walk, she got up and put on some clothing and went outside towards the beach. She mumbled to her self as she got to the shore and began walking a bit faster. Sh had her headphones in and her head down and was not paying any attention to the fact that she passed by most of the people she knew on the beach. She was singing in key to her music. (Which by the way is Bulls in the Bronx! KELLIN QUINN!) She stopped and sat down to play one of her games. Well everyone else probably never noticed her.

Nick had been swimming the whole time everyone was outside, none noticed because thats what he choose, he preferred being alone, knowing others did not know him as well as they would like and it pissed him off that he never had the courage to go and talk to anyone. But being himself he never went to talk to anyone unless he had too.

Spencer looks at her, then at Bobby, and he steps away from them so that they can talk if they wanted to. He sits down near the fire and looks into it, thoughtful, and he sighs.

"I think you're not the boss of me, sooooo." He shrugged, "And Im gonna get white girl wasted, and probably throw up, and rally up, and pass out on some concrete, because thats how I F***ing roll, Lady!" He let go of Nadia, and threw his hands up drunkingly and then fell/sat down, "Or I'll sit here either one works for me."

Lucy rolls her eyes. "This is why I'm not going out with someone like you. You jocks are all the same." She said looking upset and angry as she walked off to her truck.

Melody

Mel and Doyle arrived back to where the group was and the girl heard every word Rob spoke about her. She placed the guitar down and kicked the drunk in his side while he was already down,

"Watch what the hell you say about me or next time I may decide to drown your ass."

She stated coldly as she began to set up the chairs.

"Beer's good too," Nadia said, taking a seat next to him. "And for the record, I think you'd do better sitting right where you are, pal. I'm not strong enough to catch you if you fall." Her attention was suddenly diverted by a girl walking by, totally in her own world. Nadia didn't recognize her, but considered asking her to join them.

((That is... an interesting outfit to wear to the beach!!))

Rose, began singing louder un-knowing anyone was listening. She was almost in tune with Kellin as he sung at the top of his lungs. Then she stopped and began laughing.

Bobby groan and grabbed his side, "What the hell is your problem Crazy? I said you would be a good match for my friend you jerk." He stood up and starting going after Lucy, "Hey, Im not like the other jocks! Im sooooooooo much better at jocking than they are, see? Thats not even a word! Thats how good I am! I make new words!"

Spencer looked up as she stormed off and looked at Bobby, opening his mouth to say something as he stood up. He walked away quickly, following Lucy, getting to the truck just a little after her. "Lucy! Wait up," he calls, and he reaches out to grab her arm but quickly puts his hand back in his pockets.

Alone, Grace paced about the beach, glancing up at the stars and moon illuminating the waves that gently crashed against the sand. Her signature dirty blonde hair swished in the late summer breeze as she sipped delicately at her Bud Lite in a plastic red cup. Usually, Grace didn't care for alcohol in the least. Her guilty pleasure was, and always had been Sprite. She didn't even fully know why. But, for the sake of fitting in, she had poured herself a beer.

She wasn't even sure why she was here, on a beach in Long Island at night. The only reason she was even at this place was because of her academic scholarship. She'd come from Tampa Florida, and was already starting to feel homesick. Though, the beach was beautiful, and it wasn't 120 degrees like your typical beach day in Florida at this time of year. It was an okay change. Though it didn't seem like she was making quite so many friends. Well, expect for Rob, who she'd managed to get a ride to the beach from. Even then she didn't quite know if she could call him that yet. She thought of her friends back at home, going to the beach on Saturday nights and stopping to get Sour Patch Kids Junior Mints and Gatorade from 7 Eleven. Some of the best times of her life. If only that could be recreated here. Night surfing and huge bonfires were all a distant memory now. Even if there was one here. It just didn't feel the same. Gracie just glanced at everyone as she sipped her cup every now and then, standing off to the side in a black tank top and blue denim shorts with a Hollister mark on the pocket.

Nadia looked back at her company and shook her head, mind made up. She carefully got to her feet and walked over to the girl, who she ungracefully took a seat next to. Aware that she might not notice her with the music playing in her ears, Nadia loudly said, "you seem like my kind of person. Want to come join us?" She pointed to the fire that was reaching for the sky. "We ordered Chinese." As Nadia looked back to the girl she was sitting next to, she noticed yet another pretty one a little ways away, who definitely saw the bonfire they had going. "Hey, you! Pretty girl! You should join us, too. Especially if that's alcohol in your cup."

Spencer saw that Bobby was following Lucy too, and he bit his lip. He didn't want to get in the middle of them, but she was angry, and his friend, so he couldn't leave her to be angry. Or alone with the person that made her angry. He sighs and looks over at Bobby. "Uh. Yeah. I can leave you two alone if you want me to." He says to both of them.

Lucy looks at him. "Your drunk! You have no idea what your saying. I can't stand people who drink for no reason." She snapped at Robert and turned to Spencer. "I'm going home... If you want to come?"

Melody

Mel rolled her eyes,

"Not that fuckface the stupid nickname you decided to give me."

She stated angrily as she saw the drunk go after Lucy. She stormed after him before he did anything stupid to again. She'd had just about enough of him for the night as was to the point of wanting to choke him out.

"Don't leave her alone with this drunk Spemce!"

She hissed to Spencer pissed that he would even think about leaving Lucy with that idiot.

Rose jumped and took out her head phones. "Oh! How long have you guys been here for, and sure i will join you if its all right."She rrelpied in a jumbled up sentence. Sounding a little nervous then she noticed Lucy walking away, she stood up "HEY LUCY COME OVER HERE!!" She looked at the girl, "Im sorry my name is Rose yours is?"

Spencer looks from Melody, to Bobby, to Lucy. He was really not scoring points tonight. "Sorry." He says to Melody quietly, eyes wide, before turning to Lucy and nodding. "If you want me to come, then sure." He looks over at Bobby nervously, quietly walking to stand next to Lucy.

Bobby looked at Spence, "She's all yours dude." He stumbled back, then away from the three, at first towards Nadia and the girl who yelled, but he didn't want to deal with people,so then he turned towards the street, "Where the **** is Mark I need a bed." He ran his fingers through his hair. He was hot and flustered, he wasn't use to being in situations where he was unliked and it was throwing him off.

"I've no idea. I'm tipsy and have absolutely no concept of time." She grinned as though this were the best thing in the world. "It's totally all right. We're a pretty chill group, I think. Well..." she looked over to Lucy, Spence, Melody, and Bobby, who didn't look so chill at the moment. "Doyle Dixon and I are, anyway. Those guys will cool down eventually." She turned back to Rose in surprise. "You know Lucy? Then you'll fit right in! Everyone seems to know her. I'm Nadia, pleasure to meetcha."
