Realistic or Modern Romance in the Dorms

"Hey." Bobby tossed the sandy beer away , "a fire huh?" He smiled and looked at Lucy, "hey there Sweetheart." He winked and swayed a little.

Yep. That was definitely the guy who was obsessed with her. Spencer goes a little quiet and runs his hands through his hair, chewing the inside of his cheek. He looks at the pile of sticks awkwardly.

"Hey, I'm here too! You're not alone!" Nadia said, before turning back to Bobby. "Man, you're hammered. Dial it back a bit, Babe. I'm sure Melody's got more strength left in that fist of hers." She said this partly out of concern for Bobby, but also for Lucy and Melody.

Doyle watched Mel carefully as she raised her hand high in the sky. He smiled at the sight. He felt happy. He was happy. "Dreams, huh?" Doyle asked, smiling. "Seems like your mother is a great person. Awesome actually." he said, not knowing that Mel's mother passed away. "Think you can help me meet her? I really want to ask her what the hell she did to give birth to such a crazy daughter." he said, with a short laugh.

"Think you can teach me one of her teachings? If it involves staying on the path on completing dreams, I so want it!" he smirked wide. With his new nickname, Doyle raised an eyebrow. "Princy boy? Alright then, ocean princess, let's go then. I'm starving."

He looked as Lucy walked off, "she's the one who popped me?" He touched his cheek and winces, "she's a jerk." He frowned

Melody

Mel smiled sadly,

"If your ok with a visit to the cemetery then sure you can meet her anytime you'd like. And I can answer your question, it's because she was a crazy woman."

She smiled acting a bit more like herself.

"And ok princey boy we start lessons tomorrow at 11am."

She smiled. She hopped up onto the stage and strolled towards the room that had an equipment sign above it. She opened the door and picked up a acoustic guitar and handed it to Doyle,

"Hold this while I go find the chairs."

She says before walking deeper into the poorly lit room. She found some chairs and dragged them out,

"Okie Dokie we should be all set princey."

She says with a smile.

"Wh...I...I didn't knew...that...sorry." Doyle said, feeling a little bit bad for clearly making her sad. Before saying anything else, Mel gave Doyle the guitar and went inside the darkness. "You sure that's a good idea, there might be monsters lurking around." he said with a small and short laugh. Then, he waited patiently for her to come out. Once she did, he cracked a smile. "I thought the monsters got you and I have to turn into a shining knight to save you." he said.

Then, he put the guitar down and walked towards Mel. "Hey. I'm not that good at this, but," he slowly and gently wrapped his arms around Mel, bringing her into a hug. "I'm here for ya. If you need anything, I don't know, just talk or crack a smile, just come to me, okay?" he said. "My charming capabilities should be enough to boost your mood." he joked. "And, I now know you crazy, but as crazy as you are, I'll take the chairs. I can't trust myself letting the guitar in my hands. But I trust you, so the guitar should be very safe with you."

(I believe it's an acoustic, I mean, if Nadia wants a concert in the middle of the night on a beach, then I think Doyle can't handle being this awesome.)

Spencer walks over to the two people talking, Nadia and Bobby. He opens the truck door to the front of the car and grabs his phone from the seat, he had left it in there when he had got out. He was always forgetting to pick it up. He turns around to face the two and smiles awkwardly, messing with his fingers again, cracking them or using the other hand to move them around.

Melody

Mel giggled,

"Sorry but there's no monsters tonight but if there were I'd put em to sleep."

She smiled and the next thing she knew Doyle was giving her a hug. She blushed a bit and looked up at him,

"Thank you Doyle."

Smiled and pecked him on the cheek before she exchanged the chairs for the guitars,

"And hey I'm not crazy just not completely sane."

She stuck out her tongue playfully as she lead the way back to where the others were. Over the many years she lived in New York she obtained the skill to memorize how to get somewhere and back to where she lives with no problem.

"Hey princey boy what's your goals and dreams in life?"

"Yeah, that's the one. But she's not a jerk, I promise. She's pretty cool. Anyhow," she said, draping an arm casually around Spencer, "this kiddo here is Spencer. He's not the party type either, but he's a good kid. Spencer, this jock here is Bobby, self-proclaimed 'Lucy's knight'. Make nice, now."

Spencer smiles politely and waves his hand slightly, crossing his arms across his chest. "Uh... Hi Bobby. So you're the one I've been hearing about so much." He scratches the back of his neck while he keeps one arm still crossed. What did she even mean by make nice? Whatever, girl stuff? Normal people stuff?

"I doubt that you are not crazy. Hit a guy that bad? Make does type of drinks? Hell, you're one of a kind." Doyle laughed. "I hope my cheek won't get red. Otherwise I'll have to blame it on you." For the first time in his life, he stuck out his tongue as well, to Mel. He felt proud. Proud of himself. With a smile on his face, he swamped the guitar with the chairs and when Mel asked him about his goals and dreams, his smile changed to an O. "I...well, this is a second. Well..." he began slowly. "Well, I want to be a film maker. But to make sure I'm a good one, I came here, to study everything I believe it will turn out to be useful. That's my goal. The goal I made with a friend. And for my dreams? I have no idea, to be honest." he said, as he followed Mel throughout the beach. He stopped suddenly and turned to the sea in his left.

"You know...I think I know what my dream is now. Thanks to you, so you should feel special!" he laughed as he said that. "I love your smile. It's...it's..." he tried to grab his words. "It's beautiful and seems that I can't get enough of it. People are beautiful when they smile. You're beautiful when you smile. So...my dream is...to make people smile. Make them happy, you know. Despite all they have been through, they should never stop smiling. It's like an assurance, that everything will be fine and...and...that they should never change anything about their past...because they are who they are because of their past. They are strong. You are strong. So...that's...I think that's my dream...".

"Yeah." He looked at Spencer for a moment, then walked off, "I need another beer." Bobby started to walk toward the stage, hoping he could find another beer there. His face was going numb, which made his cheek hurt a lot less. He saw D talking to the chick who had hit him, "Careful D, this one has a mean left hook, dont go breaking her heart."

Spencer bit his lip and raised his eyebrows before turning away. "He... Does not like me very much. I uh. I'm going to find Lucy." He quickly walks off in the direction that Lucy had gone.

"Lucy!" Spencer walks up to her, grabbing some of the sticks from her arms. "You look like you could use a hand with these," he says and he smiles.

Mel stopped and smiled,

"Well your doing a amazingly damn fine job at achieving that goal princey! And I'm glad we have similar goals, only difference is that I wanna see people's smiles when I'm up on stage, singing and dancing. I wanna transfer positive energy to them I wanna see people dancing and singing because of the difference musics made in their life."

She cheered, she heard Bobby's voice and turned to face him,

"He already knows, after all he was one of the witnesses to me popping you one right in the jaw."

She stated cheekily. She felt a bit better after hitting him earlier.

"I hope my message was clear enough for you steroids."

Melodys words were sharp like daggers as she stood there holding the guitar smiling.

( Nite @Norbert )

"I think he's just drunk," she said to Spencer as he walked away, leaving her alone. "Uh." She slowly followed after him, finding no way to make herself useful but wanting to be around them anyway. "So. Lighter?"

He rolled his eyes, which hurt. He frowned and turned again, realizing there was probably no beer with these two he started walking away again, not really picking up his feet, he was shuffling back towards the truck. He saw Nadia and the other two and decided he might as well hang out with them, because they look like they're doing something entertaining.
