Nara here. I've just joined and this seems like a pretty cool site. Anyway, this thread is exactly what it says on the tin. Romance 1x1s. Let's get started, then ^.^
About Me
❆ I usually post at least once a day unless if I'm suffering from writer's block or really don't have time.
❆ My grammar's good and I rarely make typos.
❆ I can give you anywhere from 1-3 paragraphs if it's a conversation or quick scene. Longer scenes mean more paragraphs.
❆ I love making friends and talking OOC but I'm bad at making small talk so do try to be friends with me >.<
❆ I've only RPed via PMs, but I'm willing to try threads.
❆ I love excitement so when we're discussing the plot do try to add something interesting, like not just 'romance' as the genre. Add something else \(OvO\)
❆ No-nos: incest, furries, m/m, f/f
❆ I only do modern settings. I'm not likely to do any other unless if I just love the plot.
❆ Anime face claims are easier to find so I prefer those. I'm willing to use realistic if you prefer.

❆ Good grammar! You don't have to be perfect, making some errors is totally alright. Just make sure I can understand what you're saying?
❆ Reply! At least! Once! Every! Few! Days! To be honest I'd prefer if you'd reply once a day. Don't start an RP with me if you're gonna reply once a week or something.
❆ This isn't really a requirement but... be considerate of what I want? Like in most RPs I'm kind of a suckup, always asking my partner which gender they're comfortable playing and what they prefer and I end up with something I wouldn't choose had I gotten a choice.
❆ Also not a requirement: be friendly! Don't be a pissbaby >.<

I don't have a particular plot for this one. Perhaps two assassins working in the same
organization keep getting paired up for missions? Maybe they're rivals? I don't know.
❆ Assassin/Target ❆
Action • Romance • Modern • Crime
This is basically your cliche 'assassin gets sent to assassinate someone
and falls in love with the target'. I don't really have more of a plot for it.
❆ Criminal/Hostage ❆
Romance • Modern • Crime • Kinda slice of life
A criminal gets cornered at a crime scene, grabs a hostage in desperation, drags said hostage off
to their hideout and decides to use hostage as trump card if police are ever close to catching them.
❆ Instagrammer/Barista ❆
Slice of life • Romance • Comedy • Modern
The barista works at Starbucks and after a few months decides they really hate hipster Instagramers.
When they see a new customer stroll in, they can tell from a glance that this is an 'Instagrammer'.
Thus, they purposely misspell their name every time they visit, which turns out to be daily.

Lovely Complex feels, anyone? One of the major themes will be both of them
developing complexes about their height; the girl wondering whether it's okay
for girls to be taller than their boyfriend, and the boy feeling less 'manly' due to his height.

Man, I love switching gender roles. Usually it's bad boy/good girl but no, not here. I guess
it's basically the same as your usual one but with a brash, bold girl and a nerdy, bookish boy.

Romance • Modern • Slice of life
So, you see, there are these roommates. And guess what happens after that? Guess,
guess. They get a crush on each other! Yep, sappy and cliched as it is, that's what I want.
❆ Pen pals ❆
High school • Romance • Modern • Comedy • Friendship
Muse A's high school is having a pen pals thingy for extra credit, and since Muse A is
nearly failing, they decide to participate. They get paired up with Muse B who is in
another high school across the country.

Gah I'm a sucker for haters-turned-to-lovers >.< This can be anything! Rival CEOs, rival ice cream trucks, rival nerds who top the class, tying each time, rival newspaper advice columnists, rival singers, basically anything with rivals fits in. ^.^

Urban fantasy • Romance • Comedy
Muse A really wants to be a witch and decides to finally start dabbling in witchcraft. She makes her own
hideout in the woods and crafts a few potions. This brings her to realize a problem: she isn't nearly as
daring as to try to drink them herself. Muse B happens to stumble along and Muse A takes advantage of
the fact that B is in need of some quick cash and offers him a job as her guinea pig and tester.
❆ Comic book artist/Secret superhero ❆
Romance • Modern • Crime
Muse A is a comic book artist. Muse B is a secret superhero who defends the city they live in
from criminals. They meet and Muse B immediately gets a huge crush on Muse A. When will
Muse B finally be able to tell Muse A about their alter ego?
Yep, alright guys, that's it ^.^ I'm totally open to more suggestions so please don't hold back. I can play either gender and either character. Looking forward to RPing with y'all (/OvO)/
